First off the service was outstanding. My husband ordered a white Russian and she made it with a twist and told him to try it, if he didn't enjoy it he could have the original. Needless to say he loved it. Overall the food was decent. There were a few issues with our food not prepared properly. The manager made adjustments which we appreciated. The decor and ambiance was lovely. I would go back and try something different. The service made it worth returning :)

It was a very pleasant experience. We had a mix up on numbers and the manager rectified it on the spot. He also came over several times through out the meal to check on us. Highly recommend the Elk chop! Honestly, everything was excellent. Can’t go wrong with anything there.

Went for my wife’s birthday. The restaurant was very kind and gave her a birthday card and complimentary dessert. Overall, it was a nice experience. My only complaints, albeit minor, was that they did not have the Elk chop. I opted for the dry aged ribeye, and while it was flavorful, it was slightly tough and very overpriced. My wife had the pork shank and it was delightful, as is the poblano Mac & cheese. We will definitely return but I’ll call first to ensure that they have the menu item I want. Great staff and environment.

An absolutely incredible experience. Our server, Roger, was a gem. He easily answered our questions about the menu and had terrific suggestions on pairings for entrees, cocktails, and more. The entire staff was so kind and inviting. The Boiler House is a gorgeous building inside and out. We opted to eat on the patio, which has this European feel and is great for people-watching. The food was outstanding! We had the shrimp ceviche and the sherry salmon; both were phenomenal.

This was my first visit to the Boiler House. exceptional Thanksgiving dinner two and the party had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and I had a fillet. We all remarked what time we had.

The Boiler House was a fantastic experience. We were looking for some place to make our Thanksgiving special and Luis, our waiter and the Boiler House hit it out of the park. We ordered the traditional Thanksgiving Day meal and it was fantastic ! Luis's recommendations were spot on and his attention to our table was exceptional. We will definitely return again the next time we are in town. We highly recommend dining there!

I really wanted to be able to say the food was good but I took my Dad to eat the Thanksgiving meal at Boiler House and it was so horribly bland. The green bean casserole was actually watery (gross). The turkey was okay but just did not have a lot of flavor. The truffle mashed potatoes just didn’t seem to go with the traditional turkey meal. The gravy was underwhelming, and the sausage stuffing was not bad but not great either. The roll was boring and room temp. Overall a very poor holiday meal, considering the reputation of the Boiler House. I was so bummed and even sad that I took my Dad here for his holiday meal. Neither one of us enjoyed the food. The pumpkin pie and the cranberry sauce I liked the best, but the pie slice was small. :-/

Made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday just the two of us, we arrived a bit early but we're seated exactly at our reservation time. Our server was attentive and great with recommendations. The food was amazing, we both had steak and they were cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed an old fashioned and a prickly pear moctail, overall it was an amazing dinner.

We’ve dined at boiler house multiple times, but last night was by far the best culinary experience. Everything that we ordered was first rate and delicious. Overall, Service was friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left being greeted with welcome smiles by All Staff. That was definitely a nice touch compared to other establishments. I will say, however, the price point for this noisy of a venue and food selection is a bit pricey. For a table of four to have a $500 tab you would generally expect a little bit higher tier of restaurant and cuisine. But still, we will definitely come back given how tasty our meal was and the caring service.

The waitress was trained as a café waitress (that’s being generous), my wine was a short pour, went to the bar to find out they had to open a new bottle (lazy),my mashed potatoes came out 3/4 into my steak. the manager was a incompetent over paid tea & water re-filler. Then made me pay for my mashed potatoes!

Service is top notch. We were a loud group of 8 friends that hadn't seen each other in 20 years having brunch. Our server was always there when we needed him and never bothered us or made us feel rushed. Food is always great!

Our waiter was awesome. We are newer to the craft cocktail scene and Chasen made it so easy for us to open up and try some new drinks. The food was amazing, but my baked potato was cold, which didn’t even get close to ruining my experience. I would go to this place over and over. Thank you Boiler House!

The salad was excellent as was the crab cake appetizer. The trout was overcooked but the sauce made up for it. Jasmine provided outstanding service!

We enjoyed the salad and entrees, however the chocolate torte dessert was a bit hard to manage...as in a very hard chocolate crust. The ambience was dampened by chilly temps. Manager made apologies, but could not warm things up 😕

Had a reservation for a large party for my friends birthday and the GM, Jason, was very nice and understanding. Although they can’t promise groups larger than 8 the ability to sit next to each other, when we arrived they had two tables of 8 right next to each other for us. We appreciated the service and the food was phenomenal and filling. We all would definitely return.

Great food and location! We ordered the rainbow trout, pork shank and chicken for our mains. We also got the poblano Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts for sides and the caramel semifreddo for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

We were impressed the hostess met us outside the restaurant, as we were lost trying to find it! We were greeted and welcomed with a card signed wishing us a Happy Anniversary, the food was delicious and service great! I would definitely recommend this place to enjoy your special occasion!

The food is excellent. But if you want bread, aka rolls, you have to pay $6 for 3…they are good. Had the citrus half chicken…delicious. Service very good. Nice wine list and decent wine glasses. Noise level??? We had a 5:15 reservation in the table section, not the high top. The ceiling is perforated steel plate in a section with a party going on upstairs. Only a single toilet downstairs, unisex. Upstairs nice women's toilet with a couple of stalls. The noise level became unbearable. We literally left because we were shouting at each other. Strongly suggest they offer to move patrons having dinner in that are elsewhere when a big gathering is going on upstairs, or close it completely. So loud it was causing a headache. Probably good for lunch. If you want to talk? Go somewhere else.

The Buffalo meatballs were good, but nothing special as has been described in the reviews. The food was good, again, nothing special. I was served the smallest glass of wine I've ever received. I was told that was a correct serving. I'm sure the wholesale cost of a bottle of wine was less than the cost of one glass. Be warned! I would think there is better food at other restaurants n San Antonio. We won't return, and live in the area.

Waiters kept ignoring us did not come to get our orders until we caught the attention of another waiter. They did apologize and were overly attentive afterwards. The food is above average, good quality, drinks were great.

We went on Saturday and you can only order from the Brunch menu at lunch. My niece had chosen this restaurant to celebrate her birthday and was disappointed she could not order from the regular lunch menu. The food we ordered was good and the service was also good. The next time we go to lunch there we will go on a M-F day.

The wait was a little long both for a waiter to take our order and for the food after we ordered. Several of our party members mentioned having trouble hearing the waiter due to the noise level.
