This is one of my favourite brunch menus/places in the city! Great food and service! Love the variety and New York style feel! The French toast is amazing! Same with any of the bagel towers ..... also love the club salad (comes with crispy chicken)
It was a birthday dinner and the team didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing as was the service (thank you Shauna). The decor was beautiful and enhanced the experience. We had the special of the short ribs and the branzino with Matzo ball chicken soup to start. Don’t be fooled by the plant based options that they offer- they taste better than the meat or dairy options. We will be back to try more of the menu.
First time experiencing Arthur’s
Still working out the bugs in my opinion
Very attentive staff and knowledgeable sommelier
Fish was light in substance
I always have an amazing meal at Arthur's!! Go at lunch and ask for the best server Z!
We had heard mixed reviews before going to Arthur’s but decided to try it anyways. Caesar salad was terrible. If you’re going to do something table-side, you should have it perfected. It was generous in size but over dressed and weirdly spicy. The steak tartare was quite good but far from outstanding. I had the pasta special, a linguine with a mushroom cream sauce. I had to return it because it was dry (no sauce) and just warm. My friend had the veal chop which was chewy and not served hot. We waited one hour between our appetizers and main course. I would not return.
I like Arthurs and their service. My suggestion is to add more Gluten Free options to their menu.
We had the clam appetizer which too salty we sent it back, ceasar salad was wonderful and the tuna tartare was ok. Our mains were the branzino which was great, the clam pasta was also delicious but the prime rib was really not so good and tough. The service was great. The dining room is really nice.
Great food and service.
Couldn’t have more mess ups if your tried. Brought out salads for myself and my customers. All needed more dressing and anchovies. Asked and asked an waited over 30 minutes. Also one clients entree came with the salads. Second round of drinks took 20 minutes. Entree was very limited in size.
Staff was very friendly, but seemed completely overwhelmed. Had an 8pm reservation, and we got there at 815 (our bad), and were told our table was just being cleaned. We said no problem and had a drink in the bar. About 35 minutes later we get our table after asking twice. We then sit down and wait 10 minutes without seeing a server. So we left. Again, I stress that the staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, there just clearly were not enough of them to work the number of guests.
Didn’t like my food but my service was perfect and the place is so nice that I almost forgot food wasn’t fantastic
The atmosphere was enjoyable, the decor was that of a 5 star restaurant, but family/casual brunch oriented. Service was impeccable, our waitress Shauna was enthusiastic and helped us decide on our meals. Our dishes came out at a reasonable time, and the plating was very aesthetically satisfying; definitely a place for Instagram foodies. Would 100% recommend on trying one of their appetizer towers. A wonderful brunch experience, would definitely return!
Many things went wrong. Liver was impossible to eat and 2 out of the 4 main courses had to be replaced because of that. Those 2 main courses came long after the other 2 people were finished. So everyone ate at different times. Most fine restaurants would not charge for those 2 delayed entrees. Kale salad has one piece of Kale in it. The Caesar’s salad was not made at the table since it was keyed in correctly. Pretty place. Would love to go back but my husband refuses because of the service and the food. He replaced his liver with a pasta which was quite spicy. Wasn’t described that way on the menu but at this point he did not want to say anything.
Expansive menu. Something for everyone. Great Plant Based options.
The place is a bit of a hidden gem. Clientele well heeled and a touch pretentious but the staff amazingly warm and thoughtful. Food is big but our waitress encouraged us to share. The roof top patio is definitely great on a warm summer evening, and if it gets too cold they provide blankets.
Looking out onto the McDonald's across the seat was special. Had the prime rib and it was tough. Would not go back
Terrific evening—enjoyed by all
Asked to sit upstairs on the patio. Very nice day. Attractive restaurant full of well-to-do people looking for an elegant place to hang out and share a weekend meal. Menu was small but diverse enough for most people to find something they could eat. Prices are on the high side even for an expensive brunch. On par with cafe bolud or la banane. I ordered the pastrami hash with eggs over easy, a coffee and my friend had a club salad and a coffee. Our bill before tip was $60. I did want to get a bagel which I hear are good and for $3.15 per bagel, I would expect. If I wanted cream cheese it would be $5. Well that was steep but no, it was an ADDITIONAL $5 just for the side of cream cheese ... plus the bagel! Absurd and the server even acknowledged this and apologized. She then said that if we couldn’t afford that, she could bring butter. Incredible.
