Petterino's
Top-Etiketten:
Great food, great service and would highly recommend to anyone.
This is one of my favorite places in Chicago. It is better than Sardi's in New York.
Everything was terrific. If I would have known that would be my last time at Petterino's for a couple of weeks I would have been more appreciative. Petterino's remains one of my most favorite restaurants in the City and my "go to" restaurant before a play.
Kudo's to everyone at Petterino's.
See you soon.

I had the Fish and Chips and was very enjoyable and plenty of food.
Tracy the hostess is the best , she greets everyone with a big smile, makes everyone feel like they are very important and I have seen customers yell at her but her affect never changes

Very touristy spot, food was okay but courses came out too quickly. Lots of overlap between salad and entree. We were not in a rush to go a theatre show (which I presume some guests are)- would have been nice if the waitress asked so we didn’t feel rushed
Everything was great. Chicken piccata was a hit, and the atmosphere was perfect. Pace of service was ideal for making the opera on time. Thanks again.
Great service and wonderful meal! Reservation was ready and we were seated immediately. Atmosphere was very nice, but a little frantic as servers are tasked with getting theater goers out for performances at various start times. We’ve been to Petterino’s many times and always enjoy it!
Went for a meal while visiting the downtown area. Menu had plenty of options as well as the bar . Great service and a tasty meal.
Outstanding service and food. This has become my go-to restaurant for business lunches. Never disappoints.
Servers were friendly and service was fast (helps pre-theater). Both menu selection and food quality were meh. (One exception: my wife's soup was really good.) The main thing it has to offer is proximity to the Goodman (you don't even have to go outside) and relatively few other good options nearby. Also there are some great caricatures. Other than that, eminently missable for dinner; may be a better option for post-theater drinks.
Nathan and his colleagues were extremely pleasant and attentive. I had a very enjoyable and welcoming dining experience.
The crab cake appetizer was good but not as good as I expected. Our meal was excellent.
We had an awesome server but I can’t remember her name!
Good food. Prompt service. Would have preferred sitting in the main dining room
Girl’s night out!
Went to a show at the Auditorium Theater
Great restaurant and great service. Food was on the salty side, otherwise great!
Like an old friend. Reliable and consistent but not particularly exciting.
I love Petterinos for its history of popularity with the theater crowd, its swanky clubbiness, and its comfort. The food is solidly good if not amazing, yet there is a cozy sense of "old Chicago" here, the walls lined with framed caricatures of the famous folks who have graced its tables. I had the "Irv Kupcinet" salad, a hearty Cobb with a side of salmon. Our server Missy was attentive and informative, steering us well with all our selections, highlighted by the key lime pie, which was tart and delicious. I just love this place and would definitely go again. It's a "special occasion" spot pre-theater, or great for lunch if you work in the Loop.
Nice place. Was disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a steak - it was overcooked and dry. The key lime pie, however, was delicious.
Excellent service and good food. Only wish valet opened earlier
The waiter was super busy and not able to take a beverage order as quickly as we would have liked, BUT we were seated earlier than our reservation and once the waiter got to us he was terrific! Always one of my favorite places!
Service was very poor. Waiter took order and we did not see him again until it was time to pay. Meal was warm, not hot. I wanted a refill on my Diet Coke. Asked the bus boy 3 times, each time he said he would get the server who never came:( You would think spending $100.00 on a meal would get some level of service.
After theatre
Food and service we’re excellent as always. This is a great place to go before a show.
Guest dinner delivered cold. She was given credit for the dinner. Thank you
Good meal right next to the Goodman, and they're used to serving people with theater tickets.
Love Petterinos!
My only issue Saturday was that they sat us right by the bathroom and my husband's chair was in the way and people kept kicking his chair or using his shoulders to get around him. Made him very uncomfortable.
Everything else was very good
This was a very convenient spot to eat close to the theater. Our server was very efficient and made some really nice suggestions.
The service was exceptional, both friendly and efficient. We will return often.
Loved it, first time there! Will definitely recommend to friends.
The food was great and our waiter was wonderful! We will be back soon.
Fish always good
Thank you for not rushing us!!!
Such good food and wine. Started with the good bread. Whitefish and five cheese ravioli with some garlic spinach. Used the valet for show parking.
Pre-theatre dinner; first question from our server was what time our theatre started. He kept us on time! John was great!!
Greeted pleasantly at the door. Sat immediately, which was surprising because the place was very busy. Service was spot on...food was fantastic!
Great food, great service, just slightly noisy not unbearable. Would return anytime.
