I have been to the Oakville location a few times and food is always fresh and taste good. This last visit the server had issues getting our orders correct. Wife asked for hot water and lemon. Server forgot and we had to remind her. We ordered nacho as a appetizers and asked for jalapeño to be on the side as my wife and daughter can’t eat spicy food. When nachos arrived the jalapeños were mixed in with the nachos. We didn’t bother mentioning it but in hindsight we should have. Other then that it was a good experience
The spinach dip was delicious, loved it with the warm pretzel sticks!
Great service and delicious food. Super spot for a holiday lunch!
Hi. Beertown is a good restaurant -- the lunch we chose was chicken pad thai. It was somewhat lukewarm when it arrived at our table and all in all, it wasn't too bad. I did provide the restaurant with feedback that it could have been much hotter. They care about quality and their customers.
The drinks are great, lots of choices in for beer (makes sense right). The best thing is that the staff is really knowledgeable about beer and based on your preferences, they can creat a custom paddle for you. The food is good not life changing but a good pairing for the beer
Great food and service! We liked the won tons and calamari.
We will definitely going back.
The food and service were excellent. Best suited for a group where you will be noisy and don't mind the noise all around you.
Great service. Totally enjoyed our evening. Would go again.
My friends really enjoyed the meal but my order was lukewarm and underwhelming. Service and bar selection were great.
Service is always incredible. Staff go above and beyond to meet your needs, and there’s always a manager on duty to come check on you as well. Address any issues quickly and without complaint. Customer service is clearly a top priority. Everyone is friendly, courteous and seems happy to be there. Food is fresh and delicious; never had a bad meal there. You can tell that there is a lot of love, passion and care that goes into every single plate served.
A very good variety of beer and beer related drinks. Food was great. It is noisy. Good selection of gluten free food and beer. We enjoyed our dinner.
Food was great, service was great but noise levels are always so much it’s hard to talk to the person beside you.
Food was good, however the noise level was off the charts, could hardly hear the company at my table.
My colleague and I are were able to grab a quick bite during our lunch break. The prompt service was definitely appreciated.
A little on the pricey side, but food was good. Service was great!
Super noisy though. Had to yell across a table of 4 only people to be heard an could not have a conversation. Too many TV's were distracting for kids.
Food was very good and service was quick and personable. The restaurant was very loud and it was hard to hear conversations and even the server. I would go back!
Pretty great experience -- we went with the family and our young son (1 year old).
The best part of the night aside from the wide array of beer selection was the staff.
They were very attentive + knowledgeable.
The food was 4/5 stars -- overall the food was pretty good but nothing truly stood out; just standard well done pub fair.
I found the deep-fried items a bit overly oily.
My rice bowl dish was ok only. The freshness of the ingredients in a meal of this type is crucial. Others in the party enjoyed their flatbread and eggs benny dish.
The layout is very interesting with all kinds of pockets to create more atmosphere than might be found in a wide open Resto of this size.
The too plentiful beer list reminded me of the ludicrous wine book at Via Allegro. It would make sense to have a smaller version available as well with the 50 most popular choices.
Second time here. First was on the patio. This time inside. It’s extremely noisy with the cement ceilings and everyone packed in and talking. The tables are too small to accommodate the paddles of beer you can order and food. The food was fine - my dates brisket burger - the brisket was very fatty. My Carolina chicken sandwich was fine. The beer menu is too large considering you don’t know any of the beers. It’s fun to try once but a bit of a pain to subsequently order when the beers aren’t well categorized. Did I mention it was noisy? This doesn’t help decide on beers. The TV screens with sports might be good for sports events but otherwise just adds to the noise levels. We were seated on a corridor where ALL the food and drinks come out of. It was far too busy for my preference. Service was adequate but not what I would call service. Advice on beers was nonexistent. She was too young and didn’t really care. So........if you can patio it it’s quieter or get a table away from the kitchen corridor. Don’t take anyone on a first date as it’s too loud to conveniently chat. Would I go back for a third time? Most likely as Oakville is starving for casual places like this. But that will be the deciding visit from then on. Hope this helps anyone considering going.
