Really brilliant meal for my partner’s 30th birthday. Staff were brilliant and helped make it a great experience - including a free drink - which was hugely appreciated. Food and drink were also superb to top it off! Definitely recommend.
Been here several times, usually when going to the Meunier Theatre nearby. Always enjoyable, Levantine food with interesting and unusual twists, very fresh and tasty, good portions and pleasant service.
Delicious food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere! Highly recommend the whipped feta dip and fried squid.
I love this restaurant, and have also enjoyed the countrywide delivery service when away - it’s still hard to get decent vegetarian food in many parts of the country and it’s an excellent service. But better still in the restaurant itself. Fabulous food, lovely buzzy atmosphere and lots of ventilation!
Sitting outside was great- the french doors of the restaurant were open so you spilled in to the street and there wasn't a cut off between indoors/ outdoors. The service was friendly, approachable and prompt. Between 5 of us we ordered one main item each with two portions of dip, two portions of potatoes (they'd run out of tabbouleh) and a hispi cabbage. They were all delicious and the half chicken on a bed of garlic sauce was really yum.
Really great. Plus lots of vegetarian options. Most of the food was excellent. Didn’t give it 5 stars as a couple of dishes (the haloumi was soft and corn quite watery) were disappointing. Only other minor negative was that we had a table outside - great to be under cover and with heater - but we were on stools and the floor on one side of the table was sloping and uneven. Ask for a table that is not on the edge! Despite these negatives, would definitely go back.
Fantastic food, great staff and a wonderful ambience in the middle of bustling Borough Market.
Small food portions for the price. But tasty cocktails, and food
The service was exceptional from entry. The staff welcome my friend and I warmly. They helped us celebrate her birthday by bringing a dessert plate as requested before. A lovely experience.
My first visit and it was great! The good was delicious, although a little bit pricey, but it was a perfect location to have a catch up with a friend.
Lovely food for sharing with friends. Nice to see Borough Market area busy again.
A great place to enjoy the bustle of Borough Market and taste great food. The Turkish coffee is outstanding too.
Had lunch at Arabica. Never been before. It proved to be a good choice. Really good food in a lively setting with very good service. Will definitely go again.
A favourite lunchtime place ...excellent wine from Lebanon!
The service was ridiculously slow.
Waited for everything.
Really good food and service for a family celebration
Food magnificent as ever. Good Lebanese wine and friendly service.
Great atmosphere and service and excellent mezze.
Lovely food, service and atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend.
Service and welcome should be improved. Some dishes were over cooked. Prefer the Kings cross site.
Not for those who know and appreciate Middle Eastern food but more for novices who just want a taster. Extremely overpriced (£3.50 for a single small kibbeh which was over fried). Service was mediocre. Portions were very small and not correlated to the Middle Eastern cuisine’s concepts of quality and quantity at all. Not recommended.
better lay out of tables due to covid actually makes this an even more fun experience. Food is delicious, great choices for everyone and affordable prices, loe it here.
This felt like we were being served by people who’d never eaten in a restaurant before themselves. Rushed from the minute I arrived, this felt like a fast food restaurant. Food was tasty but not cheap and it felt like they wanted us out as quickly as possible.
- As soon as I arrived I was told what time I had to vacate the table;
- My friend was late, as soon as she got her drink we were asked what we wanted to order;
- Food then arrived within about 3 mins;
- Pitta thrown on the table;
- When we asked to order another pitta we were greeted with a look of horror as clearly this wasn’t the job of the person bringing the food to the table;
- waitress tried to take plates away when we hadn’t finished the food on them;
- We were asked what dessert we wanted whilst the plates were being cleared;
- Stood over us with the card machine when the bill was brought;
It wasn’t as if we’d over stayed our allotted time slot. All I’m all quite amateur and as I result I felt quite ripped off. Won’t be back.
Food was delicious, all so fresh and the menu was full of amazing choices to pick from! Will definitely be back.
Great food, huge portions (we had 2-3 dishes per person and had to get them to bag some up to take home) and good value for money.
The front walls had been folded back so the restaurant was well-ventilated (this was in early September on a warm night - hopefully the ventilation will continue to be good as the weather cools).
Staff were helpful and courteous. A great meal.
Really interesting menu and well delivered. Some portions could be a wee bit bigger (e.g. the chicken dish). Nice staff and atmosphere.
Nice food. Lots of small dishes that make it great for sharing with friends family style. Hummus & falafel fab. Fresh baked pitta bread you can order per piece. House red/white/rose around £32. Only thing not value for money was the sauces £1.50 for a tablespoon of hot sauce!! Why bother…
Delicious food. Great service. We’ll be back.
Great setting right on the edge of bustling Borough Market. Smashing staff, AMAZING meze. Reasonably priced! 3 meze, lemonade and to die for baclava, mint tea =£36!!!!!🤪🥰
The food here is outstanding! It's fancy-ish mezze so everything is designed to be shared. Every dish I've had is incredible. My top recommendation is the Lamb Adana Kofta- unreal!
The food is great, but the prices are pretty steep for such small portions, especially the mezes.
Love the food here, nice atmosphere. 4 stars a couple of the new vege/vegan dishes lacked taste. Sad that the fatoush salad has lost its place , loved that before.
Would go back again.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Food was great - very tasty, lots of choice on an exciting menu. Drinks were expensive - £30+ for a bottle of Gavi?
Front of house needs a course in people skills - he is definitely in the wrong job, would make a great bouncer
Fantastic food and great service in a great environment. What more do you want??
Nice spot with creative cocktails and excellent small plates. Highly recommended the squid!
Good food and setting. I liked the many vegetarian options. Friendly staff.
Had booked a table as part of a day out in Borough Market to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday. We arrived 5 mins early (our booking was for 3pm) to a quiet restaurant but were still asked to wait until out booking time outside and out of the way. We where invited in, most tables were empty. After a couple of minutes the waiter arrived to take our order, we order a bottle of wine and he seemed surprised we needed more time to order food. 2 mins later the waiter was back to inform us, with no apology, which menu items were unavailable. Two of the items we intended to order so after a couple of minutes we decided to leave. We explained why and still not a sorry just an OK. Very disappointing will not be going back. We need in a mush friendlier venue just round the corner with delicious food, and fabulous staff.
Great food. Nice location, great atmosphere. Cocktails look great!
