Food was amazing. However we were the first party at the restaurant and they placed us at a table where everyone who came in had to bump against me the entire meal. They did not seem to understand that part of the experience needs to be the ability to enjoy dinner without every patron and take out order customer interrupting the meal
Had a great time celebrating my mother’s birthday. The flaming shrimp was well presented and delicious. As was the beef short rib flatbread, bacon wrapped dates, and beef empanadas. Portions are pretty small, and we had a party of 7, so future reference we should have ordered two of everything as every dish comes with enough for about 4 people.
We each had the same dishes. The scallops on a farro salad and the duck confit. It’s a wine bar and the wines very nice also.
We had a fabulous set of dishes. The mussels & scallops were terrific and the beet salad was great. Service was very helpful and prompt. We arrived a bit early and there was no problem seating us. We definitely will be coming back.
One of my favorite places in the area
There was a large variety of plates to choose from so this restaurant was perfect for teenagers to their parents and grandparents. However, it was so noisy we couldn't hear across the table.
Always the perfect lunch!
Love coming here! Great food, great service & nice atmosphere.
Had a great time with my husband. Food was delish. We went for lunch, but now plan to come back for happy hour or dinner sometime soon.
Love this place. I return here often and try to bring people that are first timers. Everyone leaves very satisfied!
The food is fresh and flavorful, the service is superb and the vibe is welcoming.
Not as good as last time. the portion sizes were smaller...we had flaming shrimp (½ the amount), beat and goat cheese salad (skimpy on the greens), kale salad good.
They also have this new feature....if you buy a bottle of wine, while dining, it is 50% off. Sounds great, right?....BUT....the bottle has to leave the restaurant unopened. Who would do that? The wine is upcharged as it is, 3 glasses of wine would equal the 50% off price...(which is more that the bottle bought elsewhere)....really?
Best flatbread I’ve had with artichokes & feta. Enjoyed sitting outside on a perfect day. Inside has more ambiance.
Love this place and come often for brunch with friends and family.
Excellent food and service. Noisy inside—better to dine outside. Great sangria. Maybe a little pricey for tapas.
A delightful and creative tapas restaurant. Portion sizes are bigger than usual so we had fun making selections and sharing. Wine list was not huge but wonderful.
Good food; good ambiance; fun with friends to try different things...
Always delicious food and very attentive staff.
The food is great here, service is fast and wine selection is amazing.
Love this place! Great food and service.
The small plates are not very small. Very nicely seasoned, nothing dull. Excellent service
Small plates were delicious, and the service, while always pleasant, wasn't as rapid and thorough as it could have been. Used plates were removed after asking for it to be done. I'm glad we ate outside, because noise level inside was too high.
Great food and service
We love this small neighborhood restaurant as does everyone else it seems. It is always crowded. Food and service exemplary. Only negative is noise level. Wish we could have anticipated the lively weather the day of our dinner so we could have eaten outside.
Outstanding food and wonderful wait staff. The owner was also present and actively engaged which was appreciated. Wonderful place. Highly recommended.
The food and the service was great. We did have a time towards the end of the dinner when the music seemed to get a bit loud and the the lyrics were explicit which was a bit eyebrow raising as we were at a family dinner with children. But overall was a good experience.
I would recommend on the quality of food, but half of the 6of us were served 15 minutes before the rest of our party. Saturday night would not be the best time.
I always enjoy the food here. I bring new customers each time and have continued to make new fans each time.
We've attended wine pairing dinners (large groups) as well as dined regular style. The food quality is excellent in both formats. Servers are efficient and cordial. There are no bad choices on the menu as far as my taste buds are concerned.
The food was fantastic! Tried the Short Rib Flatbread, the Beet Salad and Bacon Wrapped Dates - would definitely go back. While small, the wine list is quite good. The servers were attentive, but when asked if I wanted another glass of wine, it was assumed I wanted the same I had been drinking and was poured before I could stop her.
This place having come recommended by an acquaintance was a massive disappointment. If you don't know authentic Spanish tapas, and enjoy greasy spoon or fast food this isn't a step up. Will NEVER go back.
We really enjoyed Restaurant Week at Botanero. Their Restaurant Week menu was extensive- was able to select a main dish, and 3 options from the sides/tapas, wine/sangria, and dessert menu. The side dishes were their full sized tapas plates and was a great value. The service was thorough and the flavors of the dishes were delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience.
We didn't realize it was restaurant week. They were super flexible about letting us split up ordering from the restaurant week or regular menu among our party. We all ordered off of the special menu and it was fabulous. Tons of food, each dish more delicious than the next. Highly recommend the scallops, Brussels sprouts, flat breads (we ordered 2 different kinds), caulilini. We sat in the back room and had the place to ourselves for a minute, but even with a crowd to liven things up, we could still easily manage a conversation. Service staff were extremely accommodating. We'll
definitely be back!
We went to Botanero for our wedding anniversary as we had been eyeing the restaurant for some time and decided to take the plunge. We were not disappointed! The appetizers and entrees were perfectly portioned and delicious. We had the tres leches cake for desert and were saddened we didn’t have room for another slice. We were offered a cappuccino to close the evening. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming. While the meal is of higher caliber, the environment is child friendly and our 3 year old was adequately occupied. We will definitely go back soon! Thank you!
Great food every time we have been there!
The grilled scallops were fabulous, the lamb chops had an exciting “brulee” that made the chops really special, the beet salad was great, the smoked pork belly was good (just a bit too sweet), but the burnt garlic in the flaming shrimp gave the shrimp a nasty taste. An interesting wine list by the glass and a few fun taps. Service was pleasant and prompt. Overall, I’ll be back as soon as I can.
Wonderful hospitality with excellent food. Will certainly visit again.
The food was very good. The small plate selection was very nice. There was good variety on the menu for all tastes and diets. There are gluten-free selections for individuals with gluten-allergies. There is a good selection of flatbreads, vegetable, seafood and meat dishes. We went for lunch, and there is a lunch menu, but you can choice from the dinner menu as well. The restaurant is kind of minimalist and reserved in terms of decor, which is nice in that the decor isn't screaming at you. Noise level was great. A conversation could be had without competing with other distractions. All in all, it was a great meal and experience.
Great food and wonderful service. I do wish they served pita/bread.
