Excellent service - friendly, attentive and considerate
Dined early, pre Theatre, on the 50% off food offer. Excellent value for money.
Seated upstairs which had a nice atmosphere. The service was extremely good.
Would definitely book again.
I’ve been here twice now, one for a job promotion celebration and the other for my birthday. Both times the food has been exquisite. Really flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The French onion soup and the dauphinois potatoes in particular, are incredible! Never thought French food would become one of my favourites until I came here. The waiters are so lovely too and went the extra mile to make my birthday special. Really big recommend!
One of the best restaurants I have been to, just perfect
Lovely spot for pre-theater dinner. The food was tasty. The drinks were fun. The servers were pleasant and the food came quickly so we had no worries about getting to our play on time. I would recommend this restaurant.
Excellent ‘pit stop’ on the way to the Royal Opera House.
Ideally situated just down the road.
Very good value and nice experience.
Returning guest - staff very good, food very good quality and well presented and the 3 course set menu very good value for money
Lovely meal here - we each had 3 courses. Service was very quick, great atmosphere but easy to hear each other speak. Very pleased to take advantage of the Open Table 50% off food offer, which made it amazing value.
We visited again after remembering a special experience in 2019. The experience was just as good as we remembered, if not better! The staff really make this place, the food is excellent and they have many lovely special touches.
Good French food at a correct price (we had a discount). At full price I am not sure I would have appreciate as much. Service with some issues at our visit but really good issue management (5*) to ensure everything is managed quickly.
Great location, lovely setting. Smart yet causal and relaxed feel and the team are very friendly
Enjoyed the set menu (the chicken salad was delicious), some of us eat "a la carte" and enjoyed the fish cakes and steak - to name a few dishes.
Like the tapenade with the bread - nice touch.
Wine choice good. The picpoul was great.
Thank you to the cooks.
Will be back.
The welcome was very friendly and that level of care and efficiency continued throughout. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairing under advice from our waiter was first class. A delightful lunch on a beautiful day.
Nice cosy restaurant near to Covent Garden and theatres. Waiter was extremely helpful in every way and would definitely go back. Food very nice, we had an offer and was excellent value.
Mussels were lovely and the deserts Cheese cake and Choc cake very nice. Remember to order some sides if you have the fish and chips as it is just that fish and chips.
We enjoyed dinner overall. Tasty food in a nice ambience.
I booked this because of the deals and I am so glad that I did. The food was fabulous and the service exceptional. We weren't rushed and I would definitely recommend Boulevard Brasserie for an evening out with friends.
A really lovely meal to finish off a perfect day in London. Food was delicious and we never felt rushed despite how busy the restaurant was. Would definitely return.
Absolutely fabulous evening!
Couldn’t fault it!
Great location and in the buzz on theatre land but that aside the staff & restaurant could stand alone and it would still be well worth a visit.
The food was faultless. As was the efficiency and pleasant manner of all the staff on what was an incredibly busy Saturday evening. Will highly recommend 🙌🏻
All meals were excellent; range of pre-theatre options and off the menu. Staff were really on point to get us through in time for theatre start and offered personal touches to mark a special occasion. Chose based on availability and reviews - great find for next time.
The food was fabulous. The service was a little slow but that was because the restaurant was very busy. We had an issue with our meal which was quickly rectified and as a gesture of good will, the manager took off 50% from the bill.
Arrived for our table 17:05. The man at the desk said we need the table back by 19:00. We had a show booked for 7pm so that was no problem.
The service was extremely slow. We had to keep asking where our starter was . Then we were clock watching because we were left with less than an hour till our show starts. Luckily it was only a 2 minute walk away.
The waiter was rushed off his feet it was really busy there.
Again we had to ask when is the main meal coming he assured us it's coming. Well it arrived in our table at 6:35 ! We had to rush our meal and make sure we were out of there in 15 mins. I think the fact we arrived at 5pm and it took them over 90 mins to produce our meal was unacceptable.
Food was tasty but we won't be returning.
Very nice food and good value as we took advantage of the 50% food offer. Waitress helpful with the menu as one of our party had allergies. However disappointed that they did not have a diary alternative either oat or soya milk for the coffee which is why I have deducted a star. Overall we had a very pleasant experience for a pre theatre dinner. Would recommend.
Amazing food great quality unbelievable price and fantastic service
A good central London restaurant - varied menu and decent food with friendly service. There may be better restaurants in London, but for convenience and a relaxed lunch for family and friends this is a good option.
Great food. Excellent service. Table a little cramped for 5 people.
Best restaurant in London. Great food, service, drinks and atmosphere.
Could not recommend enough.
Nice food, very polite staff,a bit noisy as we were sat downstairs but overall very nice.
Typically French food in Brasserie surroundings. My brie starter was delicious and I loved the salad it came with and cranberry pickle. My main was a slightly disappointing asparagus risotto which lacked seasoning. Pudding was a delicious creme brulee! I swapped my kir royale for an orange juice as I was driving and enjoyed a fresh mint tea. My friend enjoyed pate, beef bourginon and tarte tatin. Lovely ambience.
Very efficient and friendly service, and good value with the 50% offer on food.
Post theatre visit before catching the train home. We had a lovely meal which was served impeccably by our server Egle she was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble despite being busy. Food was delicious and presented very well. Overall a great experience we will be back.
Booked the day before on the website which was easy (and necessary). Service was excellent. Arrived 20 minutes early but that wasn't a problem and we had friendly and efficient service from beginning to end. They are well used to people seeing shows close by and the waiter asked if we wanted the food quickly between courses in case we were in a rush for the show starting, or wanted to relax between courses. Food was very good but seems a bit odd to charge for vegetables as extras. My wife had the trout (two small fillets not a whole trout) on crushed potatoes, but no veg comes with the meal and paying another £4 for some beans or greens seems a little bit mean when the meal for two cost over £100. The steak and fries is the same story...it comes with nothing else on the plate. Having said that, there is nothing else to be critical about. The food was hot, fresh and tasty, and the star of the meal was the apple tart tatin with cinnamon ice cream. It was yummy! Good ambiance, busy and very handy for the shows just off the main Covent garden square. They add the service charge which we didn't mind about and we heard an adjacent table ask for it to be removed which the waiter happily did, so you aren't pressured either way. If they had included a dish of vegetables with the meals it would have been the perfect for a special meal after a show.
Authentic looking French Brassiere, decor gave a lovely ambience.
We were greeted warmly at the door and were taken to our table on the first floor where there were floor to ceiling windows reminiscent of a French chateau, if you can get a table next to these you have views out on to the street where you can window watch as the world goes by which in London is fascinating.
Our waitress was attentive and friendly in the right measures.
The food that we had - all four of us could not fault. Every dish was flavoursome and plentiful we all enjoyed every mouthful. The bottle of wine we shared was not overpriced for London.
So all in all we all loved our meal here and would not hesitate to recommend or go back to in the future.
All good. White wine was warm, which spoiled the experience
