Our server was very nice however my order was incorrect. Ordered burger medium done with no fries but Caesar salad. Burger was ‘rare’, came with fries, and no salad….. Place is very outdated and parking lot has not been maintained. Lots of potholes and bumps and you have to walk all the way around the property to gain entrance to lobby/restaurant.

We sat for 20 minutes before anyone spoke to use. We had to get someone to find us a waiter. People coming in after us had food before we ordered. They were understaffed. They brought the wrong fries. My medium burger was mooing at me. I ate it anyway because the waiter didn’t come back . A simple meal took 1 1/2 hours. I have eaten there before and it was good. I hope it was a one off.

The service was very good in the almost empty restaurant where we had brunch. The food was all right but nothing special. For example, we ordered avocado toast that was a few slices on a dry piece of bread. The decaf coffee tasted burnt but the egg and yogurt dishes were ok. We needed a place to hang since we were early for a flight at Sea-Tac and this Marriot restaurant fit that need to linger just fine.

I made a reservation on open table for a Thursday evening at 6:00pm. It was not necessary. There was plenty of room and the restaurant was clean and quiet. My server spoke very little English but we were able to communicate effectively. ( I never get upset when someone from another country wants to work). I ordered the roasted beet salad. It was perfect with a light citrus dressing. The server even gave me the option of a half portion since it was a big salad and I wanted to try other things. I also had the prawns and crab cake. The prawns were large and tasted fresh. The crab cakes were OK but had way too much filler. I finished with the blackened Ahi. It was disappointing. Not sashimi grade. It was stringy and even a little chewy. Ahi should melt I. Your mouth. I finished with warm apple crisp topped with vanilla ice cream. It was excellent and made me forget about the Ahi. I would eat there again, just skip the Ahi unless they get a better grade of fish.

We had been traveling from Asia and were exhausted and wanted a nice dinner and then our beds. Talitha was our server and she was so sweet and took great care of us! My husband had the soft shell crab sandwich and made short work of it. He loved it! I ordered the surf and turf and ordered my filet medium and it was a bit over cooked but tasty. The food was a little high in price but not extremely so. Highly recommend if you are staying at this hotel and don't want to travel 30 minutes into Seattle for dinner. It's a pleasant spot with nice drinks and a reasonably priced wine list right off of the lobby.
