Beach Pea Kitchen & Bar
Sunday brunch - good menu with some nice surprises and good prices. Kitchen completely overwhelmed when tables full. After waiting 20min for deserts we had to just cancel. Wine by glass price not nearly worth what you get. Wait staff friendly and quick, although didn’t know the menu.
A very relaxed and charming atmosphere with friendly service and a balanced menu. My fish was a bit dry but everything else was very good. I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner - you will be happy.
We had multiple dishes and they were all outstanding
Wonderful to be able to make a reservation. High standard of cuisine and service. Prompt but not pushy. Dine inside or out. Only thing missing was non alcohol beer.
We were initially seated in one one of the booths ... we did actually request not to overlook Montague St. However, the booth was almost claustrophobic so we were able to be seated at a table against the wall. The seats in the booth and against the wall are rather straight ... a slight angle would be more comfortable and relaxing. We ordered a non-alcoholic drink to begin with and it seemed to take a long tome to come. The food was excellent! However, the Budino didn’t seem especially fresh ... too stiff. We have had this in San Francisco and I have made it myself and a slightly softer, creamier consistency would have been nicer.
Excellent experience. Nice menu selections. Service was upbeat & professional. Pleasant surroundings. Food was outstanding. Look forward to returning.
Amazing food. Very charming ambiance. Lovely cocktails. Just couldn’t have been better
Fantastic space, great bar and wonderful food. Would recommend.
The server was nice and eager to please but not well trained -- not her fault, but yours. The food was tasty and interesting, and showed some nice creativity even if execution was uneven. The evening on the deck was pleasant and provided an agreeable ambiance. I was glad we went and would come back next time in Lunenburg to see if Beach Pea has progressed.
Amazing view from the patio, food was spectacular!
This was an absolutely amazing dining experience. 😊 The special for the evening (baked oysters appetizer) was out of this world! The amazing people working there were all very friendly, helpful, & prompt. The drinks were great and the food phenomenal (we had the burger & the shrimp pasta). Seriously can’t say enough great things. Their team worked well together and allowed for us to sit & enjoy or meal... + the ambiance was so gorgeous! Definitely gave me inspiration for my own home! ✨ Thanks to the front & back of house employees who made this a fantastic evening! 11/10- would hiiiiighly recommend! ✌🏼💕🌼 Happy dining!
I was sadly disappointed in the main course. I had the lobster pasta and found 4 lemon seeds and crunched down on a couple. It was rather off putting. The calamari was not crispy but the sauce was delicious. The butterscotch dessert was a little too salty.
Definitely not up to Martine and Sylvia's excellent standard.
We dined here with my in-laws and boys aged 6 & 9 on June 28th. I enjoyed a delicious Ceaser and my mother in law a glass of wine that was so small, I was shocked! Maybe a few ounces. Wine selection left a lot to be desired. The portions overall were small, like most finer dining areas. 3 of us had the lobster tegretelle (? Spelling). Each of our portions had huge differences in the amounts of lobster. Our boys enjoyed the lamb and the bacon carbonara, I tried some of both and they were delicious as well. Will I rush back ? No, but I can't say I won't done here again as there were many many other things Id like to try on the menu.
It was a pleasant but noisy restaurant. We shared riz de veaux which was not a very large portion and a salad which was a large portion. The tables are a bit too close together which increased the noise. The patio is beautiful but it was raining.
Veal sweetbreads were very good.
Very friendly and professional service
First time at the Beach Pea Kitchen & Bar and we loved it, nice location, very kind staff and (most important) very good food with a nice selection. It wasn't for sure the last time.
Great food, service, selection of local wines, and view from the porch. Seemed loud inside but we didn't sit there.
We enjoyed our visit as part of our holiday to Canada. We had a very enjoyable meal and would certainly visit again should we return to the area.
The food was excellent.
The pasta dishes were filling and the desserts were amazing. Great place for dinner
The renovation of the former Magnolias is tastefully done and very welcome. The food is excellent as you would expect from such a talented chef as Martin Salvador. I highly recommend the lobster tagliatelle with tarragon sauce. It was a perfect balance of noodles, lobster and sauce. For appetizers, the oysters were delicious as well as the buffalo mozzarella. Beach Pea combines the ambiance of a bistro with the service and food of a high end restaurant. I would recommend Beach Pea without hesitation.
The food was amazing and I love the new look. So well done!!! Thanks for another great culinary adventure.
Our food was delicious, drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was so relaxed. It had a modern sea-side vibe with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!
I had the Avocado Toast with poached eggs - overall it looked lovely, the eggs were perfect, but I was underwhelmed by the flavor. For me, not enough avocado and the hollandaise didn't seem to come thru. I hate to salt & pepper in a restaurant, but it seemed to need something... Everything else was top notch on a beautiful Saturday sitting on the patio.
Great place. Charming interior. Friendly staff and nice food. The octopus was cooked perfectly, which is hard to find!
Loved the energy of having a mixed crowd - people of all ages, enjoying great food in a neat little spot.
