Had a wonderful lunch. Flavorful food. Amazing desserts. Recommended it to my husband for work dinner and they lived it too.
I love Cabra...the food, the views, the ambiance. But some of their servers have serious attitudes. In my opinion, in a place like Cabra you shouldn’t have to wave your waiter down and wait for ages for a drink.
Food wise - always say yes to the empanadas and the pisco sour. The avocado dip, salchipapas, handrolls, and desserts are amazing too. Those sweet potato donuts are so good!
I definitely recommend Cabra, the food and ambiance make it worth a visit.
Vibrant atmosphere with deliciously complex food. Can't wait to go back!
The tasting menu was delicious. Maaaaybe not worth the long wait for reservations BUT the food was another hit out of the park fro a Stephanie Izard. Get the pisco sour fo sho. Also just have the tasting menu, worth it.
Our waitress was so attentive and gave us amazing suggestions and really made me feel special on my birthday! The duck Ceviche was to freakin die for!
Another gem from Stephanie Izard. Enjoyed everything would have. Will definitely go back!
It was a good experience and the foo was good also. Nothing over the top.
Interesting mix of flavors and unique combinations of food. Wonderful from beginning to end. The quinoa tuna and pickled beet salad is particularly amazing! Great evening!
Phenomenal. Good happy hour!
Cabra was a beautiful setting with a beautiful view and beautiful food! Our service was outstanding, the food was unique and we enjoyed every dish. The duck ceviche was a favorite, as were all of the desserts. Thanks for a memorable evening!
I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions, or any situations where you have 4-6 people to eat. Its smaller dishes so having more people lets you try more things for a better price! We came on my birthday, a group of 5 of us, and we all had an amazing time! Our waitress was amazing and was always checking to make sure we had gotten everything we ordered. I highly recommend the sours and the bottles of wine (especially if you're sharing they're a bargain!). The only downside is that the lighting is very very low in this restaurant. So, if you have anyone that cannot see well it might be difficult for them.
Very rude server. Never coming back.
I went for lunch and would definitely recommend getting the black plantain waffle. It was insane!! The vibe is so relaxed and beautiful at Cabra but it is a little pricey.
Cabra was INCREDIBLE. From the service to the food to the ambiance - everything was amazing. Sylvester, our server, answered all our questions, was friendly and personable, made great suggestions, and we loved him! Mario, the manager, came over and introduced himself and they even gave my boyfriend a dessert for his bday. They were incredibly hospitable. Highly suggest the mixto ceviche, the pisco of the day, and the brownie dessert. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in so long! All the decor was beautiful - can’t wait to go back in the summer with the rooftop open!
Great food and great service made for an unbelievable experience! Went for my and my girlfriends anniversary and was not disappointed. If you’re looking to try something new and exciting, Cabra is the place to go!
Food, drinks and service was all amazing!
Fabulous innovative eats. The setting is comfy and the vibe is great. Make it your next destination for a good time.
The food is very flavorful and inventive but it is expensive. If you are hungry get the sandwiches.
Great choice for food and atmosphere. It was our first time there.
Made a reservation for a good time of night. Wasn’t too crowded yet at 6pm on a Thursday. We were sat at a table that had a couch on one side and a comfy chair for seating, which was pretty comfortable. We will definitely come back for the lunch or brunch menu.
A wonderful place. We look forward to coming back again.
Loved the goat inspired dishes! Stephanie and her team are always creative. The original ceviche, smoked tuna, and lamb neck were standouts. We’ll go back for their tasting menu soon!
A wonderful tasting menu and the bartenders are great too!! A little noisy, but full of energy and fun.
Food was delicious. Great presentation with new flavor combos. Really enjoyed the staggered delivery that kept up to our enjoyment pace. Refreshing rooftop atmosphere, on the noisy side, however still able to converse at normal levels.
Thought the menu very limited. What we had was very good. The octopus which had rave reviews barely existed on the plate. Had to get up and go to bar myself to get ice. So service not that great. Probably would not return. However, space very inviting.
The food was very good tasting and unique.
We knew that this was a sharing plate experience; however the servings were slightly on the small side and usually were not substantial enough for our party of 4 even though 2 of us are very light eaters.
Our waiter was not very helpful and at times very aloof.
He was not around very much.
It felt like we were troubling him when we asked questions, and he would not offer any descriptions or suggestions unless directly asked.
The people who brought out the food were actually much more helpful and more friendly than our waiter.
Nonetheless, I would still try it again--hopefully it will be with a more friendly waiter that would enhance the experience.
Only complaint was is was very dark in the area of the restaurant we were at making it difficult to read the menus and see the food.
Food is pretty devine but portions are tiny for the price. Love the decor and atmosphere. Great cocktails!
Fabulous birthday dinner!
Food was great, loved the casual seating vibe and atmosphere. Our waiter was scattered and not very attentive, but was knowledgeable. Rooftop area was cool too with the open ceiling at the ends.
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at Cabra. We happened to arrive early on a Thursday and the the Happiest (Happy) Hour menu was available. This menu included some of the popular items from the traditional menu (empanadas, chicken thigh, etc.) as well as drink specials. The restaurant seating flows into the bar area, so people sort of grab tables even though they may be reserved. As such, if you’re thinking this is a place for a quiet dinner/date, it’s not, so just set your expectations accordingly. There are nice outdoor areas, but were closed due to the fact it’s winter. I’d highly recommend choosing about 2-3 small dishes a person (not including the larger portioned entrees).
As usual stephanie does not disappoint! Amazing food and a gorgeous day to take in the view.
The food was excellent and ambiance even better! Loved it.
The food was outstanding, we had the tasting menu and were blown away. Absolutely loved the gorgeous beef hearts, the smoked aji and truly divine carrots, but everything was delicious!!
Great location and atmosphere - and always a wonderful menu by Chef Izard. HIGHLY recommend!
Nice place. Menu is a little vague, had about 3
All of the dishes were so delicious and flavorful - beautiful presentation as well.
Pro: Overall, Cabra us amazing. The food is unreal, the flavors wildly refreshing and very unique. The cocktails are inventive and delicious.
Con: Cabra’s food and flavor is amazing, but the atmosphere doesn’t know what it wants to be. Too loud, but then intimate seating in certain parts. The couch tables by the entrance are wildly inconvenient for eating and conversation.
