Rooftop bar serving craft cocktails and Southwestern cuisine 15 floors above downtown in the AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. Take in views of the San Antonio River Walk, Main Plaza and San Fernando Cathedral.
Our food menu at 1 Watson includes Texas-inspired items such as smoked brisket tacos as well as three varieties of tostadas. Enjoy craft cocktails, beers and wines from select Texas vineyards and beyond. Our libations menu features cocktails made from Texas-made bourbon, vodka and gin.

We have Reservations available for a percentage of our restaurant and the rest of the tables will be on a first come first serve basis. For all reservations, a two-hour time limit will be enforced. We will only hold your table for 20 minutes after your reservation time. Thank you for join us at 1 Watson!

Our server was amazing! She was very attentive and made us feel so welcomed. Food was great. Took a bit long to receive but it was all delicious. We will definitely return. Our Anniversary dinner was a success!

This was my second visit to the Watson rooftop bar. I love the atmosphere and drinks. Our waitress was great but once my reservation was coming to the end of the time slot the hostess came over and was very rude and standoffish and told us our reservation was ending in 15 mins and we have to move to an unreserved table if one was available. Mind you I respect that but her demeanor and attitude was on the verge of barking at us instead of kindly reminding us that our reservation was coming to an end and the bar appreciated our patronage. The icing on the cake was no one ever was seated at the table and it remained empty the duration of the night. So who really knows if the table was actually reserved or if she was just on a power trip? Regardless it definitely left us with a sour taste in our mouth.

A fantastic place in San Antonio. The ambience of the venue is fantastic and the food is delicious. Our server was amazingly personable. The host just off the elevator, though was slightly abrasive. You want that first moment when you walk in to be a good experience and she just did not deliver that.

This place is never excessively packed but they still turn people away and act like it a hot night club in Miami. It's ridiculous. That said, the drinks are weak and pricey so I'm overcharged for juice and the food is okay nothing memorable but definitely edible. The only reason to come to 1 Watson is for the views.

Hostess was rude and unwelcoming. We asked to be moved outside. Told this was not possible due to reservations. Restaurant stayed half empty during our “2 hour” dining window. We could have been accommodated.

I had reservations for about two weeks. When we entered, we weren't even seated outside which is the main attraction of the restaurant. I would have understood if the place was busy but there were multiple seats open. When we did get seated it took over 20 minutes for someone to even come and assist us. If we had not gotten up to get the assistance who knows how long we would have been waiting and again considering the place was basically empty the slow service was not acceptable. Then the food came and was mediocre. The portion size was small but unfortunately expected in this type of restaurant but the quality was bad, my salmon was dry and the corn tasted like it came from a can. The blackberry smash was watered down. I was beyond excited to come to this place and left very disappointed after my experience. I will not recommend this to friends. The only portion I enjoyed was the immaculate view we got to see after we ate.

The waitress took about 45 min to acknowledge we were even there and that is only because my husband went to the hostess to ask where our waitress was. Expected more from a high end establishment. She was attentive after that. Other than that it was really good.

It had been almost an hour before we were served our drinks. We had to ask for a waiter to even be waited on. Creepy old man was hovering over our table the whole time (pretty sure taking pics)- waiter was friendly. Apps were yummy. Main course, was okay.

This place one of the best views of the San Antonio skyline. This place is an absolute must-visit if you are a visitor or local. Now that the season is changing and the weather is becoming more cooler, it is very nice to sit outside at sunset, it is absolutely beautiful at the golden hour.

I reserved a table the day of and the latest available was 5:15pm. which was a little early, but we were staying at the AC Hotel and this was convenient and the photos on OpenTable looked good. The service was great and we got a nice table in front of the garage doors, which was nice to feel close to being on the patio without the heat or brightness of the sun. The menu was limited with not a ton of options, but we loved what we ordered which was the brisket tacos, shrimp tacos and street corn skillet. The ambiance was lively dance music but not blasting like many other restaurants which can be annoying. Loved the decor throughout the restaurant. Great view from the 14th floor "rooftop". If we ever decided to go back to San Antonio, we would definitely go back again especially if we stayed at the AC Hotel.

Was seated in a busy throughfare near the walk up bar and as a result people kept running into one of our chairs when other tables were available. No service at all for over 20 minutes and the bartender was extremely rude and couldn’t care less and she told us so. This place has serious operational issues, beware!

This was my 1st time visiting 1 Watson and our server was AMAZING. The charcuterie board was to die for and the drinks were amazing. BEAUTIFUL view and great atmosphere. 10/10 recommend. I will be going back.
