The pizza was absolutely disgusting. No flavor. Soggy. I couldn’t eat it. The bead was..... I have no idea what it was but it wasn’t bread. The salad was tired, way too expensive and overdressed. Never going back.
Food is good but table service is sloooooooooooooow. We watched, no bull, 28 takeout/curbside orders brought from the kitchen to the front between the time we ordered our appetizer/entrees and received the entrees. And we didn't get the appetizer cuz the waitress forgot to put it in. They had 2 waitstaff (observed) handling diners... and there were only 4 tables inside and 2 tables outside occupied! The 2 takeout servers appeared to be doing a lot more work than the table servers. Very disappointing.....

The fact that my favorite server, Susan A was there helped me become very comfortable during these strange times. The food was good and having requested additional shrimp was worth the additional charge so that I could have a meal the next day.
It is really too bad that they do not serve any veal dishes, not typical for Italian restaurants.
It was nice to get back to this location.

My wife and I arrived for our reservation to be brusquely told my a man who appeared to be that manager to wait, after all he was busy. After standing there like two idiots for about five minutes, he returned. We told him we had an opentable reservation at for 2 at 6:45. His nasty response was that they were too busy and understaffed and did not have the time to seat anyone. But we had a reservation he was told. No his problem. We walked out. The manager could have handled the matter in a more civil manner by comping us a round of drinks. We will never return. The service in the Swampscott location has always been abominable and this was no different. What I really want to know is why the OpenTable platform cannot permit the restaurateur to contact the dinner by email or phone to inform them of the problem before the dinner seats out. A glaring omission in the software! Barry

As a ususalSaturday evening dinner diner I have found this location to be very convient to my home and the prices in line with today's restaraunts. My one and only complaint is that there are no VEAL dishes on the menu. The service is tops and even though my usual server was not on, the evening was a delight. Please put one or two veal dishes on your menu then I will be a more than satisfied custome.

I usually have my Saturday evening meal at Bertucci’s in Swampscott,MA, I almost do not have to order as my favorite server works this location and knows my likes and dislikes. The only thing that I dislike is that for an Italian restaurant they do not serve any veal dishes.
It was okay but generally that was expected. We were placed next to a table of 14 or so which seemed unnecesaary given the restaurant was half empty. Made it crowded when pizza tray was placed and it was almost knocked over multiple times. Server was polite but messed up the order. Apologized and all so not an issue. Broccoli was way too garlicky. Pizza was good as was the corrected pasta dish. Cookie dessert was nicely baked.
From start to finish Our Group had a great time. We had to wait a little for one of our guest to arrive, but the waitress was very pleasant & patient. When our last guest arrived about 10 minutes later made her feel welcomed and tended to her right away. We never felt rushed like some other restaurants make you feel, the food was very delicious and a great night. THANK YOU
The food and service is always great but the wait time for foid to be served took a very long time. It always feels like restaurant is short staffed in the dining room. Other than that, experience was good.
Great food, terrific server...Perfect for our group of 10.
