A very nice restaurant with good service. Perhaps a little overpriced for the standard of food. Lots of staff in the room - too many for the number of customers when we were in - which we found a little intimidating. But we enjoyed the experience. Large Italian portions!

The red meat entrees, including the filet mignon and porterhouse steaks, were disappointingly served underdone, ranging from undercooked to raw, even though our orders were specifically for medium rare to well done. The service was satisfactory, which might have been aided by the fact that the restaurant was not crowded. However, an issue arose with our bill, as we were charged more than the prices listed on the menu.

The meal, Caesar salad, and staff were very good. Unfortunately, dessert was a fail. They served me a pistachio cheesecake slice that had been sitting on the dessert cart for so long that the sides hardened. I should have returned it, but I think I was in shock.

Felt like we were being judged for being younger (30’s) we sat for about 10 minutes before being offered a menu. The food was good but the portion was small and we left hungry. We choose this location because of the reviews and maybe it was an off night.

I don’t usually give reviews but the food/experience was so amazing that I have to give one. Everything was amazing! My 12 year old woke up the next day and asked to go back for dinner again.

10/10 Dining experience, Family owned business as mentioned one of the owners (woman) greeted me & my guest nicely at the door & kept friendly conversation. Our host (Seanie) was amazing made the experience memorable and very worth while. (Ben) as well made the experience quite pleasant gave great recommendations very professional! Will definitely dine here again !

From the minute we arrived to when we left, the staff was attentive. Our waiter Johnny was super nice and extremely attentive to all our needs. Went to dinner with my son and his dinner was great and so was mine. They were considerate to our need to eat and leave to catch our Broadway show. Highly recommend this restaurant

Delicious food! The service was truly outstanding for most of the meal. For some reason the waiter disappeared for about 45 minutes when it was time for the check. The bartender was also very good.

We had the best meal at this restaurant! The staff was attentive and fun and the meal was perfectly cooked. The staff also brought us small treats throughout the night and made it feel very special. This was a real NYC Italian dining experience in a great location

Did not live up to the reviews. Mediocre food, slow service. Restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived & we still waited a long time for drinks. Our entrees were just OK, and our server seemed to be in the weeds although there were very few other diners. Wouldn’t recommend or return.

The bread given seemed old and was very dry and crumbly. My food was good (pasta w/clams), but my husband’s food- not so much. He ordered chicken and it was pretty expensive. It was a la carte so only came with just the chicken. He ordered mashed potatoes on the side and was $14 for a small plate. The chicken didn’t really have any flavor and was dry. Mashed potatoes were just ok. The servers and atmosphere were great, but wouldn’t go again.

I organized a group dinner for a work event. Overall we had a very satisfying experience. The wait staff was very attentive and flexible with some varied arrival times. The service was great and the food was really good. Some of us enjoyed our dishes more than others. For those of us who ordered the lamb chops, prepared table side, we were thrilled. The portion was very generous, lamb was cooked perfectly. Some others weren't as thrilled with the lobster but no one was disappointed. The wine and appetizers flowed freely. We enjoyed having a long time to visit and never felt rushed. Overall, we were all really happy with our experience and if we return to the NoMad area we would definitely come again. Note: this is not the place to go if you have a tight budget (not too big of a concern for us, but could be for others)

My husband and I had terrible meals at Allora. The bread was stale, tasteless, and cold. It was served with butter in those little plastic tubs like you get at diners. Caprese Salad honestly looked like a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. It was flooded with balsamic and no basil. My husband's mushroom risotto was just ok. My rigatoni bolognese was just a step above Chef Boyardee. We opted to go elsewhere for dessert. Also, the waiter kept calling my husband "Boss" which was very annoying. Will definitely not be returning.

The food was incredible. Probably the best Filet Mignon I’ve ever had. And the mushroom risotto was out of this world. The service was 5-star. We will definitely be dining there again.

I had selected Allora because it had a "Lunch Three Course Prix Fixe Menu" for $49.95—WHICH CLEARLY INDICATED RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THAT MENU THAT IT WAS AVAILABLE "Monday through Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm—but, upon arrival on Sunday May 28th at about 2:30 pm, when I asked to see the Prix Fixe Menu I was curtly told "Not today!" I could have insisted but my companion and I were in a great mood having just visited the fabulous Museum of the Dog, and I didn't want to break that mood. The result is that our food, while quite good, ended 36% more expensive. Since there was only one other table occupied in the dining room my ratings for service, ambiance and noise level are quite meaningless, although, since there was carpeting throughout and upholstered seating, the noise level would probably be tolerable even if the restaurant was full.
