Outstanding food, loved the pixos cart. Great drink selection. All in all a memorable evening
Everything was great. Except the hostess upon my entering, barely acknowledged me and did not communicate. She left me standing there as she focused on her ipad. I finally asked if I check in with her and she said yes. It was a weird way to be greeted/non greeted. Otherwise, had a great experience.
Superb service, excellent food and a beautiful ambience.
Great food in a beautiful space. Good drink selection and perfect menu to choose something small and light or a heavier meal
I love Bellota! This is a great choice if you're looking for a fancy restaurant that provides value for its prices-- we felt super well taken care of and loved sitting at the bar with view of the kitchen. The cooks were casually putting together amazing dishes in the wood fired oven. We got a mixture of appetizers-- including the gambas and cauliflower dish. The gin & tonics are not to be missed, as well. Will definitely be returning!!
The interior is wonderful and the service was great with a lively atmosphere and its location is perfect, but the food at the price point is at best 3 stars, spent $437 for the four of us. A good portion of the food simply did not have that true Spanish flavor and a bit bland. if one is looking for a Spanish Tapas restaurant I would either suggest Alegrias or Bask in San Francisco or even La Marcha Tapas in Berkeley is a better value for great Tapas.
The Ambiance was fantastic however the food really did not align. We got the in Season Crab Paella and it was bland to be honest. It was $60 and truly there was HARDLY any crab. Very pretty. We enjoyed the atmosphere but ehhh overall.
Short ribs were excellent.
It was my first time dining here, and everyone had a great time from service, food, ambiance, etc. Will definitely be coming back!
I got poisoned, careless service will have me sick for weeks.
Great food, dessert and drinks. Always the best!
Smug service. The meatballs were barely warm as were the aranccini. Appeared to have been sitting around waiting for someone to serve them. Very disappointed as I keep hoping for a an authentic Spanish experience.
The food was uninspired and lacking any taste.
Would definitely eat here again. One of the best dinners I've had in quite a while.
The food and atmosphere are both fantastic!
Overall great experience. Our party of 4 especially liked the octopus, cauliflower, braves, and, of course, the Bellota ham!
We dined at Bellota on Monday for my husband’s birthday celebration, and it was a pleasant dinner experience. The restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 11 last minute, which was greatly appreciated. The tapas and drinks were tasty. The paella was decent. Bellota has a lovely ambience and was decorated for the festive holiday season. Next time, I will try an entree on the dinner menu as I had a bite of the T-bone steak, which was very good. It is a fun venue for large groups or a date night. Thanks, Bellota!
Outstanding. The food, the wine and the service
One of my top 5 restaurants in the city. Delicious food, spectacular service and unforgettable ambience. The chicken paella, the octopus tapas and their wine selection are big winners.
Very nice food, service and atmosphere!
Excellent food. The server was particularly fantastic in recommendations and actively warned us If the order was excessive. Wonderful energetic ambiance with live music. The gin tonic and wine selection is fabulous and the churros are for die for.
Delicious meal though the stand out dish was the lamb meatballs. Needed assistance with the regional wine list and the recommendations was spot on to our requested flavor balance. Of course the paella shouldn’t be skipped but order it immediately since it’s a 40 minute wait
Wonderful tapas meal- Spanish omelet, Brussels sprouts (grilled), octopus, spanish cheesecake all stood out. Hip decor, enough wood to lower ambient noise. Return trip for sure.
Amazing ambiance, food, service. Large restaurant accommodates many. Live music adds to the ambiance. Authentic Spanish tapas.
Fun Dinner place, vibrant, good wine selection. Slightly on the louder side
Love this place for a splurge night out. Experience was seamless last night, from very efficient and friendly waitstaff, snacks on demand via the pintxos cart to delicious food and a great wine list. Unlike many tapas places they're really good about spacing out the dishes to make it a more leisurely meal. 5 stars all around!
Great team effort. Wondeful eveing
This beautifully decorated open kitchen Spanish restaurant was perfect for our paella fix and although the split pan is better for Instagram, for the foodie go for a full squid ink seafood paella. Came for the paella, didn't bother with the sides, although the huge steaks and pork chops looked amazing. The live band was a nice touch and the unintentionally look into airbnb headquarters of which this place is attached was a nice bonus. Definitely needs reservations.
There were four of us, first time here. After ordering some drinks, the waiter made a few suggestions... we ended up just asking him to decide for us, so he did.... we ended up with 4 or 5 tapas and one delicious steak for the four of us and it was all perfect. Shrimp, octopus, potatoes, amazing ham, and some croquettes or similar. I wish other restaurants had this kind of service. We will definitely be back!
Another wonderful evening with great food and excellent service!
Excellent food!! Good ambience
Great food, great drinks.
The jamon was spectacular- everything else way to rich/heavy and just average. Service just OK. Expensive for what get.
One of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco. The staff is fantastic, the drinks are unique, and the food makes you feel like you’re in Spain.
Wow! What a lively raucous space! Amazing food, excellent service, live music, young hot tech professionals from SoMa parading around like they own they own the place. Whatever you call it, it’s a slice o’ life in the current “parlance of our (SF) times.” It was kind of like going to an exotic zoo...
We had a wonderful evening at Bellota celebrating a few big events. We started in the bar with a few delicious drinks. The bar are is so comfortable with great seats around the bar and cozy chairs and couchs for larger groups. Our dinner server was entertaining and did a great job of guiding us on what to order from starters to sides to paella and the wine. The meal was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Warm, cozy, energetic and beautiful environment! Can't wait to go back soon!
Wow! We're so happy you had a great time, we're looking forward to seeing you again.
Love this Restaurant. Great ambiance, food, and drinks. Also great service!
We always sit at the counter tables watching the chefs and it is our favorite spot. We contemplate what to order based on what we see them cooking. The tapas are great, and we love the overall atmosphere.
Brought my parents who were visiting from out of town. Service was good, food was amazing but the noise level made it hard to chat.
Great food with a fun and energetic ambiance. Great live music with friendly staff.
