Andiamo In Banca
Excellent! I loved the customer service and the food was amazing
Excellent service, cool location inside old bank. Ceasar salad was fine, bread was doughy, not good french bread for an italian place near SF. Nice olive oil/vinegar/garlic dip.
My chicken marsala was mid grade. Nice sauce but the chicken itself was stiff, so probably not fresh but frozen. Overall only 3 out of 5 stars.
Best resto in south city! Great staff !
Service was incredible and the drinks were great pours.
Best pasta around
Understaffed on Valentine’s but I think any other day would be great,. Food is pretty good
We had a 7 pm reservation on Valentine’s Day. We waited 35 minutes and were never seated and barely spoken too. The restaurant did not look that busy yet the table sitting behind us didn’t get silverware and menus for over 20 minutes. We ended up leaving and dining somewhere else.
Excellent - food outstanding and our service was amazing
Great wines at responsible prices
Calamari was not up to the mark and felt like it was brought out to us in a very rushed manner. The taste was nothing to write home about and definitely not with the $17.95
Main entrees and the service were decent. Overall, it was a good experience.
Cute place for dinner date. I just wish they would dim the lights a little more. Food was delicious. Fairly priced. Would definitely come back again.
Only in town for a short time but, the quality of food and service will make this a do over. Eaten here twice so far with perfectly prepared and presented food on both visits.
Very friendly staff. Ambiance is very elegant, nice and quiet. Food is delicious, especially the desserts! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Service was good and welcoming.
A few notes:
-Ordered wine but I didn’t get to taste it first to see if I like it before the full glass was served.
-Calamari was a little soggy.
-Bread was only offered by the middle of our main course. Had to ask for butter instead of being automatically served.
- Steak was underwhelming and sauce was not tasty, mashed potatoes were clumpy and vegetables were meh.
Ambience was good but will not return again because the price did not match the quality of the food.
The service was great, very attentive servers. The food was very good as well.
Outstanding service and tasty Veal!
For a Sunday lunch, it seemed rather quiet. When we arrived, there were two other tables of ~6 (both celebrating bdays, seemed to be finished with main courses), and a couple at another table (about done). The food was excellent but it seemed there was some miscommunication with the 2 floor staff. For the type of place, I assumed servers would be more aware of which chair ordered which entree. Naturally, we assured them it's ok and helped shift plates. Then... before our desserts were brought out, I was given the bill. Odd, but I tried not to think much of it. After a while the servers asked if there was anything else. I was caught offguard, I said we are still waiting for our desserts. She almost fell over herself profusely apologizing, she said she thought we had finished them. I told her not to worry, as we are not in a hurry and gives us time to chat. The desserts came out pretty soon after... with another apology that they did not have any spoons (really??). Overall: cocktails, appetizers, entrees, cappuccinos, and desserts were excellent. Service: while some hiccups, did not deter our experience. Will dine again.
Hostess and wait staffs are excellent. The place is beautiful and inviting.
The service was very friendly but I had to ask for a water glass a couple of times when our table did not have enough. I ordered the pappardelle pasta and I have to say it was horrible. The sauce was not flavorful at all and my homemade pasta had a chunk that was partially cooked and caked together. The whole dish was off in flavor and texture. My friend ordered the beef special (I can’t recall which type of cut it was) but it was chewy and tough. We did like the brussel sprouts. I’m hoping this was just an off night for them because I would like to see them do well.
Our party had a wonderful experience dining in Andiamo In Banca. One of my friends had the Pollo Piccatta and he said the chicken was really tender, juicy and full of flavor. My other friend had Fettuccine Alfredo With Chicken, she cleaned up the plate. I had the special of the night with Fried Pork Belly, Prawns and Raviolis. The pork belly pieces were thick and juicy and the prawns grilled to perfection. The only minor improvement that I would suggest was that it would be even better if the raviolis were a bit softer. But that's just my preference. My husband had the Ahi Tuna and they were chunky and tender. I tried a piece and it's delicious. The staff members did an excellent job of attending to us frequently filling our water. With the high ceiling interior, it definitely helps minimize the noise level. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends.
