We have eaten here multiple times, but this was our first time at the parklet. The food here is decadently delicious. I loved the egg / potato tortilla and the bruselas especially. The parklet was a nice, quiet and well ventilated option (much preferred in these Omicron times). It is worth noting that a few of the parklet tables can not be right next to a space heater due to the fact that the parklet ceiling only has a few openings that permit the heaters, but we were warm enough for comfort. The service is very attentive.
Best fish I’ve ever had. Really loved the gin and tonic menu.
Dinner was awesome, the Gambas was off the chain! We also order the the Pollo Paella, the confit chicken was fall off the bone. The rice portion was a touch under seasoned but I'm not complaining. The musicians were very good the guitar player was exceptional! All in all it was a great evening.
The communal table by the window was excellent, the live music was on point and the food is amazing, like always. Perfect atmosphere for my wife’s birthday celebration.
One of my favorite places for a special occasion. Authentic Spanish food. Great drinks. Great service.
Have been wanting to try this place based on my friends raving about it, when I saw availability for 6 on Thursday night it was perfect. All of the folks in my party absolutely loved the food, wine and Sangria. Shout out to Justine awesome hostess and the entire staff!
We ate outdoors in their pleasant covered space with well distanced tables and heaters. Service from Jorge was excellent and the food superlative. We shared plates amongst the 4 of us. Especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts and omelette.
Bellota was an elite experience -- would come back again!
Decor/Ambience: The restaurant itself is very spacious and upscale. Unlike other restaurants, the tables are far apart to feel safe to dine. We requested a secluded table for a birthday dinner and they gave us a lovely table in the corner that was spacious to enjoy our meal. It wasn't too loud either.
Food: Although on the pricey side for tapas, we thoroughly enjoyed all the food we got. Some highlights were the gambas, croquetas, albondigas, pulpo, and the lechon paella. The sangria pitcher is a must! The churros were incredibly fluffy and delicious.
Overall experience: 5/5. My whole party enjoyed the service, ambience, and food.
Amazing food. Sangria was the best ivey had. Thank you.
Was slow on a Tuesday but food and service very good and timely, sommalier very helpful. I have been here several times and would say service is a little cold but efficient, food high quality, wine list really good.
We have been here twice before, this time the food was somewhat disappointing. However the cocktails were really good.
The potatoes bravas were ok, crispy but a bit too dry, however dipped in the wonderful sauces, tasty.
The Gambas were nice in a red sauce with garlic and crispy crostini.
The chorizo was dry and a bit to chewy. The tasty Pan con tomato saved the dish.
The roasted Brussel spouts would have been great as described on the menu, but unfortunately drenched in Olive Oil and salty to the point of inedible. Took them home and added to my New Years Day black eyed peas.
Nice ambiance, very spacious and modern. The menu showcases traditional Spanish tapas, the chef uses orange zest to brighten certain dishes such as the gambas which bright and give the dish an unexpected twist. The cocktail menu has a nice combination of Gins and Tonics which you can mix and match to create a custom a concoction to your personal taste. Gin and Tonics are served with nice garnish making them for an insta-worthy opportunity. The wine by the glass offering on the other hand needs a little improvement, in my opinion.
Great food and the staff were exceptional. Completely blown away by the experience. The perfect place to go for a special occasion.
Best NYE degustation menu ever!
Gorgeous place. Amazing food. Beyond welcoming staff. Strongly recommend.
Amazing place, delicious food that is authentic, sophisticated and modern. The restaurant is beautiful and the people are nice. My favorite restaurant in the city without a doubt.
This is one my favorite and one of the best places in SF to eat.
Wonderful food and service. Always guaranteed pleasure.
Top notch drinks and yummy tapas. The paella is amazing and so are the churros.
A really fun night! Everything was great but the paella. Do not get that. We got a divided paella and neither the vegetarian nor the seafood were good. It was mushy, the seafood was oversalted, and there was no crust at the bottom, nor really any flavor. Our waiter Raphael was amazing. Cocktails were excellent, tapas, jamon and the wine selection. The desserts were incredibly memorable - get the churros and the special brandy coffee! I would go back for everything but the paella. And dress warmly because the open door created a seriously cold draft…
great paellas and outdoor seating is warmer than most places
Food and drink was great with offerings seldom seen in other restaurants. Wait staff was very good. Host were a bit too stiff and formal, particularly about where we could sit.
WAY TOO COLD TO LEAVE THE MAIN ENTRY OPEN ALL NIGHT. NEVER GOT WARM INSIDE THE RESTAURANT!!
Our waiter was so amazing and helpful in deciding what to get. The food was absolutely amazing, already trying to figure out when we can come back to try more things
Lovely restaurant. Most of our food was tasty and well seasoned; the omelette was a little bland. Definitely get the churros for desert, they are addictive!
Our server was incredible, accomodation, great timing, knew the food, he was amazing.
Unfortunately an extremely loud, very large group got sat right behind us and the noise level made it difficult for the 3 of us to hear eachother.
Great service. Jamon was amazing. Brussel sprouts were greasy. Muscles were good. Octopus was tough.
We came to celebrate a friends birthday and sat outside. It was warm and cozy and quiet so we could have a great chat--inside has a great vibe with live music but we wanted to catch up. The waitstaff (Rafael) was great steering our cocktail choices and the sommelier suggested a deliciouse Spanish wine. We had several tapas ncluding the iberico and a "divided paella". Really lovely expereince.
The appetizers were quite good but the paella was the worst we have ever eaten.
Bland, tasteless, stodgy..one had to search for the seafood with the exception of a few shrimp on the top.
We were all very disappointed and will not recommend Bellota
Been here a few times. Delicious wine and tapas, service consistently on point. Love this place!
Great time - money we’ll spent. Food is fun and delicious
High quality Spanish food; great, lively space. Excellent for small groups wanting to share, relax, and try something new, but easy. Our group had 3 Spanish food newbies wo were very happy with our evening.
For a Puertorrican with Spain Heritage, the food taste good but it is not Spaniard traditional food. It's a re-interpretation of Spanish Tapas and Food.
One of the best Spanish restaurants we’ve ever been to, including when we visit Spain. Great food, great service, wonderful cocktails.
Not traditional Spanish. More modern flavors. Good but not quite what I was expecting. Zarzuela ( now closed and chef retired) was my standard for excellence in Spanish food
We were forced to sit at bar seatings even though we explicitly choose regular seating. When we asked, they said we were late. They were right, we were late for 19 minutes, but they called us and we confirmed we were parking and going to be there in 2 minutes. This was so disrespectful.
We got the animal style patatas bravas, crochetas and paella with chicken and chorizo, also sangria. Tapas were great, sangria was also great, but paella was average. Try Teleferic Barcelona if you can, for the best paella in bay area. Lastly we got churros. It was also great!
Always a great experience and wonderful service. Had a lovely time with family for a aunts birthday.
Every dish was outstanding as always. A very noisy night, however.
Appetizers were delicious! Loved the Gin and tonic menu. We got the vegetarian paella. I had heard good things about the paella, and I’m guessing the non-vegetarian ones are better.
