Great filet. Perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff.
The meal was beet salad was very tasty. Pork chop was excellent. Enjoyed the place.
Very nice service and Amazing food
Service was excellent, from the bar to table, and food was very tasty. Ambience was perfect for date night, and quite enough to hold a conversation. I’ll be back!
Bathroom is to far away! But everything else was excellent.
All good!!! Excellent service/food!!! I did get a Birthday card but sadly no courtesy of offering me Nice gesture of Birthday cake we’re missing .
We have been dining at Boulevard for several years and have NEVER been disappointed.
I love boulevard! Location, food, quality of service, are all first rate.
Great food, beautiful decor. The scallops were perfect.
The food was great and our table had a view of the bridge and was perfect!
Service was very slow and the server never came to check on us letting us know the kitchen was backed up. or to ask if we needed more to drink, etc. Disappointed on the service.
Great food and atmosphere.
Thank you for accommodating gluten free/vegetarian!
Truly an amazing experience we will truly cherish!
These days quality food and service together are harder to find, Boulevard never disappoints and still is the gold standard.
Always live to go to Blvd
Main course horrible the Brussels spouts so hard and gnoche not cooked raw... so upsetting.
Asked for manager they never came
We always enjoy this restaurant when we eat here. Everything is wonderful from cocktails through dessert.
Boulevard is consistently one of the best treats in the SF food industry. I am continually surprised that they can offer such delicious tastes at every level, from the delicate starters to every little part of the entrees. It's not just the mouth watering sturgeon, but the risotto that its sitting on and the garnish on the edge that are all delicious. And the service is wonderful and efficient, but also very personable. It feels like first class from the minute you pass through the door! It's the best special occasion place that I know of.
The ambiance was very nice. Staff was friendly. Food was okay. Nothing out of this world or mind blowing. A little disappointed as I was told many good things about this place, nothing was impressive. They do stay constantly busy but not my cup of tea.
As usual, a wonderful place to celebrate a wedding anniversary.
Awkward table at front door had to sit side by side. Super uncomfortable bench seat.
The hostess welcoming, the waitress and crew nice, friendly, attentive and professional. I was offered and served the truly scrumptious dessert on the house after I mentioned my bday. It was a luncheon experience par excellence.
Boulevard continues to be a landmark San Francisco restaurant. Consistency is the word that I use for this, my favorite restaurant in the city. To find the ownership in an apron after so many successful years speaks volumes. Service is always brilliant. This restaurant understands what they are trying to do. And...they “Just do it.” My only complaint? It seems to be more challenging to book every year that goes by! There are many fine establishments in the City. Boulevard has stood the test of time. If you haven’t had the opportunity, you most definitely should.
Boulevard is one of my favorite restaurants. I hosted a cousin and her husband who are visiting from New Jersey. We had the absolutely best table in the restaurant with a view of the Bay Bridge. The appetizers were all very good, and the halibut and flounder main dishes were excellent. The wine choices, whole expensive, were incredibly broad. The Du Mol Pino Noir was excellent. I thought that the service was very good, although the wait for the main courses was a little slow. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night. Overall a great meal!
Boulevard is the best. It never disappoints and the food and service is superb.
Elegant , sophisticated, wonderful experience! Though a dress code is needed - hoodies, old jeans, come on!
Boulevard is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in San Francisco . . . end of story ~ no gray area !!!
Phenomenal food with stunning ambience and stellar service.
They offer a full bar . . . and a spectacular/extensive wine list with numerous wines by the glass and a nice selection of half bottles too.
Corkage is $40 . . . Valet parking is $18
Prepare to be impressed, as this is a memorable dining experience . . . not just another place to eat.
I usually go to Boulevard on special occasions, like my birthday, and have never been disappointed. This past Friday with 4 special friends was no exception. The food was exceptional, the service was fine tuned, the pause between courses was perfect. My whole party was totally happy with the experience. Expensive, as expected, but considering what other fine restaurants in San Francisco are now charging, almost a bargain.
Food was delish. Environment was similar to capital grill
Extraordinary anniversary dinner! The food and service were amazing and we will never forget our special evening!!! Thank you to the Boulevard for providing a delicious and memorable dinner❤️
Superb food in an old school, classic, restaurant. Not exactly inexpensive, but food and service were simply superb. Scallops appetizer and lamb main were outstanding. Will happily go back.
Service throughout was ok, not bad, but our server felt a bit robotic. At one point, the server asked my friend if she would like another cocktail, she said 'no thank you' and he walked away. The weird thing is that my partner's drink glass was also empty, but he didn't bother to ask him if he would like another drink. The water and bread server came by at the right times with a smile, so that was pleasant.
For the food, total disappointment. I ordered the wagyu beef tartar in a mushroom sauce. The beef was just ok, but it was sitting on top of what looked like a hamburger bun. My partner ordered the crab salad which I tried and was so unimpressed with whatever sauce it was in.
The main course for me was the sturgeon which the waiter said was a good flavorful heavy fish. It was bland and tasteless. The main reason I ordered it was for the artichoke risotto (since I normally love risotto) that came with the sturgeon, surrounded by pieces of artichoke around it. The risotto was lukewarm at best (which is one of my pet peeves) and it was bordering on bland, so I added some salt and pepper (which I don't normally expect to do at a restaurant charging these prices). I don't know why there were pieces of artichoke surrounding the risotto, but they were not the hearts, and were certainly not edible. We were all hungry so we ate what we could.
Dessert was just ok, but how can you go wrong with cake and ice cream? My birthday friend ordered one ice cream bonbon, so I expected they would have a candle or something for her, since I specifically asked earlier. The last straw for me was that when dessert was brought to her, they forgot to put a candle on it, to which I had to sternly remind the gentleman who brought the dish (not our server, someone else I hadn't seen before) of the special occasion; so they did end up bringing a couple more bonbons for her with a candle.
Overall, was looking forward to a great meal and service but was very disappointed.
Kitchen having an “off”night. Two people ordered fish, both orders overcooked, fish was dry. Timing between appetizers and entrees was very slow. Martin, our waiter, was excellent. If this had been our first time at Boulevard, not likely to return soon. We dine here enough to chalk this up to an “off”night.
First visit after an absence of five years: service isn't what it once was, but is still good. Food was impeccable. Great bar scene, also. Distinctly mature crowd; lots of starched shirts and even a few ties!
Nice table, great setting, waitress very informative and attentive but not intrusive. Relaxed and not being rushed so they could turn the table.
I almost never have 3 courses when I go out to dinner but the food was so good I felt compelled to. Our waiter was professional, friendly and attentive - there when we needed him and not when we didn’t. Had a really great evening out - would recommend.
It was good tasty food and I felt special on my birthday the staff wrote me card and called me guest of honor!
Anniversary dinner - food was top notch!
