Food a bit bland, loads of prefab rather than handmade, and the pizzas are far from “hand tossed” as claimed on the menus. Most dishes come with extra sides — either salad, soup or a meaningless dish of penne with marinara sauce. Lots of food for the money, though.
Outstanding food and excellent service in a very appealing atmosphere.
Wonderful neighborhood spot. Wish we would have tried sooner!
A very small venue. Tight seating. Seated 30 minutes after our scheduled reservation. Food very good but other factors will force me to think twice before I return.
Stopped at this cute little place and had the BEST food! Service was great as well. I would highly recommend it.
Always great food & service. Large portion sizes mean you also get a take-home meal. Staff & owners are very friendly and caring. Menu items are as good as your Italian Mom would provide. Even though Tony has retired Sam & Nan have proven able to carry on the wonderful tradition. It is a tiny, quaint, lovely and convenient neighborhood restaurant. We dine there often. BTW, they have excellent pizza and carry out service.
This is a great neighborhood place; reasonable prices, good food and good feel
Food was excellent. Staff was friendly. Small dining room but nice place to eat.
Great food and the service was really good!
The food is very good. However, the service is terrible and really put a damper on our evening. We had to ask for basic things (silverware, cups for kids lids, extra bread) several times. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. We were also celebrating a 50th birthday (which we let the server know about) and didn't receive any special consideration for this event. We are local and would like to come back again for the food but will think twice because of the bad service.
Great, welcoming family atmosphere! We always feel at home.
The marinara tasted a bit different. Although it was very good, it was different.
Normally it seems to have more onion and tomato pieces in it.
This is our neighborhood favorite. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. I was pleased to discover during our last visit that the pizza is even better than ever. The crust was amazing. I'm glad that we bought more pizza than we could eat that night because now I have lunch.
Go to Antonino's.
Excellent food and outstanding service. We were fortunate enough to sit outside and enjoy the evening with an authentic Italian pizza, pasta and salad. Excited to go back and try more items on the menu. Also, you MUST save room for the homemade tiramisu!
It was 88 degrees in there and we were too hot to even talk. We tried to eat quickly and get out. Not the fun night out planned at all.
We had an enjoyable dining experience!!!
Great local find
Chill, lots of laughs.
Antonino's is a great long-time local place that La Grange is very lucky to have this establishment. All the comments on Yelp for what to order are bang-on, Pasta Con Matarocca. Wife loved the Tiramisu you've got to get that at the end if you like.
Calamari and bread were excellent, main course was ok. Not a fan of the sauce. Service was excellent! Would go back but order totally different
Great food and service - a little expensive for what was ordered but it is in an upper class area so I am sure the local clientele can handle those prices.
Love this place!
The food was awesome. It was a quiet and intimate meal.
We had a wonderful time and their homemade pizza was great. The only negative I would say is we were on our way out and sat at a table for 4. Three people were put at a table that if it were me I think it would be a stretch for three. I may not want that tight of a fit. I do not know if they made it. They asked if they could have our table, but don’t know how it turned out.
Excellent food. Neighborhood staple
The calamari was so good. Very tender inside, crunchy outside! The minestrone was delicious, full of veggies! The pasta was ok . Could have used more sauce. Our first visit. Will definitely go back
Everything was good!
This is a great neighborhood place; good food and a great value
A very quaint neighborhood Italian restaurant with good food, friendly people and a folksy dining experience. We love this place!
The staff is so friendly. The hostess remembered us and greeted us like old friends. That makes all the difference. Love this place.
I would have given 5 stars but our waitress failed to give me and my friend our soup. Instead of eating the soup with the meal we asked to take it home. It wasn’t until I was almost home that I realized that I didn’t have my soup. This is the second time this happened.
This is our regular spot. Recommend the pizza!
Awesome quaint feel in the restaurant. Antipasto was good and Tomatoes Caprese as Well. Pizza was good. I give it a Four and a Half. Love the old fashion feeling of the restaurant. I will return. Very Friendly Staff
This is a great neighborhood gem. The only thing better than the food was the courteous, attentive and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place highly.
Very disappointing. How did it ever achieve number 1 rating in western suburb dining?. Have eaten at several west suburban restaurants far better then this. Children at every table, food was served warm, not hot. Wine was acceptable. Will not be returning, will not recommend to others.
This is a great neighborhood place. Probably the best pizza in the western suburbs. Not a fancy place just happy to see you
Love Love Love! Great food Great Service.
The food was very good; if you get calamari (which is excellent) maybe ask for extra sauce. We don't overdo it but we ran out before finishing the appetizer. Lasagna and tiramisu were excellent. Shrimp with pasta and broccoli was very good. Restaurant was full but noise level was still moderate. Great "family owned vibe." We went on a Friday night and our server was definitely hustling - it was challenging for her because we all ordered salads and the restaurant ran out of lettuce . . . but she brought us soup. Overall, I will return.
Food was delicious. The service just OK. The server spilled dressing all over the table and on my husband’s pants. Sad part she didn’t even notice.
