We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was even better than we expected. Parking was a bit tight, although there is supposedly underground parking around the building which we didn't get a chance to check out. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We chose restaurant week for our first time dining at 2941. The food and service was exceptional. We will be back - next time with our daughter - for a delightful treat.
Pork Confit was a bit smothered in soy sauce, and it made it difficult to taste the other ingredients that were otherwise delicious on their own. Regardless, the rest of the night was terrific. Skate was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying lobster sauce was very light and fit the dish well. Ambiance was pleasant, wine list was heavily French which fit the theme and menu structure. Service was present but not overly present. I would come back.
Table was too close to the heat conduct hence hot now and then.

A fantastic experience! Decided to go to 2941 during restaurant week, and to celebrate my birthday. We had read NOVA magazine's review where they rated 2941 as their number one pick of the annual Top 50 restaurants in the DC area. We couldn't agree more - 2941 is awesome. The food was off the charts good, the service was impeccable, and the restaurant is beautiful. The magazine said to try the Prix Fixe menu and trust the chef. We did - they were spot on! Absolutely earned our highest recommendation. We're already planning our next trip.
2941 is our favorite restaurant in the DC area. But we were disappointed dining there during Restaurant Week. The food was outstanding - no surprise there. But we were seated in a side area off the main room that was noisy, with talking between wait staff contributing to the noise level. The wait staff brought a wrong dish (quickly corrected) and made an error on our bill (fortunately I caught it, and was quickly corrected). We'll cut them slack - presumably the pandemic interfered with what is normally a wonderful dining experience, and look forward to their usual impeccable service next time
Went for restaurant week--the mushroom veloute was outstanding.
It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we elected to dine at the bar! Ehlay and Andress, (the bartenders, just guessing at the spelling) took beautiful care of us and could not have made it a more pleasurable experience! The drinks were yummy and our dinner was divine! Thank you to everyone for making our dinner so very special! We took tons of photos and will never forget our special evening at the fabulous 2941!
I have been here before and have never been disappointed the duck cassoulet and opera cake were the highlights. The sage advice cocktail was also very tasty i will definetly be back.
Amazing food, especially for Restaurant Week 2022. We enjoyed everything in the 3-course menu, especially the entrees (skate, braised duck) and mushroom soup appetizer. Service was also wonderful.
I took my mom for her birthday. This was my third time to 2941, and it was her first experience! I am grateful to the chef for being able to accommodate to our food allergies, and our waiter in his diligence. I enjoy coming during Restaurant Week, and have something different each time -- it helps me in experimentation and expanding my palette. Merci!
Brought friends here and we were not disappointed! Attentive staff, excellent cocktails, and delicious food! It was as I remembered; we will be back! We loved everything we ordered - calamari, tuna tartare, duck, steak, and desserts, and would order it all again. High quality food prepared with attention to detail.

My husband‘s birthday dinner
Working off the full menue or enjoying the price fix or tasting menue will be an enjoyable experience. All the dishes are prepared to be both appealing to the palette and the eye. If you can take advantage to the wine pairing the Somalia will take you on a tour of the world with perfectly paired wines to enjoy with each course.

We haven't been back to 2941 in years. Our loss. Last night, we had the Chef's Tasting Menu and were enthralled! Imaginative and varied, it addressed without compromise the unspoken preferences of both my wife and me — she a pescatarian, I, a seafood-averse carnivore. The service was both attentive and unobtrusive.
The high-ceilinged, spacious dining room provides as safe an interior as can be found in these trying times. We will be back.
Great service and food
Typical 2941 dinner... special occasion, and made perfect with the meal... Service was attentive but not intrusive... the meal was absolutely superb... really notable. We always say when we're there, " We need to come here more often!"
Great food and service. We went after dark so couldn't see the lake.
The courses were small for the tasting menu and most of members of my party were still hungry. With a high cost we did not feel like it was a great value. None of the dishes blew us away. The service was attentive but not that welcoming or helpful.
Another terrific meal. 2941 has never disappointed. Had the Chefs 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairing. All courses were great. Wines were very good. Some better than others. Service was excellent too. Can’t wait to return
