Barzar lounge was a very pleasant experience. The owner/manager Aman was fantastic from the moment we walked in. The attention he gave to each and every table was very nice to see. The other staff were also courteous and very attentive. The food was excellent and the wine(recommended but Aman) was very good. We will definitely go there again.
We had a booking but they did not keep a table free. Waited for about 15 minutes but no one looked like they were leaving. Was very disappointed as we had a show to go to. The guy just kept on saying soon, soon. We had to go without dinner.
Great pasta and large serves
The food and service is pleasant, not amazing but a good place to go before the theatre.
Had the Seaford risotto which was very delicious and also barramundi fish and salad which was great also had been here before that is why we came back as we had to see a show at the national theatre and knew the food service as good
Staff looked like headless chickens most of the time. Overheard other customer's reservation was messed up, was overcharged by a girl who didn't know what she was doing and was working in trackpants. I added prawns to my steak- 4 small prawns for $6!! Friends meal was small for the price. Layout is squashed and was constantly getting bumped by people trying to squeeze past our table.

Restaurant is close to National Theatre where we going for 8.00 pm show. Booked table for 7.00pm and pre ordered food for 7.15pm. Arrived at 7.00pm but table not available so waited for nearly 20 min. Finally seated then waited for17 more minutes for food to arrive. None of our party of 3 were able to finish the meal in the time left. We were really disappointed. We have eaten at this restaurant often and the food has always been good but this experience was less than satisfactory, given the steps we went through to avoid the situation of being rushed. If you don't offer a reservation and pre order service then say so and peple can plan accordingly. The food was really good but we needed more time to enjoy it.
Having used OpenTable to make our booking for 3 and receiving a confirmation text we were disappointed on our arrival to find there was no table for 3 available and we were squeezed onto a table for 2! There was no explanation as to why there was no table available when we had made a booking. We ordered our meals promptly and waited 35mins and when our meals arrived one was wrong (they were "busy and short staffed"). We couldn't wait for another meal and opted to eat the one brought to us which we weren't charged for. The meals were average and the service was average too.
