Service and ambiance was perfect, nothing to reproach there.
Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as I expected. I am picky when it comes to food so maybe that's the reason. Food looked good, looked amazing on the plates just the tast wasn't at all what i expected.
I would definitely recommend the atmosphere, is quiet and relaxing.
Lovely food and superb service. Set menu for lunch is quite delightful and good value. Nice wine list though really overpriced, in my view. Super service whilst being a nice Dublin bloke, who put us at our ease whilst serving us with the impeccability of a haute cuisine restaurant.
Be good to visit in an evening to check out the ambiance. We were alone for a good deal of the time we were there, not a big issue
Loved the funky dish ware too
Great little restaurant with some unique dishes. I loved the food and it was presented beautifully.
The service was fantastic with a lot of small touches that added up to a wonderful experience.
Recently renovated with a lot of new dishes and love the direction they’re going in. Will definitely return.
An early booking, service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We opted for the tasting menu and were not disappointed. After a tasty amuse bouchée, each course brought its own delightful taste surprise. A memorable meal - definitely going back.
We had a table of 4. We were seated beside the door which led to the toilets which was fine except for the draft. The food was all very well presented and tasty but there just wasn't enough. The portions sizes were what you would expect for lunch.
We had a lovely lunch at Amuse when visiting Dublin, upon recommendation of a friend who is from the area. The service was very good (although we would have liked the wine to arrive a bit sooner ;-)), knowledgable and friendly. The food (we both had a two-course meal) was absolutely excellent. We will certainly be back!
Overall I really enjoyed dinner here and would recommend. However, I felt the Paris to Tokyo tasting menu was a little repetitive in terms of flavours. And there was absolutely no justification for a hefty surcharge on both the Wagyu rump and the cheese selection ( a not very interesting choice from Sheridans).
Food was amazing, the portion sizes were perfect for a 9 course tasting menu. The best teaching menu I have ever had, because of balance of flavours, portion sizes and overall presentation. The restaurant its self could do with a refurbishing to be on the level of the green house. But overall very impressed with the service and food.
Amazing! Have been lucky enough to eat in a couple of michelin star restaurants but Amuse tops them all - it certainly deserves one. We dined there on Thursday night 3 August and opted for the 9 course tasting meal and every course was just bursting with flavours. Best meal ever and most amazing 4 hour food experience. Can't wait to return!
The restaurant is very stylish, with a sophisticated ambiance. White table linen and shining glassware. Service was excellent with great attention to detail. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding. Cooked to perfection. Great flavours, unusual combinations fused beautifully and presented so stylishly.
We will definitely return
Overall, I found Amuse to be a good experience, I was a little diissspoinyrd with my main course, due to the fact that Kimchi was added to my dish of Guinean fowl, as this is an extremely spicey hot addition I found it to be completely inappropriate and in my view was completely out of place with this dish. I did mention this to the waiter and he said he would inform the Chef!!
Amazing, Amazing. Everything about this meal was superb, superb food, superb wine pairing, superb service, amazingly friendly and helpful staff not to mention a great atmosphere. Not cheap but if you appreciate the really nice things in life this is the place to go in Dublin.
