The food is excellent and the service is great!! Lots of variety and things to choose from
We had a great experience! Great food, phenomenal service, amazing drinks and unique ambiance. Loved our date night!!!
Mediocre salmon. Under cooked vegetables. Inattentive waiter. .
Really enjoyed the well-crafted food, and the service we received from Annie was superb. It's noisier than I like it, with music playing too loud, but I guess that's what passses for "lively" these days. The menu was decent sized, and every entree looked like I'd like to order it
Great experience! Limited specialized menu, cocktails, beer and wine. Good for date night or small groups. Great service. Short rib and cheesy beignets are just-haves!
Delicious food, it’s probably the best fired chicken I’ve ever had.
Super cute and appealing location.
The staff was rude. Zero customer service and a reservation apparently meant nothing. Mikayla, our server, was the only one who even remotely looked like she liked talking to people. If it wasn’t for the cocktails we would have left before we were even seated. Extremely disappointed.
Took over an hour to get a whole roasted fish that was served with the middle still raw. The waitress tried to de-bone the fish tableside and absolutely shredded the fish. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. We ended up only eating the salad and leaving with no dinner in an almost two hour sitting. They did comp our drinks after the debacle, but still pretty lousy for a date night.
Enjoyed a special birthday dinner with two other couples on the heated storefront patio! Cocktails, pickles, pork, and pasta were all top notch— and I’ll return again.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and craft cocktails. The comfort food (fried chicken, pickles, burgers and smoked fish dip) were all very good. Will definitely come back. Service was excellent!
Wonderful service, made sure we were warm (we selected outdoor seating), and provided wonderful menu and cocktail suggestions.
Make sure to ask if they're offering a Chef's special and to try their seasonal cocktails--and don't skip their sinfully delicious PB&J.
Sent clients here for lunch and both said the service and food was sub par.
Great neighborhood spot! Particularly recommend the Braise Burger.
The service was TERRIBLE! We waited for 30 minutes before any waitress arrived and it was only after I went inside to inquire if we were Going to be helped. Food was served cold, staff didn’t check on us after. We had to beg waive someone down for the check. Disappointing
The food and atmosphere were awesome. One of our favorite restaurants.
Great brunch spot on Willow Glen's Lincoln Avenue. Fun, interesting menu, killer brunch cocktails. Attentive but not overbearing service.
I had the Eggs Benedict - love the fresh, huge Panorama Bakery english muffins! Sensational hash browns.
My significant other is a big fan of Chilaquiles, often making it at home. She said Braise's version was the best she's ever had.
We are never disappointed! It's become our "go to" place for Sunday brunch and the occasional Fri date night. The food is fantastic, the service is lovely - if you haven't been - GO!
So disappointed, we waited 30 minutes just for our drinks and water, our waitress seemingly forgot us, had to go inside to check twice for drinks and later the check. It was not busy at all, but the service was incredibly subpar.
Food was good, but service was very weird. Extremely slow - it took our party of 5 2.5 hours to finish dinner, despite the restaurant's stated 90 minute limit, and each course took forever to arrive. There seemed to be enough waitstaff, but we repeatedly had to ask for water refills and several servers seemed confused about which table was which or could consistently be seen standing around the service station. We also had a birthday at our table and the restaurant appeared to deliver a complementary dessert, but then charged us for it. Our entrees were served after the sides, and some were hot while others were lukewarm. Could be a very nice restaurant if numerous kinks in the service can be worked out.
The burger was good but not much of a wine selection.
The good and service was excellent. Good size portions. My husband had the burger last night and he is talking about how good it was.
Great comfort food and cocktails in a friendly casual setting.
The cheddar beignets were absolutely incredible. Really enjoyed the salmon Benedict, I like the coffee
The food we wanted was sold out. But patio was nice and service was good!
We have a fantastic time! Amazing cocktails, delicious food, and excellent service!
Unfortunately we had a pretty terrible experience. I never send food back, but after a very long wait, our food arrived ice cold. They brought out new meals pretty quickly, but my eggs were barely cooked and at that point, we’d been there for over an hour so I didn’t bother saying anything. It would have been nice for the manager to take something off the bill, but that didn’t happen.
Very slow service. Very over priced.
Over-hyped by "Bay Area, Check, Please."
PB & J bone marrow" is legit, but nothing else was as advertised.
Cheese beignet was bland...
Steak was cold and dry
Fries were cold, but the aioli was good.
Waiter was inattentive, we flagged down three different people to get our water glasses refilled, get more aioli for the fries, order dessert.
We had a wonderful dinner with best friends. Great food and great drinks all around. However, my friend asked for a side of mustard for her $27 fried chicken dinner she was charged $1.00. The dollar is insignificant. The fact she was not advised of the dollar charge is off putting.
I love the restaurant and will be back with my own mustard.
Absolutely love every time. When it’s too busy to be seated. I just say “Let’s give other people a chance to have a fantastic culinary experience”.
Was at braise for 1 hour and 45 mins and we didn't get any of the food we ordered.
They were out of several dishes, forcing me to order the braise burger which wasn’t bad but it was great either.
First time going . Good atmosphere , good food . Good drinks . Definitely going back for round 2
The food was perfect, the service is suffering. I know there was what looked like one server for all the patio tables but the service was embarrassing. Servers should know how to speak to guests which should be a level higher than someone who works at a vans store. And the server asked me if I wanted to order food, That’s why I’m there sir. I would still recommend because it’s covid so I understand staff shortage because the food is worth it.
Food was tasty but on the small side. Bar service was great but table/water service was substandard. Food looked appetizing. Love the drinks from the bar.
Took forever for someone to take order (10 - 15 mins), was not busy, had to ask for settings, condiments, coffee refill. Definitely not short staffed. Watched staff stand around talking while we waited for someone to notice we hadn't been asked for our order. Food this time was subpar compared to usual and slooooooow. Mushroom toast was cold, mushrooms were gummy.
Probably won't be coming back since the service has always been generally slow, but the food used to be better.
Disorganized - food was okay but overpriced and certainly not special.
Actually the beignets caused indigestion the rest of the day. Waiters
made attempts to keep coffee coming but service slow. Delivered coffee but no cream and sugar and then no spoons or utensils or napkins for about 15 minutes.
Food took half an hour. Nicely presented food. Very pretty. But
Bacon and eggs, overpriced for two eggs, two slices of bacon and ordinary hashed browns.
An excellent casual spot for upscale dining at a reasonable price.
Way too loud!! Very hard to have conversation, to hear each other. Piped music inside was too loud, other conversations/diners too loud, had to lean forward to hear each other. Also, a few doors down at Round Table, they had a trio or duo or something playing in front- way too loud, and with door/windows open here, was way too loud also, couldn’t wait to leave. Food good, menu interesting & differnt. Too bad
Waitress was basically MIA for the entire meal, so much so that a waiter from another section checked on us several times. It took multiple waves to get her attention. Food was fine, but absolutely not on the level that the prices would suggest. Won't be returning.
