My guest and I enjoyed our evening in Bistro Le Monde. The food (pizzas, followed in my case by excellent chocolate ice cream) was well prepared and tasty.

Mediocre food spicy vegetarian dish not edible and poor crumble will not be back.

Great food and wine! Recommend!

We came on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Service was a but slow bit courteous. My only suggestion for improvement would be to work on decor / ambiance a bit more. Overall, a good experience and would go again.

I had a beautiful meal with 2 friends before a night at the theatre, service excellent and food beautiful, couldn't fault a thing, also great value for money, 100 euro for 3 courses each and a bottle of house wine.

Food was very poor. I had a Pizza that had little/no tomato sauce. The Bruschetta was served on a pizza base which gave it a charred taste. My partner had the beef bourginon which was below average. Additionally we ordered chips which were under-cooked and hard in the middle Very disappointing. Also a few people around sending back food for either being cold or not fresh.

Food excellent. Service outstanding. Very cheerful and helpful staff . It was quiet the evening we arrived, but I have been there previously prior to a theatre outing, and the place was full and buzzing.

We booked through opentable and had specified it was a birthday, however nobody approached us or nothing happened to mark this...The food was on one side fabulously presented, photo worthy, and tasted mostly great, however it lacked veg, they were on the plate but were used as decoration and were sparce. My main issue was that I ordered crème brulée which stated berries and coulis, I asked the waitress specifically to verify that there would be berries with it and then there wasn't! When I asked she pointed out the scrapping of coulis which was on the slate plate under my little bowl of crème brulée! Even if I wanted to eat off the slate under my bowl, there wasn't enough for any effort in trying. We had two waitresses and one was not tuned in at all which meant we got chips, my daughter's side with her starter, which we sent back and my husband didn't get his chops with his mains and when we asked he got them when we were finished....he stopped eating half way to wait for them. Overall a disappointing experience but the chef is very talented. If the team could pull together it has the potential for a great restaurant!

Very friendly, good value, nice food

We had an early meal in this restaurant last Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised. The pre theatre menu is short but adequate. Starters were excellent and beautifully presented. Mains were also good but the vegetarian option lacked flavour. Service was good - attentive but not overpowering. One small downside is that the tables along the wall are very close together & we were directed there when we entered the restaurant even though all the tables in the centre were vacant. This was the only quibble with what was otherwise a very enjoyable meal. We would return here if in the area again.

A delight from start to finish! Staff were friendly, food was delish, and the prosecco fabulous! Prawn starter was so good that even my seafood hating friend stole one and enjoyed it! Will definitely be back!

The food was unusual and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed all if our choices! Service was friendly if a little inexperienced. The restaurant was very empty the night we were there which made it difficult to create much ambiance. Overall really enjoyed our meal.

Found food very poor . 3 of us has prawns for starter and it was a disgrace as portion size were tiny. Also had steak for mains and very overdone and meat grizzly. No bread with starters . Very disappointed and definitely will not be back as price of bill was way too much for poor food .

Early bird menu is amazing value for money and the presentation is outstanding

Had a great family occasion here at the weekend. Very difficult to find a restaurant that caters for all food types. We were a party of 10 with 3 vegetarians and 2 very picky eaters. Everyone was delighted with their meal. Food was really lovely but for me it was the service we received was exceptional.

A repeat visit - because Bistro is consistently attractive and serves delicious - all senses -food. Its early bird menu is without parallel; its wine list is the most reasonable around.

Very creative meal in nice quiet setting. Not very busy midweek. Easily accessible by dart.

Utterly outstanding presentation, adding to the pleasure of eating the food. The prawn starter was awesome. The mash in the main could have been more flavoured. We didn't have desserts. We chose the Early Bird two-course menu which was excellent value.

Fantastic service, great drinks menu, superb food. Plating is like an artwork. Would recommend highly and will be back again.
