Amazing dining experience. Every course was a gustatory adventure. Can’t wait to go back.
If you are vegan and into local sustainable foods then this is perfect for you. The food was interesting, some really excellent and special courses. The seaweed-flavoured course was a highlight . The wine and non alcoholic pairing was a bit hit and miss. The service was quite fussy as there are so many courses, but if you like being waited on and after a more formal place for dinner it's suitable, but I myself felt a bit awkward. We were still hungry when we finished.
The food is mouth-watering. The staff are friendly. The seats are much more comfortable than the previous location.
Fantastic culinary experience! We have had the opportunity to eat at many top rated restaurants throughout the world and therefore we are hard to impress. Our experience at Alice was a definite WOW! The added touch was Chef Briana Kim herself bringing plates to our table and explaining the intricate preparations for each dish. I highly recommend this restaurant for the ambiance, service (thank you Bree) but especially the food. You won’t regret it.
Innovative and Fanatastic food and service.
Easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. All the courses were super creative, interesting, and delicious.
Creative menu. Courteous staff. Delicious tonka cream, rhubarb granita and the course with asparagus. Loved the oyster mushroom chocolate. Red and white wine was delicious. Interesting, surprising and well presented. A great foodie experience. Vegan.
What a wonderful 2 hour meal of vegetarian food. Every course was creative and visually stunning. We will return.
Our family of 5, all grownups, were at Alice for a birthday dinner. The blind 8-course meal was a fabulous adventure for us to share! We look forward to doing it again when there is a complete menu change...so the adventure can continue!
Went there with the BF within the first few weeks of opening.
I thought it was a quaint space, with a cool shelf full of fermenting stuff (like lilacs, if I remember).
You could see the kitchen and the staff working really hard, from, I would say, most places in the restaurant, but I would have loved to see them actually prepare the food, down to the cuts they were making, etc., but I was unfortunately not in a seat where I could do that.
Eating here makes me sad that I don't do more with my cooking, because the food was really interesting, new, and creative (at least for me). I'm undoubtedly excited to try out some of these combinations too (like seaweed marinated eggplant).
This is one of the v few restaurants I've been in where I don't think I could do this at home.
Thanks for the food!
The best food I've ever had. This is my second time having Chef Briana Kim's delicious food and each dish is an experience to its own. Lots of surprises, fantastically creative, and splendid drinks paired with each course.
The only thing I'm left wanting is to get the wine list for what we tried while there. I'll see if I can contact someone to get that information.
I've already told many people about it and I know of at least one couple who will be making a reservation shortly. :)
The absolute best restaurant I been to in the world : )
Beautiful and delicious food that was only elevated by the attentive and thoughtful service. It was a wonderful experience.
This was a lovely experience. Everything that is not the food is understated, which is necessary, because the food provides a sensory experience that borders on spiritual. The service is professional yet genuine.
