Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and there’s no better way to celebrate all the hard-working mom’s in your life than a lovely meal at Brasserie SLO. We’ll help create an extra-special memory that mothers—grandmothers, great-grandmothers, stepmothers—or any mother figure, will treasure always.
The Brasserie at Hotel Cerro has been a great experience both times that I've been. The Rib Eye was incredible. The flat breads are incredible. THe knife and fork burger was an indulgence that was very worth it. I'm going to go back and try other things that I haven't yet tasted. Excellent food and presentation. It's truly a treat to experience fine dining in downtown SLO. I recommend the back patio dining area.
Great mushroom soup! We enjoyed our meal & service.
The food, service, and ambiance was outstanding.
Had been dying to try Brasserie SLO since it opened, and the experience was worth the wait! We split the grilled octopus, mushroom soup, and sautéed scallops (all perfectly prepared, and gorgeous on their plates). Best part was the ambience on the Fig Tree Patio! Had so much fun, we sampled the dessert pastries (also brilliant). We will definitely be back!
Excellent place for dinner. The burger was phenomenal. The scallops are crazy delicious.
Everything was excellent. The fried calamari was cooked perfectly and tender. The mushroom soup was like velvet with amazing flavors. The scallops were incredibly tender. The vegetable risotto was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chicken on top of the beans was fall off the bone tender and so flavorful. Our desserts were rich and full of flavor. The chocolate tart was thick and had a deep chocolate flavor. The espresso Crema brûlée was smooth with a perfect crisp top that tasted like a an Italian espresso.
Lovely restaurant with great food. Salmon was perfectly cooked, kids loved the flatbread pizza and the salted butterscotch ice cream was sensational.
Always wonderful! Food is fantastic, service is great.
Delicious! Service was slow at first but eventually was fixed. We will go back!
Need some variety on the side dishes. Outstanding dinner and the homemade ice cream is great.
Nice outdoor dining setup! We sat in the back patio which was nicely set up and felt like it's always been there, not just for pandemic outdoor dining. Beautiful plants around in a warm atmosphere with tables spaced out appropriately. Though it was a chilly night, we didn't feel it with the multiple fire pits and large umbrellas around. The mushroom soup was amazing. Even one in our group claimed it was the best soup she ever tasted!
Great spread and hospitality. Thanks Bill!
Great atmosphere, food and service, but pricey. Portions could be a little bigger for the price....or, you know, lower the prices a bit. Great place for a special occasion, but too expensive to frequent often.
Our overall experience was good. Our family was visiting our daughter who is attending Cal Poly SLO. We were celebrating our son's birthday at the Brasserie. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was generally very good. However, I was surprise to see their hamburgers were $30 a la carte. The same hamburger was only $15 at lunch time. Our kids said the burgers were amazing, but I really don't think any hamburger is worth $30. After all, it's just a hamburger.
We told the waiter that we were celebrating my son's birthday, so he asked if he could bring us dessert. I said "that would be nice, just vanilla ice cream with a candle would be fine". When the bill arrived, image my surprise when I saw that the waiter had charged us for the ice cream. Although it was only $5, I found it tacky that the restaurant charged me for a birthday dessert. I guess they figured if I was willing pay $30 for a hamburger, then I was dumb enough to pay for a birthday dessert.
Jokes on me.
I didn't expect great food at a hotel restaurant, but everything about this meal was exceptional, including the toastiest outdoor heater I've ever had the pleasure to sit under on a chilly night.
Wonderful vibe in slo with well prepared/tasty dishes. Nice wine by the glass selections and better wine list accompanies a somewhat sparse menu. Caesar salad, seared scallops and salmon were excellent. The downside was an undersized wobbly table and the price. I would return if the menu expands. And if the size of the table does as well
The only complaint I have is that I felt the menu was super limited and I would have liked to have had more options. The atmosphere was delightful and the butter at brunch was way too good. I brought my child and even though they do not have a kids’ menu, it was fine because they had something he could eat. The server came out and brought him a cookie afterward and he loved that. Thanks for making my chunk feel special.
Sunday brunch service was outstanding and I love the atmosphere on both the front and back patios. The brunch salad was average at best, overdressed, and small portion. Side potatoes were okay. Looking at the pomme frites they are likely the better option. Duck confit with eggs was solid and flavorful and would order it again.
