Food was outstanding
If the place were in New York they’d be giving somewhere like Frenchette a run for their money.

Exceptional food and service, our server genuinely cared about selecting a bottle of wine we would enjoy.

This was our first time to Arlo and it did not disappoint. The service is impeccable. Visually, I could not find anything wrong with the place--it hit all the right notes for me. A very clean mid-century modern vibe with even some elements of the 20s and 30s (I am not an expert). Loved the casual feel and very much appreciated the use of reusable towels rather than paper for drying your hands in the washroom.

The food was excellent. We had an appetizer of beef tartare and a main of baseball-cut steak. We enjoyed our food very much. My husband had the apple pie with cheddar for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed that, too.

The selection of beer and wine is definitely different and for the true enthusiast.

The music was good but a tad too loud in our opinion.

I would absolutely recommend going, and we will definitely be going back.

Incredible experience. The space is well curated and thought out, as is the menu and wine list. Nothing is out of place. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the precautions they are taking are rigorous.
Truly one of my favourite spaces in Ottawa, and hopefully a staple of the dining community for many years to come. I cannot wait to go back.
