The value and quality of food for Valentines Day was great. A little crowded and noisy but the room closer to the dior was a little cold but not as many people. All in all we really enjoyed the dinner.
My wife and I had a great dinner with amazing service tonight at the Barnwood Grill. Valentines having a limited menu and of course a lot more guests to serve we were more than satisfied with the quality and selections of appetizers and main entrees. The food tasted great and presented well. Our waiter and busboy gave exceptional service. Overall a great night. Thank you!
The food, service and atmosphere here are fantastic!
Love this restaurant! We took friends for their first time and they loved it!
It was our first time there, everything was quite good.
The food is always delicious and the owner and staff are fantastic. You will not be sorry when you go.
This was our second time at Barnwood Grill. Everything was amazing. Appetizers were great, dinner was delicious and dessert was amazing.
Our server was a little slow but friendly and got the job done.
Looking forward to going again. Highly recommend Barnwood Grill
We have been coming here for 2 years now and cannot say that we have ever had a bad meal or experience . The food is perfection and they will work with any needs you have . Always looking forward to come back .
Always a great experience coming here. Food is very good, wait staff and owners are very nice and accommodating. We come here all the time and will continue to do so...
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very comfortable for party of 6. We had a great time. Definitely would recommend
This restaurant has never disappointed. They have a wonderful vegetable soup and the entrees are varied and always cooked to perfection.
Had an early New Year's Eve meal here. Excellent food. Attentive service. Cozy atmosphere but lively as well. Highly recommended.
My husband must eat gluten free and they have many options for him to chose from. He especially loves the fact that he can get chicken wings!
We have been going to Barnwood since they opened and have never a bad experience. The food is always consistently excellent, the wait staff attentive without hovering around. Great New Years meal. We have our company Christmas party there as well. We will be back.
It’s a warm and inviting restaurant. The menu is good. We were just disappointed that our tuna tacos - though ordered rare by three people in our group - were all cooked. It’s a nice enough place but we weren’t blown away.
Great as always! Will continue to be regulars in 2020!
Christmas Eve dinner with the family, Barnwood Grill’s staff made it very special
Christmas Eve tradition and we were so disappointed in the quality of the food! They did a price fix and it was so, so, so far below their typical quality, have no clue why they bothered. I would have preferred they close for Christmas Eve rather than serve food that diminishes their reputation.
Food is excellent. Shrimp and grits, Kobe burgers, calamari were all a big hit with our group. Service was also stellar. The nicest people.
Great atmosphere. Excellent menu. Would go back again and we will. Thank you for a relaxing evening.
Limited vegetarian menu but enjoyed ambiance and fire place located mid way down the long dining area. Separate bar area a little noisy but overall a good experience.
Nice place, nice staff, the food was a bit pricy for the portion (at least for the pasta dish I had) but very good. The only issue we had was that our food was lukewarm. The vegetables especially so. We did not complain, but hot meals would have been better.
We have eaten here a few times, the food is very good, service is consistent as well. I was a little disappointed in the lobster bisque today as it had zero chunks of lobster, it was just a cream base. For 11 dollars I would expect more. We had a nice time overall.
We love eating at the Barnwood Grill. Thanksgiving was well organized and lively. I would have preferred table service as opposed to a buffet. Our main complaint is the noise level. Too many hard surfaces. The food was good with a nice variety.
I’ve had many good meals here, but Thanksgiving fell short as it does at many places. My mistake for going out. The food was mediocre this day and the servings of pie for dessert were laughable. I just wouldn’t go for a holiday again, but wouldn’t let this deter you from trying it any other time because their food is usually very good.
Food was delicious and the service was excellent!
With no hostess station it was difficult to know qhere to go to be seated. The man who came to greet us came from a seat at the bar with a drink in front of him and returned to drinking once our server sat us. Food sounded good but was very bland. I got a brisket burger, my wife got the lobster tacos. Neither was anything worth the price they charged. Not the worst, but will not be back.
We had a wonderful evening.
From sitting at the bar where the service could not have been better to enjoying the happy hour then dinner.
Just a great spot !!!!
we had the unfortunate experience of going to dinner for first time when a huge event was taking place in the general part of the restaurant. Noise was excessive and not conducive to casual conversation at table plus the group was distracting and frenzied. Our food did arrive in a timely fashion and our server was polite and pleasant. We ordered a burger and the tuna tacos which were tasty but nothing special. Not a great evening but may try again when the restaurant is not hosting a noisy event.
Great ambience, fantastic food and would definitely return. Well worth the drive from New York.
Great meal, fun cocktails. Love the decor.
Def need a reservation. Would go again!!
The food was delicious , the waiter was very attentive and accommodating and the atmosphere was busy and pleasant on a Saturday night. We will definitely return again and recommend to others
Our first time at Barnwood Grill exceeded our expectations. We were originally seated at a table for 2 near the bar and I felt it was very noisy and a "tight squeeze". They had another room that was totally empty and I asked if they could move our table and they happily complied. Our waiter, Roland was wonderful - haven't had that awesome service in a restaurant for a long time. A huge menu with lots of delicious options were available as well as many specials. I had a wonderful tuna tartar and my husband had stuffed, baked oysters with crabmeat for our apps. For dinner we had chilean seabass on sautéed spinach and a potato cake - yummy! Also, a ribeye steak with truffle mashed potatoes and jumbo asparagus. We declined dessert as we were full but Roland brought us a glass of "chocolate wine" which was yummy and unexpected. We will definitely return to Barnwood Grill..thanks for a great night!
service was great-waitress was very attentive. food was delicious and served in an unexpected way-sort of deconstructed which we liked. loved the decor. we live in Yorktown and have been to the one in Granite Springs and did not enjoy that one - this one is far superior. will definitely go back
From top to bottom solid. Greeted with a smile and sat quickly. Drinks and apps timely, followed right be entrees and dessert...spot on.
Our 1st fist to the Barnwood Grill - it is in a strip mall on the end -- parking a little tough on a Saturday.
We had 645 reservations, place was PACKED, we were seated about 15 mins late, but not a problem. Lovely table by the window and fireplace. Cocktails were great, nice choice of bourbons (I love a good Manhattan). Nice choice of appetizers, we went with the calamari and chicken tender wrapped in bacon (that one was a special) both came with a very tasty dipping sauce. For entrees we had 2 orders of the butternut squash ravioli, pasta is homemade and was perfectly cooked. Served with crushed walnuts on top (not overpowering, just enough). I had the skirt steak, was cooked perfectly medium as ordered.
Even though restaurant was crowded, we did not feel rushed -- we were able to space the courses out nicely. Good cappuccino at the end and a wonderful creme bule. We will def be back. A hats off to our server Drin, though he had multiple tables, was very attentive to each and always a smile.
Food is good, $12 martinis, and they spill a glass of red wine on your shoes for free. What more can I say.
I love this restaurant. Every time I come home to CT I enjoy coming here. I had my birthday celebration here recently and it was a great evening! EVERY single thing we ordered was delicious and our server was very attentive
I did recommend it to the people I work with. The appetizers all the way to desert were outstanding! The service was prompt and very helpful with menu questions.