Extremely overpriced for the quality. Much better choices in downtown SLO. $52 for a ribeye. That’s known as the poor man’s cut of steak. They are out of touch with reality.
Amazing ambience and service. Food was amazing! Would recommend
Menu is small but we really enjoyed everything we ate. The patio was warm and cozy and the service was great.
Fabulous meal in a delightful setting with impeccable service. Had a delightful relaxing Valentine's Day dinner on the patio next to a fire pit which made it cozy and comfortable. All the dishes were very good and the wine pairing enjoyable.
Celebrated Valentines dinner with pre fixed menu. Outstanding! Compliments to the Chef! Excellent staff, excellent Ambience! Will be back when in the area again!
It was surprising that at 7pm, two of main entrees were not available, leaving just a few choices for the 4 of us,
Loved the food, the sunchokes with the steak were unique. And the Turkey pot pie special was amazing. Our waitress Story made the dinner even more enjoyable on their beautiful outdoor patio out back, which had fire pits to keep us warm.
Story was our waitress and she was very good. I had a salad with fig, and a small pumpkin risotto. Both were really good. My husband had pork and said it was pretty good. I had two old fashions and my husband had to Bombay Sapphire gin on the rocks. Love the ambience. My only complaint was the bread puddingWhich was the special of the night. It was on the pricey side but I took some home and had it and it was just OK.
Great food. Service was awesome and fast. Love the back patio, super quiet and very beautiful! And warm even on a cold night!
Delicious and beautiful atmosphere
The hotel and restaurant is beautiful and our waitress, Storey, was great.
It was windy but the dinner was worth it. Will recommend to friends - already
have posted on FB about it. My only complaint is that we decided to get a slice
of pumpkin pie at the end of our meal and we waited a longggggggggggggg time
for it and later regretted adding the pie. Not sure what happened! Maybe waited
30 min? longer than our regular meal!!!!!!!!!!
We went here for Thanksgiving Dinner and it was absolutely perfect! Great drinks, food and delicious desserts - what more do you need??
With all dining outside now, it's hard to fairly judge "ambience." We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in the afternoon. Excellent food and service. Garden Street provides an attractive outdoor setting, there were issues with heaters not working and wind picking up towards the end of our meal. The first is controllable, the second not so much. But it's 2020 and that's how it is! We will return.
Thanksgiving meal for 2 during covid-19. Has comfy outdoor seating, properly spaced with heating lamps and personal fire pits to keep you warm. Elegant food. The salmon was outstanding- skin was crisped to perfection while the fish remained moist. Very tasty! Steak ordered as rare/medium-rare and it was cooked to that exact request. Difficult to do yet they succeeded brilliantly. Interesting wine list, featuring local wines and from France. Enjoyed a rare grape varietal from Thacher, a local winery. We enjoyed the wine so much, we went to visit next day. Will return to restaurant when back in SLO.
We decided to check out the Brasserie in Thanksgiving because it is in new hotel and we like trying new places. It is lovely and the service was great. We also enjoyed the food and the extensive wine list!
The restaurant has a wonderful upscale decor and back courtyard is filled with warm fireplace and oak trees and soft romantic lights and pastel colour cushions, really inviting and comfortable atmosphere, my fiancé and I had an excellent dining experience there, food is delicious and waitress service is very personal and professional, overall, we were impressed and will definitely recommend to others and we will be back soon.
I dont know if they have two menus, but I hope they do because I kind of feel like I recieved a bar menu. The original menu they gave us you had to scan and look up on your phone but we didnt have a phone. The photos I see online of different plates were not on our menu
We had such a great dinner here. There were lots of vegan options, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They made a wonderful vegan risotto for us and the cauliflower and ratatouille were perfect.
Friendly and attentive staff, excellent ambiance and delicious food. We were very impressed! Excellent kids menu as well.
My husband & I have done very little eating out during covid. The few times we have, we were disappointed. That wasn’t the case at Brasserie. Service was outstanding, our meals were delicious and the ambiance was lovely! We will definitely be back!
Great vibe, good food. Highly recommend!!
