Buddha Asian Bistro

I really love Buddha Asian Bistro. My family and I go there often for dinner. All the food is very tasty, especially the chicken dumplings, the wonton soup and the honey ribs. The list goes on and on. Great food, wonderful staff, good value.
Always great at Buddha!!
We are “regulars” at Buddha and always enjoy the food and the service. There is a wide variety of Asian dishes and each cuisine is good. The staff is attentive and gracious but not intrusive. We always have a most pleasant dining experience.
Great food, spot-on service, impeccably clean. We were in a bit of a hurry to catch a movie and they easily accommodated us. We only had a couple of soups, salads, and an appetizer, but they were all excellent. We’re looking forward to returning to try other menu items.
Very noisy spot - large open venue. Decent option if you are in Dobbs Ferry right of Saw Mill Parkway. Waiter did not get order quite right but food was good and service was prompt.
Experienced good service - food was good, as well. Not too busy in the middle of the week. Parking is easy.
It is worth a try
A favorite of ours
Go every few weeks
Awesome food. Great experience.
The restaurant is very beautifully constructed. Lots of space and a real Zen like feeling. The menu was diverse and the choices we made were very good. Lots of food. The service was very attentive and helpful.
It was my first time going to the Buddha Asian Bistro, have heard how great the food is (but pricey). The food was excellent. The place looks great and found the price average. I tried the Lady Gaga (was excellent). Will be going back again.
Nice restaurant, easy and plenty of parking available. Extensive menu, well presented and ample portions. Service was adequate.
Very impressed. We felt welcomed n respected. The waitress was very friendly n gave us our pace to order .GOOD FOOD.
I had a great time at dinner here. The service was great. They were very helpful suggesting different rolls for me to try. The food here is always good & the drinks are great. I will definitely return here
Beautiful restaurant! Very clean. Friendly waitstaff and great food.
Did not like that the suggested tip amounts at the bottom of the bill were based on the total bill, inclusive of taxes. On a 18
We love this restaurant. Great service, beautiful decor and amazing food. Best sushi in all of Westchester.
The food at Buddha is fresh, creative and beautifully presented. The restaurant is very attractive, with tables spaced well for conversation. You could easily make a meal from the Asian Tapas alone!
This was our first time visiting the Buddha. It was a freezing cold Monday evening and we came for an early dinner before the movies. There were only a few other diners but this was expected for the time and day. We party of 3 was seated immediately and our server greeted us with a smile.
The restaurant is actually quite nice with high ceilings and an "open" feel. Tables were generously spaced so there would be no chair bumping.
The menu was wide ranging with Asian inspired and classic choices. We had the cold sesame noodles & assorted Dim Sum for an appetizer and Sesame Chicken, Orange Beef and Grilled Shrimp entrees.
The dumplings - 3 or 4 type,s were hot and tasty and included pork, shrimp & vegetable varieties. Oddly one side of one dumpling was undercooked but that's about the "worst" part of the meal. Sesame noodles were competent but not the best we've ever had we would order them again so no harm.
The entrees wer all ampley portioned and serve piping hot. All three of the choices were delicious. If anything the Orange Beef could have been a bit more "spicy" and a few of the slices were a bit tough.
Dessert - we had the Fried Ice Cream and the Chocolat Cake. The Cake was a better choice.
Over all I would rate the experience at "Very Good" and plan on returning!
We love this place. Beautiful and the best sushi in Westchester. Ignore the Open Table stars and check out Google. It’s a better picture of what people think. I highly recommend.
Food was good with a variety of asian specialties. Service was very good. It wasn't a full house so it was easy to talk and hear one another.
Food was delicious. Staff was for the most part pleasant.
Everything except the hibachi noodles was dismal, gloppy, cornstarch-slick mess. And this is NOT a hibachi restaurant, advertising notwithstanding -- they do all the "cooking" in the kitchen. A nauseating experience we will not repeat. (Especially beware the "Thai curry" sauce, which has no coconut milk but plenty of cornstarch).
This is an ok restaurant. Service was slow and lackluster. Food was good. Huge menu selection. It pretty much is what it is.
Nice decor. Lots of space between tables. Service and food was average. The menu is okay, but nothing special. We are willing to try it again and order something different.
Good selection of sushi, Chinese, and Thai food. Some unusual dishes that include sea urchin.
Always great food and ambience. The Lady Gaga roll is always A1.
Came here just cause of the location and ambience ...best music if your into light house or trance ! The sushi is even better!! Clean and nice presentation and plenty of staff !!! Came here for my one year
The server we had did not have a good command of English. One of my items was incorrect, but it was acceptable enough to eat it. She also stared out the window instead of looking at her tables. We tried to signal her a number of times but she didn't look our way.
Good food, varied selection, and good service. Also conveniently located for someone driving from the Greater New York Riverdale area.
I ordered the Hibachi Chicken meal and it was great. They don’t serve hibachi in front of you like other restaurants do, but the food was still good. The service wasn’t that good. Because of that, I may order online instead. Overall, there are better hibachi places, but this one isn’t terrible.
A different take. We had the hibachi dishes but, it was not prepared on the grill in front of us. Still, it worked and we left satisfied.
Place was empty yet it took forever to get our drinks. Servers didn't seem to be trained properly.
Service was very good, and the food was decent. Menu is a bit overwhelming, as there are a lot of choices. Would love to go back and try the sushi. They should add coffee to the menu.
Main advantage for us was the restaurant was open late, but while the décor and ambiance was glamorous, unfortunately it was fast food type quality. We expect they knew it because no one asked us how everything was after food delivery. And at the end, no orange slices, no fortune cookies. Disappointing experience. I generally do not like writing such reviews because small businesses make an effort these days to survive, but there was a large essentially all-female birthday party going on in an adjoining room so I expect local business is good. For us from NYC we required something better and there was simply no obvious effort made towards hospitality.
Overall it was just ok. Anticipated because they are part of the chain they would have cooked hibachi style at the table, they did not yet used the same menus. Food was okay, presentation ok, price point for location was ok in summary - just okay...
Cavernous uninteresting space, ok service and at best “ok” food. Definitely not in a rush to return.
