Love going back to Birks after long Covid absence. Service great and most food great. Only issue is that my filet was a bit dry and overcooked (ordered rare). As a rare meat person, it’s important that it really be rare. But this won’t stop me from returning! All else great.
Celebrated ours and our daughter's wedding anniversary at Birks last night and it was a most enjoyable evening. Our server, (sorry we didn't catch his name..dark-haired with glasses) was most attentive and even provided the 4 of us with a complimentary dessert assortment at the end of our meal. Thanks, Birks! We shall return!
The service was too slow and food was not good. The halibut was too dry.
Excellent filet mignon, but my wife ordered med well and steak delivered was med rare. Sent back for correction. Delivered corrected steak with new sides.
I took my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. The service we were given was great but the food... not so great. Starters we had the Calamari and oysters which we LOVED! Then my son enjoyed his chicken strips. My boyfriend orders a steak and orders it medium rare, when he receives it, it was well done. We sent it back and wait before we start eating so we may eat together; when the second steak comes out it rare. At this point we don't send it back because we just bothered and ready to leave. when we start to eat the halibut I was given was salty, we didn't know because I had wait for him to get his plate so we can all enjoy our food together. I had maybe a bite and left it. That night I went home and ordered a pizza, so after spending 200$ on a meal we def didn't enjoy i went home to spend another 50$ on pizza because I was so hungry. But I mean the wine was good with the starters, I just wont be going back.
The AC was not working. I asked the waitress few times. She said she was going to check with the manager. But none of them weren’t coming back with answer/explanation.
Seemed like every menu item had blacken spice added. I ordered the bone in rib eye because I did not want blackened. Guess what, it was loaded with a very salty blacken spice. Started thinking they were trying to cover up something,
Caesar salad was very good!
Ordered Key lime pie and we could not eat it, very strong rind taste.
They did take it off of our final bill.
Arrived at 6:00pm departed Birk's at 8:00pm very very slow!!
It was a fabulous place to celebrate 2 birthdays. We picked the slow cook prime rib with 2 sides great value for the price.
We sat inside in a well ventilated dining area. The service was efficient and attentive, the food is always consistently good and well prepared and the beverage selections are substantial. Yes, it’s a tad pricey, but well worth it.

From the moment we stepped in we were treated like royalty. The service and food were beyond reproach. We found this restaurant by accident through Open Table. We will definitely be back and we will be bringing friends!

I took almost 45 min to serve the lunch. I can’t eat at all because of time limitation. Guys sitting next to us were almost drunk and talk a lot very loudly. Our lunch was with our customer, so that noise was so annoyance for our business conversation.
Host a very nice. Waiter could take some lessons from him. He seemed a little short and bothered by our presence. For the price I expected better. My steak was overdone. My son's steak was near raw. We both ordered medium rare. It could have just been an off night. I did not complain at the table because I did not want it to be about us. They just need to work on these things. If I lived in the area I would give them another try. It was not horrible and flavor was good.
First class quality dishes. The smoked prime was a new delicious experience. The menu is not expansive but each dish has been perfected. The cocktails were imaginative and delicious. I wish I could have tried them all. The service was not rushed with helpful suggestions. The noise level was up a little but we were between the bar and the open kitchen where we like to be.
We've been here several times. It's a favorite. We go early and ask for a booth. We typically go on the weekend. They may actually be more crowded during the week, for business affairs? This time we ordered the Prawn Cocktail for an appetizer. It comes with 5 and we ordered 1 additional for $4. We also ordered the cheese platter, which is generous. I had the wedge salad. Lardons were a little salty but I think that's the norm. Overall excellent. For dinner I had the Prime Rib and my wife had a Steak Pasta "Special". She really loved that. No dessert. Doggy bags. Service was excellent, start to finish. No rush, which we hate.
The “smoked” prime rib was cooked great but the smoke flavor tasted like liquid smoke. Veggies were not firm either. Service and ambiance were great.
We have ordered 3 dishes of rib-eye and all steaks are inherently tough and all of us can't chew it. We were so disappointed in such price and qualify

It was a business dinner and my client is vegan. Wait staff did not provide great service to give him options. I realize it’s a steak house, but tour staff should know what’s available on the menu or provide alternative suggestions to accommodate your customers.
We were traveling for our anniversary and wanted a nice place to celebrate. Our experience was exceptional. Service was top notch and our dinner was superb. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Highly recommend!

Steak was ordered medium-rare but arrived well-done. After some resistance, our waiter reluctantly returned it to kitchen. The replacement steak was very rare. Very bad for what used to be one of my favorite restaurants!
We made an appointment for our anniversary. The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The food was wonderful. We’ll definitely be coming back, even if it’s not a special occasion.

Oh this was the first time I've been here. And me and my husband cant wait to go back. Food delicious, hot, well prepared. Our server was so nice and very detailed in explaining the menu. And checked on us frequently, if we needed anything. Perfect. I 100% recommend going. To be skeptical of the construction. Restaurant is nice inside. And they have outside dining as well.
The wait people were wonderful. I kept dropping my fork and immediately a new one was brought to me.
Right now it is very hard to actually find the entrance driveway with all the construction. The signage is very little and small.
Good quality was okay, but not as good as what I expected
Good wine list, good whiskey list, phenomenal food. This used to be a "main stay" for me, when I worked nearby... so I admit I miss being able to hit Happy Hour here on a regular basis. But now, not being too close to it makes it more of "a treat" when we're able to have a meal, here. Surely one of the very best steakhouses in the south bay!

He surprised us with a sampler plate adding Extra desserts to our choices. So nice when a restaurant reads your notes on a reservation and honors them without having to be reminded