Although our meal took a very long time we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. It was very good.
One of the supervisory staff came to apologize about the length of time for our food and that the bill would be adjusted. It was not adjusted in any way.
It was so extremely loud we could not have a conversation so we paid our bill and left without bringing it up.
Wayyyyyy too loud. I had a sore throat from yelling to be heard. I prefer going somewhere where I can talk easily why is it so loud there???
I expected a good beer selection and wasn’t disappointed. What I didn’t expect was such a great menu. It was difficult for the four of us to settle on something and we ended up sharing our mains and a few apps. The foot long Wagyu hot dog special was amazing. Brisket platter and Carolina chicken sandwich also recommended.
Made a reservation, were seated quickly, and the server was attentive, helpful. Food is good- I had the fish tacos. The focus is the beer - great selection and sampling options and the staff is knowledgeable about what they’re serving.
We waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends. Also, the wine selection was poor.
Good food with extensive beer menu. Energetic loud atmosphere
We had a reservation and were seated close the door...kinda not cool. If I go to the effort to make a reservation I should have a good seat. I stared at the brick wall the whole dinner. And the free birthday brownie was ridiculously small. A joke. Make it bigger. Seriously. Overall food was great, service was great, location great.
Our 5th time in 10 days so something must be good:) see you in September 🇬🇧
Great service and nice ambiance. Kitchen was a tad slow, but everything else made up for that small issue.
Have been twice to the new Oakville location and it was again an enjoyable experience out on the patio. The restaurant inside is still quite noisy, not sure if this can be addressed at all, while I realize the ambiance is about fun and the sound helps that, it is difficult to have a conversation inside - so might need to adjust that for when the patio is closed!
First time to Beertown. We were all very impressed with the lively atmosphere and the servers honestly seemed happy to be there. Extremely good service friendly. Excellent Pierre menu with my husbands favourite bell words on it. Good wine selection for those of us that do not drink beer.
My tuna salad bowl was a disappointment. The individual ingredients were all good, but the chunks of mango and tuna and avocado were way too large and the dressing was bland and not enough of it.
Always pretty good 🙏🏼
It was our waiters first day and he was amazing!!! Great job.
Need to fix the menu for temporary beers. Have to look at the menu and then a chalk board far away just to see what kind of select beer there is. Other than that, place is perfect. 1st time for me , i will be returning.
Your burger- AMAZING!!! :P
Love BeerTown, and this is our third visit to this location. Service overall continues to be a bit subpar, especially compared to other locations. Confusion with drink orders, having to ask for water 3x. Hopefully just growing pains.
My husband had the tuna bowl and he loved it. The GF mac and cheese was ok. It could be cheesier and the chicken was dry. I loved loved the spinach and artichoke pot. The service was amazing. We showed up with an infant and our table was already set with the high chair. The staff was really great with the baby. Service was quick and positive.
Great food. Great service. Good value. Will be back.
When we arrived the host told us it would be a 45-60 minute wait even though there were tables available on OpenTable. We reserved one while standing at the host stand and were seated shortly after. Once we got to our table we could barely hear each other because of the noisy atmosphere and a very loud table beside us. Service wasn’t great, the server wasn’t very attentive. To top it all off, we were swatting away fruit flies from our drinks and food all night (we were sitting inside).
For a restaurant that has newly opened, the service has been impeccable with considerate, knowledgeable and friendly staff who make you feel welcome, can engage with the customer about their product with confidence and make recommendations that are spot on. The food is well-executed, though the nachos are a little scant on toppings, and the beer selection is amazing and varied. Highly recommended and a neighbourhood gem that will be frequented by this patron many times over.
We tried Beertown for the 1st time Monday. The food and drink were great and servers were excellent.
Chips and guacamole was a tablespoon of salsa and some very mediocre guacamole... weird flavour. Fish tacos were good but not special....looks like a fun atmosphere but food expensive for quality and quantity. Meh.... underwhelmed.
