Brilliant food
Busy rugby weekend. Fitted us in quickly. Good food.
Food was good and so was the waiting staff. Veg or chicken Madras is particularly good. Stay away from tandoori items.
Great value Great food Great staff.
we will be back
Very friendly staff and the food was amazing, will definitely go back
GREAT FOR GROUP TRIPS ON A BUDGET !!
The restaurant hosted 20 of us for dinner ! 2 course for €10 was a bargain! The food was great and so was the service !
Would definitely recommend for big groups wanting a tasty value dinner !
Honestly, the food was ok. Not outstanding. I've had better food from indian takeaways at the same price. There was not much flavour or spice as you would expect. I would rate 3 out of 5 for food. Great service though
Very good food for this price. Nice service and a cute little restaurant. We will be back later. Just could do with a little overall spring cleaning.
Good service, central & convenient for city walk about. Recommended
Great food, reasonably priced, great service, would definitely go back!
It was my first experience with indian cusine and I loved it. I thougt that Indian culture is full of delicious food, music, colours and energy. I was hoping for experience a bit of all this things in indian restaurant and I'm dissapointed, time has stopped there 20 year ago, it's clean but kinda sad, I was hoping for little piece of Bollywood ;). What is the most important it's definetly worth to go there and try the delicious food because it was way more than I expected, and the 4course menu was a fair amount of food, we couldn't eat it and had to take it home :)
Food was clearly microwaved, samosa were steaming and soft. Papadoms cold and the pickles were just passed between tables without being replenished. Chicken was crunchy, naan was soft and again steaming.
Then the waiter decided to tell us that he was so hot that sweat was dripping down his back.
A horrible experience in what should have been a nice last evening meal in Dublin
Bill arrived but agreed to only pay for what we enjoyed, 2 bears
The food and atmosphere was fantastic. If you want your dish hot just ask and they will deliver! Challenged the chef to make it hot and they did not disappoint. My dish tonight was amazingly spicy and yet retained the great taste! Will be back!
Really enjoyed our night. Simple restaurant with gorgeous food and nice service. Will deffo be back :)
First ones into this place welcomed in waiter was friendly the do great offers but you can’t change or add on but what we ate was good a smiling waitress appeared she was fantastic would definitely recommend
I didn't know very much about this restaurant when I booked it but I wanted to try something new. The appearance of the restaurant was nothing to shout about but the first thing that stood out to me was the service. The waiter who attended to us was polite, kind, friendly and very quick. Lastly though, the largest plus of this restaurant was the food. Both myself and my SO were extremely impressed with how the food tasted. Not 5 star dining but a pleasant surprise. 4/5, only weakness being the appearance.
Nice quiet restaurant, cute and in a great location of temple bar. Staff are friendly and attentive. I would recommend aleena :-)
Really good value, excellent service, quiet though got busier in the evening, good food.
We had a meal here with my wife, to celebrate my birthday. Slightly off the main thoroughfare in the Temple Bar area, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious with a good selection of vegetarian dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Very overpriced for the quality of food we were given.
Woeful service.
Terrible food.
Over priced.
Would not recommend.
After a tour with limited food options, we were looking forward to some interesting food in Dublin because of memories of some really wonderful meals during our last time there. Our first dinner was just ok, in spite of rave reviews. I voted for Indian and booked this. The pakoras were light & greaseless, the shrimp cooked to perfection. They specialize in Balti dishes and even provided a bowl of sauce for my spouse's tandoori platter.
