Bertucci's - Columbia
The service was painfully slow and the order was delivered wrong and cold (pizza) despite the fact that there was more staff than customers in the store. Upon complaining to the manager, we were comped the food, realizing they have some serious staffing issues. Doug the bartender has a dazzling personality and did his best to save the day. Thank you Doug! Hopefully they solve the staffing issues because we like their food and would like to return!

After we were seated and placed our order, we waited and waited and waited. After 45 minutes, i asked about our order only to hear the waiter didn’t enter it. All the time more people came in after us ordered and had their meals and already eating. The waiter acknowledged the delay due to the fact that he did not enter the order and did nothing until I complained to the manager. After that we got our food. The app was cold and the pizza was bland. Not sure if it worth going to this place anymore. What a disappointment.

I don't say this lightly, but I really think that the server was high on something.
She took the order but left the menus on the table (which were place overhanging the table near her); she brought the rolls, dipping sauce and straws; we ate the 3 rolls provided (party of 2); we left the unopened straws visible near the menu as we wondered where the drinks we ordered (2 waters) were; she came by, looked at the table, asked if we would like some more rolls but apparently did not notice the empty drink napkins she had put on the table originally nor the unopened straws. Finally, after about 15 mins. she came by with the additional rolls and said she would check on the order; at that time I had to ask if we could have some water; after awhile she brought the meal which was very good. It was a "meatball monday" promotion and we had a meatball calzone & and a meatball pizza (both of which were 1/2 price). Towards the end of the meal she did come over to ask if we wanted a water refill, which we took her up on. When she brought the waters she asked how the food was and we responded in the positive. We had to wait awhile after we finished for her to come by again and we asked for a box and the check. Waited another while when she came with the box and check. At that time I noticed that the charge for the meal failed to account for the promotion for that night. I had to look around for her from the table and finally got her attention to tell her about the mis-step. She apologized and stated that she has been "forgetting that". We waited another while for her to come back with the correct check. Then had to wait another while for her to pick up the check and payment. I could understand some of all this if the restaurant was busy but it was not, at all. At the height of all this she was dealing with 2-3 tables. When my card was returned I paid the bill and we could finally leave (around 9:30 p.m.). We arrived at 7:45 p.m. BTW in the midst of this she did collect the menus.
Our service should have been much better than what you received. Please know that we will address this with our team and will do our best to make this an isolated experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback!
Wife now claims that there's a tie for best tasting GF pizza... just need to confirm the value proposition to break that tie.

We waited a long time before being greeted and given water. We then waited a full hour with still no entree and we had to leave to catch a movie. My husband stayed behind to pay the bill and get the now-take out. Management did not charge us for the meal so we were grateful and gave our server the tip for what would've been the full amount. Management sent him home with 5 pizza boxes. Upon arriving home, we discovered that 2 boxes were empty and the remaining 3 boxes were not the pizzas we originally ordered. I chalk it up to a bad night at Bertucci's but we probably will not return.

Bertucci's is the Pizza Hut of my youth! My family loves Bertucci's for the food and staff. They treat us like family.

The chicken marsala was excellent.
The prosciutto and cheese calzone was disappointing, because the amount of prosciutto and cheese in the calzone was much less than we have been used to at Bertucci's in the past.

Server told us that good would be delayed because they had a $ 600 order.Free starter served 2 min before main courses. Room to cold. Never go there again.

We had a large table for our family lunch. Our server was absolutely wonderful! She was very sweet, attentive patient and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious! A great value especially for a big family!

We love vertices. We celebrated a birthday. Food is always great.
At this visit A calzone meal was burned and redone. The wait for the calzone was too much.
The other meals were great as usual.
The restaurant is not equipped for large parties. Service was horrible had a table for 20 spoke with the manager several times. Chicken Parm was old, pizza burned some folks ordered food and after some dishes were being brought out a couple of folks were told they no longer had anymore of the dish they had ordered, would they like something else, really? Drinks were hard to get. So I will never host a large party there again
Good service. The food was not great, the pasta sauces we had lacked flavor and the dishes were not well balanced. The value of the ingredient was good, we got a lot of seafood for the price.
The restaurant was uncrowded for a Saturday night We had reservations but really didn't need them. They were very accommodating with my gluten dairy free diet. Pizza was great.
To start off, the table was sticky so obviously hadn't been cleaned properly. The menu was limited not offering anything original. The dinner rolls (which have always been A drawing card for Bertuccis) had to be requested and were served halfway through dinner. The music, which for so many years had an Italian theme or Frank Sinatra songs, was unpleasant and loud.
With so many new restaurants coming into that area I am surprised that Bertuccis isn't stepping up their game in order to be competitive. Instead my experience showed they were not the one great place they used to be.
Good food and service; had not been there in many years because we thought it only served pizzas. Lentil soup was good; shrimp dinner was tasty. Try the rosemary potatoes. Will be back.
Server was excellent to start and end, but got seriously rattled somewhere in the middle. Our appetizer never arrived and one of the 2 pizzas had a topping we didn’t ask for and was badly burnt.
Service and food was terrible. My last experience in this location from couple of years was fine but they were totally changed. I won't go back there anymore. Done for my life

We made a reservation and were seated and greeted right away! Super awesome young man sat us! He was friendly and efficient! Only the food arriving was a bit slow! All in all good job!!!

Repeat customer - often. Informal dining, conveniently located in Columbia. Friendly staff; good for families and couples, alike.
Waited over 30 mins to be seated after reservation time. Was told food would take at least an hour to come out. Pasta was very undercooked. Three people at table ordered same meal - portion sizes varied greatly for those three meals. Was very disappointed - especially given it was Mother’s Day. Hopefully the next experience will be better.
I had a reservation for 4:30pm, we never got seated until 5:00pm but it was Mother's Day so we took that into consideration. Our waitress came quickly for drinks and bread, once our order was taken, it must have slipped because we waited close to an hour for our food. We only ordered two pizzas and two spaghetti platters. The food was delicious but the wait time was ridiculous especially when we were seeing people who were seated 10-15 minutes after us getting their food.
We had to wait for 15 minutes even with our reservation otherwise all good. They also did not have all the menu items probably because of Mother’s Day and too many celebrations...

overall a good experience. I haven't been here in years and we came for my daughter's birthday. Our server, Destiny, was great, very friendly and attentive! Unfortunately, it seemed to take forever to get our food, which I do not blame on her. When it came out, it was for the most part above average. I had the Chicken Piccata and my father had the mushroom risotto, both of which were excellent. My daughter had a pizza which was pretty good. My mother got the mussels and those we not very good. Very mushy, definately not fresh. However, they aren't a seafood place so bit judging them to much on that. My husband said his lasagna was good, if not "write home" worthy. It was VERY loud in there, which I am picky about as I wanted a restaurant, not a bar.
Overall a good experience and would go back again.

Bertucci’s is a family favorite! Delicious Italian food, prepared well. Sometimes the kitchen can get overwhelmed, so the food arrived a bit slower this time. Still, very tasty. Just need to remind the waiter next time about the ice cream that comes with the kid’s menu item.
The food is always consistent and they we're flexible with our request to add additional guest at the last minute.