The club salad was good, lots of lettuce, endive, chicken, tomatoes, lardons, etc. the pastrami hash was extremely oily and had about 3tablespoons of oil at the bottom of the dish.
The wait staff hacked through the meal, we left irritated and
Excellent crab cake. Not inexpensive but wonderful
I’ll be back!!
Overpriced! 5 times wine mark up.
Caesar salad was not well dressed
Liver was unsatisfactory and was sent back. Apparently another guest in the restaurant hasent theirs back.
Pasta and clams over salted and sent back. New one brought the table less salt.
Not flexible with menu switching vegetables
Room was great. Food disappointing.
Our first visit there. Nor sure we will return
From the moment I arrived , everyone from the hostess who seated us to every staff member, probably most professional and caring service I’ve had in a long time
Great food , a wonderful evening!
Fun! Food was delicious and service good.
Second visit to Arthur’s and everything was amazing. Food, service and ambiance are everything you would expect from a Chase restaurant. Highly recommend. We will be back!
The restaurant was so hot! We asked if they could turn down the temperature twice but it still was uncomfortably hot. Food was great though!
Excellent cocktails.... fantastic food. Best crab cake ever! And we had wonderful service....very attentive
Granddaughter’s birthday - Excellent evening,
This is my 2nd time at Arthur’s. The first time we enjoyed it but there was an issue with the charge and bill and it was dealt with by management promptly, efficiently, and with such courtesy I was surprised.
The 1st time the restaurant was packed and we sat in the larger window room where we did find it noisy to talk and felt we had to raise our voices at times to hear each other. The food was great as was the service except for the error in billing.
Given the opportunity we went a 2nd time - wonderful! Our server and host were incredible. We felt like it was personal and that she knew exactly what Arthur’s was serving and how to best meet our needs.
I do recommend the lounge for eating as it is quaint and perhaps not as noisy as the larger room.
Portions: I left hungry
Check to see if the A/C has been repaired before going
Will I go back: Not likely.
So expensive. Like ridiculously so. $850 for two couples. The food was good but not worth the price. I had to send back my main because it had a huge hair in it. Love the room and idea but they are taking advantage. Won’t go back.
Amazing dinner served to us by awesome Geoffrey. Everything he suggested was delicious. The oysters, the crab cake, the Caesar salad. My chicken palliard was so tender. Will definitely go back and we will certainly put Arthur’s our regular roster in the neighborhood.
Beautiful restaurant. Great vibe great service but odd menu. From pastrami sandwich and matzoh ball chicken soup to a $68 dover sole. I think the owner cant make up his mind what he wants it to be. By the way the salt shakers were all empty and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention to resolve the problem.
Very good experience. Service was outstanding. Food was expensive; had a wonderful burrito and heirloom tomato salad to start—very large portion—and liver entree which was not too my taste. The room is very comfortable and hospitable, tables are not too close together, noise level is low. I will go again.
We both enjoyed the experience. Thank you.
Brought my good friend to Arthur’s for a Birthday brunch and had the pleasure of being waited on by Z. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and all the staff was amazing. Best overall service I’ve had in a long while.
pleasant as always menu choices difficult for several reasons
only one excellent server working
fine but not for fine dining and cost
lobster rolls good not great and priced too high for lunch
hamburger very thin and kraft cheese slice not exciting
cobb salad okay fried chicken not necessary
always difficult to make selections for lunch
been there 4 times like the space
great for meetings
Fantastic all around. Exceptional service, outstanding food and drinks, and great ambience. We left happy, full and wanting to go back.
All was good-service, food, ambiance. Had dinner in dining room and went to lounge after for a night cap.
Lovely service from Z and a beautiful brunch. Many thanks for a special Father’s Day brunch and my sons birthday brunch!!!
This is my second time at Arthur's. I am still impressed the service is top notch. The food is literally the best thing to come in contact with my mouth. Just superb. I will keep coming back and recommending.