I highly recommend the antipasto plate. It provided a wide variety of pre-meal delights: bruschetta, calamari, cheese, and meats. My wife ordered the teriyaki skirt steak and was very pleased. I had the rack of lamb and enjoyed the sauce that came with it. We will be back.
The food was alright except for the minuscule portions. It seems that the wait staff spent more time on the outer tables instead those of us in the middle. The service and food was not terrible but we will not be back.
Went for Valentines Day and the whole experience was amazing. This was our first visit and the staff was incredible. The parking is a challenge but this restaurant is well with it.
A nice place with solid Italian food. I'd definitely go back to try more items on the menu.
This was the worst food. We had an appetizer and four meals, bread. Nothing was good at all with the food. It was expensive and terrible. I would never go back there, probably not even for free. I even called the restaurant and complained. They had no manager or owner available to talk to me. Very poorly ran that night.
Great atmosphere and even better food! Really good value for 5 Star food.
Nice restaurant, good service, has some kitchen kinks to work out. Our last visit there was a few misses, I hope they can work out the kinks would love to see this restaurant be around for a while
There was four of us for dinner and we all enjoyed our meals. Each had something different and they were delicious! Dessert was fabulous too!
Italian is one of my favorite cuisines so I’ve been wanting to try this place since I’ve heard of its existence last year and saw the great reviews online. For my birthday dinner with my family, I suggested we come here so I can finally get a chance to taste their food. I ordered the Calamari and the Burrata to start and both were decent. For my main dish, I got the Bolognese - this is usually my litmus test for an Italian place, and it was just meh, sad to say. The rest of my family got the Alfredo Fettuccine and NY Steak and their meals were much better than mine. Since I was not too excited about my dish, I only ate a few bites from it which gave me room for some dessert. We got Panna Cotta, Tiramisu, and Salted Caramel gelato. Unfortunately, major fail for the first two desserts I mentioned. So I definitely do not recommend getting those two. The gelato was good; it made me wish I just got gelato instead. Lastly, the service we got was very lackluster. The gentleman always seemed in a hurry and was not paying enough attention so I had to remind him about the bottle of sparkling water we ordered and butter my mother requested. I really wanted to like this place but tonight’s experience was a big letdown.
People there were very nice and accommodating . Can’t say enough about their service . Loved the mussels . We will be back
Third time here and we had a great time. Our server was very professional and patient with us as we were a group of 4 and had a lot of catching up to do. It was not very busy, there was a big football game at the same time. We tried a flat bread special, pizza, meatballs, and two pastas. We also had the panna cotta and the lava cake. Both real good
The food is good but a little expensive for what you get. A party of five including a child with no wine, just 3 cocktails each came to over 240 dollars without tip. My biggest complaint, was one of the waiters who grabbed my specific dish from the waitress who was serving our table, to only show my dish (sea bass) to a large party sitting next to us. It was rude and the he literally showed it/put it in front of the other table to breath on. My wife and others already had there plates so I had to wait for this waiter to parade my food. Btw...this same waiter was also bragging about his uncle owning the place to that bigger party. What he did was really rude with no consideration for the actual guests.
All of us enjoyed our lunch. This is a good place for gathering
perfect place for an early friday night dinner! The wait staff was excellent and they let me play with the 'vault' (very briefly of course).
Great ambiance with high ceilings, big windows and linen tablecloths. I had the homemade fettuccine with clams and my friend had a marguerita pizza. Both fabulous. Caesar salad dressing was not as creamy as I usually like it but other that that, it was a great experience.
Very delicious food and our server was great! The skirt steak and salmon dishes are well-worth trying!
Consistently delicious food. Had dinner with 3 girlfriends the other night. Two are vegetarians and they loved the bruschetta, endive salad and sage-butter raviolis. The spaghetti and meatballs was simple goodness. I had the skirt steak that was cooked just as I requested. Chocolate molten lava cake and gelato topped off the great meal. Great wine and cocktail menu too. Service was 5 stars.
The best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. My new go to place. Great attentive service I had the spaghetti Bolognese, 2 had the veal & another had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. All were excellent.
Andiamo is amazing! The building was great. Dining in an old bank, being able to reserve a private room in what used to be the vault, such a great idea! The food was even better. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Excellent hospitality. Food was on point and delicious. We will be back!
