Great restaurant! Food was wonderful, great tasting dishes and beautiful presentation! Service was fantastic!
a fantastic combination of excellent food and superior service
A charming restaurant with delicious, innovative food. Loved the oysters, but not the gazpacho granita
Awesome food (we got poultry and beef), cocktails (Grenadine), vibe (decor and noise level) and dessert (ice cream infused with rosemary and olive oil). Owner is great and so are wait staffHighly recommend this spot.
Service was exceptional
Had a wonderful dinner. Flavors were on point. I'm glad we live close by. We will be regulars there.
Everything was delicious!
What a find. Inspired Spanish cuisine in a beautiful, cozy space. Tasty cocktails and excellent overall value. Super friendly staff that know what they’re doing. Looking forward to going back.
We enjoyed our very first business dinner since March 2020. The food and atmosphere was fantastic and the restaurant is adorable with an amazing staff.
It took about 30 minutes to get a drink delivered. They seated my date in the back and me in the front after losing my reservation. There is no cell signal in the back, so for 15 minutes or so we each thought the other stood us up.
Food was adequate, but not omg good. Won't be back for a few years if ever.
Food was great, waitress was super friendly and helpful. Ice cream (especially the pear) was fantastic and fresh. Atmosphere was lively and unique.
The ambience is wonderful, the food was great, and the service was good
Delicious! Not one bad thing. We were surprised at how delicious the bread was. Croquettes were so tasty. Well flavored. I had the Bavette steak which was cooked perfectly. The fingerling potatoes were crispy and cooked just right. My husband had the paella which was the perfect amount of seafood to rice. We ended with buneulos which was one of the best desserts I ever had. Make sure to get the Sangria which is topped off with a little prosecco!
Three of us enjoyed dinner, we shared several tapas (don't miss the croquetas!), the red wine was very nice and we ate enough that ended up sharing two mains - really enjoyed the octopus pasta - minced small almost like a clam pasta - but big octopus flavor! Also the beef brevette was tender as could be, tasty and cooked to perfection.
Our first time and we will be back. The atmosphere was romantic and down to earth - I loved the candles... nice to be nestled in a neighborhood vs. downtown. Parking took a bit of time but walking to the restaurant, we were rewarded with a beautiful view of Coit Tower, the Bay Bridge and a crystal clear night.
We sat outside with a heat lamp for warmth. Staff was attentive, helpful, and professional. We were recommended to order the octopus and fig dishes, both delicious and beautifully plated. We had the chicken and two cocktails. Exceeded expectations.
It was our first date, the atmosphere was perfect: It's on the corner, it's inviting, it's not loud inside - we could hear each other. The waitress, the owner, the chef, the whole staff I think knew what was up and gave us our space and time (we were only there 5 hours) and made it really comfortable for us.
(BTW she's a keeper and this will be our place)
Yes, the food was great too. I know I wasn't paying attention, but it really was absolutely excellent from presentation to ample portions and what we both had was simply delicious.
Exceptional restaurant! Food was superb as was the service, chef visits each table.
Good food. Nice ambiance. Great Service
We loved everything.
Food was great, staff was
Ambiance was cozy
Great restaurant, great food, great ambiance, and excellent value. What more could you want from an elegant dining experience! Lamb was delicious. Octopus dish was very tasty. Every dish was a pleasant surprise. And it’s a beautiful restaurant!
We dined at Abrazo twice last weekend. My daughter has just moved to San Francisco and I came out to help her with the move. We liked Abrazo so much that we went back two nights later! The menu is very creative and varietal. I know she will be there often, as the food is delicious and it is a convenient walk from her apartment.
Food, wine selection, and service was awesome. Very chill spot for a Thursday night after work. All of the availability for reservations was especially solid.
What a gem! Delicious food, charming dining room with high beamed ceilings. Pleasant service.
This is more than a neighborhood gem. It’s a Bay Area gem. Food, service, staff all beyond expectations. We’re going to be weekly regulars. If you have the opportunity, don’t miss it. We had oysters, lamb shank and paella. Superb!
Abrazo never disappoints. My fave go-to fancy dining place in the neighborhood. Fancy but ultra- friendly at same time. Owner Mike came up to say hi and served wonderful desert. Thanks for always making us feel welcome!
A charming neighborhood bistro with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is excellent. Try the paella and fresh bread - it is to LIVE for! This was our first time there even though we live in the neighborhood. We WILL be back!
Food, presentation, menu options and wine list were all fantastic. Can't wait to return.
Food was excellent. Service was terrible. As a party of 7 we got seated in a kind of grotto, which was nice and cozy. The server who helped us out at first was courteous and tried his best (bless his soul) but was overwhelmed cause he didn't have any help and constantly had to run back and forth between the main area and the back, where we were seated. So the delays at first were understandable. He got relieved by another waitress who barely even paid us a glance. She was too busy fraternizing with other tables to pay us any attention. The drinks were delayed, the food was delayed and even water was hard to come by. At the end when we were ready to checkout, even the check was not forthcoming, cause she was too busy chatting up her past with the table next to us. We had half a mind to dash but that wouldn't be fair to the chef cause the food was outstanding. It is a shame really but half decent service could do wonders for such a place.
Phenomenal food - great staff! Fantastic experience.
Food & service excellent, and beautiful presentations on food. Will definitely go back.
Fantastic! Service was excellent. The food was also. We had The croquettes, and the figs for starters, amazing! The lamb shank was simply the best I’ve ever had. Their ice cream is made in house, and the vanilla with olive oil and sea salt is amazing! Highly recommend this place.
Wonderful tapas and paella and WINE!
Food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating with changing the table from downstairs to upstairs.
Abrazo never fails to provide a great experience. Michael is such a creative chef, and the (hard-working) staff is always pleasant and committed to making the night a success. We've never had a dish -- appetizer, salad, or main -- that fails to impress. Our out-of-town guests last weekend were thoroughly delighted.
One of SF's hidden gems. Without taking away from what this place has to offer, just trust the fact that you will not leave disappointed.
It feels like a trip to old Spain with all of the charm and warmth. Excellent food and good service.
Isiah treated us like royalty from the moment we took our seats by the window. Delicious white wine from the Basque region of Spain. Outstanding appetizers of charred octopus and another of croquetas. We both had to have the Paella and it did not disappoint. Overall great choice for our anniversary.
The owner and chef let us stay well after the other guests left. He and the rest of the wait staff were extremely nice, and the food was delicious. This is my favorite tapas place by far!
The atmosphere is sophisticated yet simple. The host was welcoming. The food choice and drink choice were appropriate for the Spanish theme. The food was excellent. They have the best paella I have ever had.
The food was really good. The service was very, very good considering there was only one server. I feel very good for their ability to do this which seems to be during a time it’s hard to find help. I hope more people come out and support these people more. When we left there were enough customers, the place should be full, according to COVID rules.
