Bank can accommodate parties of 2 to 15 in the main dining room, private dining is also available at an additional cost (ask to speak to restaurant manager for details)
Chef Justin Grecco, has been an outstanding addition to our team, and brings many years of experience, local flavor, and culinary expertise to each and every dish. Signature items include our MiniJuicy Lucy, Blackened Ribeye, and our Grilled Sea Bass. Conveniently local in the heart of the financial district, 1 block from light rail and bus lines. Our waiter was great but they just seemed to be short staffed. I thought it would feel more intimate and upscale but it really felt just like a restaurant in a hotel lobby. The food was very subpar. The options were ok for how small the menu was but the food itself was lukewarm, not mind-blowing, and for the price I would expect it to be at least a little elevated. Another interesting thing is one of the other diners in my party ordered an iced tea and the waiter went to the concession area of the hotel lobby by the front desk, grabbed a Gold Peak, and poured it over ice. Overall, wouldn't recommend unless you were staying at the hotel, don't go out of your way to come here.

It took us over a half hour to place our order. It took an hour and a half to get our food. Staff was inadequate and blaming others for the issues. Food what great once we finally got it.

The worst restaurant and service ever! Do not go! Our waitress didn’t put our order in, we waited 45 minutes for a cocktail and then went to the bar ourselves. Our food did not come out together Abs 2 out of the 4 meals were never entered as an order!

Previous reviews in the past few months matched my experience. Cool setting, good value for food. Short staffing was felt. Menu items being "unavailable" was also prevalent. We were there after the Vikings game so that drew a larger crowd than normal on a Sunday. I sympathize with the restaurant industry right now so I can't be too harsh. I would go back as it's a fair value for the food quality.

An exceptional dining experience in the heart of downtown Minneapolis! The space is gorgeous, historic, and intriguing. The menu is everything you want, prepared exactly how you want it. If you're lucky enough to have Thomas as your server, you're in for a dinner of a lifetime.

I won’t go back. The food was ok, certainly not worth the price. The waiter just disappeared halfway through my meal and the chef served the rest of my meal (and beverages). I wanted the nice piece of Sea Bass that was on the menu a few months ago-it isn’t anymore. Very limited menu, slow/poor service, expensive. There are too many better options within a 3 minute walk.

No one was there but us at 6:00pm on a Friday. Waitress did not know anything about the menu - she said she was the breakfast server. No desserts. Server was hard to find when we wanted something. Overall, it was pretty substandard for the price. Wouldn't go back.

BANK is the restaurant of the Westin Hotel in DT Minneapolis. It was evident that they were understaffed and the servers and staff were struggling to keep up. With that said, once they eventually got to us, they were very attentive. The food is pretty good (we had the Pretzel Bites and the Burger) - nothing fancy, but tasty and good portions.

The setting for Bank is cool but the food and service didn't match it. Our server misread the label of the bottle of she brought to the table, didn't know how to open a bottle of wine, and then charged us for two bottles instead of one. I won't go there again...too many good restaurants nearby to waste my time.

Server was friendly, but the food took forever, even though we seemed to be the only people in the place and we told the waiter that we had a show to get to. Food tasted fine, but was entirely unremarkable. Also, why don't they have a sign on the outside of the building letting you know it's inside the Westin? We walked by in the freezing cold a couple of times trying to find it.

We went on game day. We were never told it was a buffet. They did allow us to order custom omelets. They were fantastic. Seemed short staff and had long wait for table even with the rez, but staff and food made the experience turn around.

Nice setting. Food was only ok for the price. Service was extremely slow, they seemed to have only two or three staff for the whole restaurant. We waited nearly 10 minutes at the host table before anyone came to check us in, then nearly 15 minutes before the waiter came by for our drink order.

I have never eaten at a restaurant where several members of the staff have told me what not to order. The host while sitting us said “don’t order the lobster Mac n cheese”. The server said, don’t get the wings, the burger is “just a burger” the “chicken is chicken.” I guess we walked in from the street into the hotel that the restaurant is in from a different entrance. I walked to the bar and asked if this was the right place because there was no signage. The bartender rudely just said “yeah”. Now we are standing in the middle of the restaurant wondering where the host stand is…nah I don’t need any direction. It’s ok. I then see it as far away as possible from where we were standing and ask the same bartender if that’s the host stand. “No, that’s the front desk of the hotel” but he didn’t point me in the right direction it was just “no you’re wrong, try again” It was bizarre. The bar staff was rude and the wait staff must have been in a feud with the chef. Either way it was not great. The food was serviceable but not great. Just bizarre
