Barnwood Grill- Yorktown Heights

First time their service and food was very good I definitely will recommend this restaurant and will be going back I like to check out the happy hour

Food was only okay .. potatoes and veg were cold not even kinda warm , chicken was dry and over cooked .. App were grand nothing special. waiter just wanted used ordered and gone .. diff won’t bother recommending or returning to this restaurant

A tucked away secret... with a bar section made into a semi sports bar... food was very good (a little pricey)....

When we arrived, there was still a private party that was running late.

Despite a small setback, food and service was top notch.

We’ve been several times and everything anyone I our party has ordered has been amazingly delicious.

Food was delicious, service wonderful. It became a bit noisy when a party came in which took away from the ambience.

The restaurant didn’t look like much from the outside but the inside decor was welcoming and warm. The food was incredible and unique, very well flavored. The service was fast and attentive.

It was very pleasant but I found the food to be very ordinary and not very tasty. They offered no bread with our meal which was fine because I don’t eat it but I found it unusual.

1st time here and will definitely be back. The vibe was very energetic. Our server Nicola was friendly & fun. The food was delicious.

Our party of 4 was at Barnwood Grill to celebrate a birthday and everything was great! Couldn't ask for better service, the food was perfect and we had a great "first time" visit to Barnwood Grill!

The verdict for Restaurant Week? Disappointing. I had a hard time finding something I wanted to eat on the menu. Their prix fixe menu looked more inviting but it wasn't available bc of Restaurant Week. I started with the perogies. The smoky taste overwhelmed it & I had 1/2. My husband had thhe pork shank, which he said was OK. My pappardelle was in a mediocre brown sauce with slivers of beef. I had 1/3. The desserts were also so so. A couple at the next table was raving about the food. We couldn't believe it. I would go back to try their prix fixe menu, but this experience was pretty bad. Waiters did not come to check on us either.

The feel of this place is unique, I really liked the ambiance. The food was good although there were a few hiccups with our entree order. The staff was very friendly and professional, we stayed a bit late but everyone was understanding. Will definitely return!

We love the Barnwood Grille in Newton ,Ct and we’re delighted to hear they opened another location in our home area . The food is beyond delightful as is the appetizers and drinks . It’s really hard to get a delicious well cooked meal from start to finish but you can here .

Everyone was very attentive and prompt with our needs. Food was delicious and came out fast and hot, perfect since we had our 2 year old twins that were hungry and ready. Awesome first experience.

Elmond operates a great restaurant Mini pumpkin 🎃 stuffed w lobster 🦞 meat were seasonal and excellent
Beverages and service were exceptional

Every part of our dinner was lovely. We enjoyed our dinner with you, however we were seated next to a very loud group of people who only got louder as the night went on. The women had screeching exaggerated laughter so much so that I was surprised the windows didn’t shatter and every glass in the house didn’t break. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Food was skimpy only 3 green beans and one sliver of carrot on the plate as a side

We have been to Barnwood Grill a few times. The food is always terrific. We really enjoyed the wine as well. Great service. It can be loud, but they have tried to cut the sound down. Great job.

Food was fine but it was crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. Tables were very close together and the noise made regular conversation impossible. The food was good but portions were small. (Small like my 9 year old finished everything on his plate ordered from the regular menu.) The prices were higher than could have been justified given the rest of it. We aren’t likely to return.

Second time there that we had to ask for bread. I thought it should come when water and plates come.

Barnwood NEVER disappoints! Such a wonderful place to frequent! I recommend it to everyone I know.

We have friends that we dinner with whenever we can and this place is exactly half way for both of us.. and we will be back! Food was great, service amazing! Prices reasonable. This is our new favorite place!

Food and service was excellent. We took advantage of the Wednesday
pre fixed menu for 30$ and couldn't believe how much food was included. We all had enough food leftover for another meal . Looking forward to taking my husband.

Food was excellent. Service was good. Just a minor complaint that they were too quick to take our plate away. Several times we had to tell them we were still eating. But Brussels sprouts appetizer , shrimp grits and crime brûlée were outstanding. Friends had salmon and lobster ravioli and a goat cheese salad- all were delicious.

First time at Barnwood Grill for me and my family and we loved it. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The menu was diverse and the prices were great. The food was served to us really quick and it was delicious. The staff is always smiling and making sure everything is going well.
The chocolate wine from the house was the best way to end our dinner.
If your looking for a special experience and outstanding food, this is the place to be.
We will definitely be back.

Barnwood Grill is my new place to go. I've absolutely loved the environment. I and my friends went to Barnwood on Saturday and we had such a blast, including the food and service. I odered empanadas as an appetizer and Shrimp and Gritz as my entree and everything was delicious. My waitress was amazing and the service was absolutely satisficing. Also, their Gluten-Free menu is to die for. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

came here with my girlfriend and i had the paperdelle and my girlfriend had black squid ink linguini. Great food and great service.

Food was well prepared, service had a few bumps but overall an enjoyable dinner.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE PORK CHOP BECAUSE THE CHEESE ON TOP WAS TOO RIPE. I HAVE HAD THE PORK CHOP FOUR TIMES AND IT WAS NEVER LIKE THT BEFORE. THE CALAMARI WAS TERRIFIC. THE BREAD AND SPREAD WAS ASO DELICIOUS, AS USUAL.

Seems to be a popular spot, but both of our fish dishes were overcooked. My cod special was especially dry, and not particularly appetizing as the whole dish was yellow and brown. I think maybe the bar appetizers might be better.

One can only marvel at six people people eating a diverse meal - from salads to fish to pork chops - without anyone offering a complaint. They are doing something right.

The floor of the restaurant is covered with filthy, uneven carpets that you can break your neck on.
The bread is okay but not warm
the fish was abundant and fishy tasting.
the gluten free options are great.
The caesar salad was okay
the crime brûlée was awful
the waiters are nice

A perfect evening in every way. Service was outstanding and the weight staff extremely warm, friendly, and courteous. We are sure to return!!!
