BRIO Tuscan Grille - Lombard - The Shops on Butterfield
Always a good experience but this time it seemed that the prices had gone up.
Waiter bought dessert for the two birthday girls.
Food and service was absolutely excellent. A great value for what we spent. We will definitely be going back. Thanks for a great time.
This was our first time at brio. The weather was lovely and we sat out on the patio. Our waiter John was extremely attentive and helpful in recommending some menu choices. We are looking forward to enjoying their patio again and other items off the menu.
The food was excellent and the weather was beautiful. We had dinner with friends on the outdoor patio. It was a nice evening.
The food was outstanding and the service was great. Great restaurant would recommend to everyone.
Pasta and chicken entrees are always spot on; however, seems most offerings are chicken based. What ever happened to their wonderful pork chop or is that for dinner only.
Based on my latest visit there, I wld not rec Brio. While the atmosphere is quite nice, my meal - chicken limone was so/so. I substituted angel hair pasta for mashed potatoes, but the pasta had none of the lemon flavor of the main dish. Tasted like they just took it out of the water, drained it and put it on the plate.
We ate on the patio and it was splendid! The atmosphere at Brio is perfect for any occasion. Very enjoyable!
Been here a few times and the food is always delicious!
This is always our go to restaurant. Lived at the Oak Brook Towers for 23yrs and always liked Brio.
Always come after our Drury Lane outing on Sundays. Yesterday met 2 other retired co-workers there for lunch. Always warn the waitress, we will be there for sometime ,as we like to gab. We were there for quite a few hrs. and she was so obliging. I now live in Carol Stream, but everytime I am back in the area, we head for Brio.
The food is way over priced for what you are getting. I can cook a better meal at home. The chicken was ok, the shrimp was way over cooked and the pasta was way under cooked. It took forever to place out order. The waiter never checked on us after we got the meal to see how we were doing. The place was empty for a Saturday as well. He was quick though to give us the check and wait around for us to pay and for his tip. Needless to say, he got only 10%. I should have left nothing. I will not be going to this restaurant ever again. Go to Maggiano's if you want Italian Cuisine!
Thank you Luis for providing us with outstanding service!!
First time to Brio … came highly recommended by a friend. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely visit again.
We were very disappointed by how slow everything was -- not sure if any of it was the server. We ordered a drink when we sat down, and it took over 10 minutes to arrive, even though there were hardly any customers in the place. Obviously, one bartender is not sufficient to take care of the whole restaurant. Then the appetizer/salad took another long time, and when we had asked for bread, that took nearly 20 minutes because, the server said, they were waiting for it to come out. Again, there was a long wait for our entrees (but they were very good when they finally arrived).
Brio has long been one of my favorite restaurants, but if we found these long delays again, we would reconsider coming back again.
Service was fantastic. The only downside was the lasagna which was bland. Need to find a new recipe.
happy bd card and dessert!!
Great food ... however very slow service. It took quite some time to even get bread. However we were offered a free dessert once manager realized
Disappointed in the service, which was nonexistent and food. Food took a loooong time and no one ever checked on us at all to see if we needed anything. Food was nothing special.
Food was good.
We would highly recommend dining al fresco. Patio was quiet and conducive to conversation. Nice view both sun and shade tables plus no bugs! Very relaxing and good for lunch.
Lovely outdoor dining, good food and great service.
This was my first time at Brio for lunch. It was delightful. The menu offered just enough choices and the servings were proportionately right. The food is fresh and good.
Really, really good food. Not a 5 star restaurant but we didn’t want one. Service was wonderful. Didn’t notice any noice which is so difficult to find these days! Beautiful decor.
Great experience on a warm summer evening. We sat outside and enjoyed alfresco dining. Our server, Allyson was helpful and friendly. She made some great recommendations. Portion sizes were excellent. Had plenty to take home.
Will return soon.
We want to give the manager on duty on Tuesday, July the 16th 10 stars for accommodating our request to sit outside. When we arrived at 7:00pm, the patio had been closed due to intermittent rains during the day. But by 7, the rains had long passed and it was a beautiful evening. The manager, I believe her name is Allie, agreed, and she and a coworker went out to the patio to prepare the tables and sweep the leaves off the floor. After we were seated, 4 or 5 other parties quickly joined in. Our server, Alexis, was fantastic. She was so pleased to be serving the guests on the patio that evening. The food was excellent and very nicely presented. We had a wonderful experience that evening. Our thanks for a memorable evening.
Outdoor dining was great. It was a lovely evening. The service was great. So happy to see gluten free options. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was good although the drinks seemed a little watered down. Otherwise a really nice experience. We will be back.
Sat outside and had the pleasure of listening to their regular Thursday night happy hour singer....he was quite good. Oh yeah, the food was delish, as always. Our server was great too, with the one exception of forgetting to bring us olive oil and parm cheese for the bread. Other than that, she was super sweet and attentive.
Sat outside. Nice but would be nice if Brio extended Happy Hour hours.
Service was slow but the good thing is we didn’t feel rushed.
We come to your restaurant very often. However in the last six months it has changed. You menu is not as good as it was, particularly the mushroom ravioli. I ordered this with Mariana sauce and it was awful. You served me just boiled tomatoes. Very bad, since I cook a lot of Italian dishes at home. Your mushroom ravioli in the past was excellent and in fact I would come here just for that particular dish. I think you should put it back on your menu. Corporate needs to understand the wishes of the customers and readjust their menus.Hope you will take the advice of your faithful customers or your restaurant will be forced to close its doors.
Great dining experience! One of our favorites
Had a separate and decent gluten free menu which we really appreciated. Tastes of our choices over all were fine, nothing mind blowing but fine. Service was ok. Server was polite but even though we went early (5:30), we felt like we were rushed. Sat down at 5:30, bill paid at 6:15. Had to ask for additional drinks, was not offered a dessert menu or coffee. Was brought the bill right after plates were cleared. That was a bit odd. Ambiance was nice, perhaps if we had a different server experience the overall impression would have been better.
Great service - love the new menu
We had a nice meal we sat outside
We come often we love it
Great service, seated right away, food was excellent, and they did not rush us AT ALL!
Nice patio area and the food was good. It was a good place to go with a group of friends. Not too loud.
Large portions, good food, the service was not the best
