St Catharines hidden gem! This is the best restaurant in the city for anything from a romantic dinner for 2 to a celebration for a big group. Well priced and delicious food, make sure you save room for dessert!

Things have changed in regards to food. Less food higher prices. Likely reflective of increased minimum wage.

Very nice atmosphere, excellent fresh food, friendly wait staff and good value.

We went for my daughter's 16th birthday. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Food was quick to come out with other staff assisting with bringing out food together. I had the mushroom ravioli which was super delicious. Desserts were also amazing!

I love Cafe Amore as they offer angel hair with the pasta selection. I don’t care for a lot of pasta. Chicken parm is delicious.

My partner and I have been coming to this lovely restaurant for a few years now due to a relative’s recommendation. The food is absolutely incredible (especially the Black & Blue Pasta) and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Please don’t hesitate to try this place out, you will not be disappointed.

We went for my granddaughters 4th birthday. They brought her food out before the rest of the table so she became bored by the time our meals came out, the same with dessert. The food was delicious.

My only complaint is the long wait for the bill. Our evening with dinner for 4 people took 3 hours. The food was very good, and we will go again, but service was just way too slow. It just seemed like forever to get our coffee and dessert, and then the bill.
They could repair the torn bench seats too.

Its a fair restaurant the food is pretty good they do need training when it comes to serving, for example you don't serve from one end of the table expecting customers to hand drinks to one another, water must be scarce in that end of town because I didn't get a refill nor did I ask cause its something a good waiter/waitress does as part of the job. I left a 15% tip on a $200 tab

I was happily surprised how wonderful the pizza was that I ordered! My gosh, I can’t wait to go back and have it again. They use 00 flour, the dough is nice and thin and the pizza that I had was spicy but had a bit of honey on it - you wouldn’t believe how it works well together. A bit of spicy and sweet. The fellow that served our table was a great guy, competent and friendly.
We were greeted at the door, immediately brought to our table and the restaurant has a very relaxed feeling. I highly recommend this place and also highly recommend the pizza that I had! Enjoy!!!

Happy with everything. We spent several hours there catching up with old friends and our server didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Food was awesome. Made for a nice dinner and evening with our friends.

First time here although I used to go to the Lake Street location years ago. Sandwiches were tasty, ingredients fresh. Save room for dessert if you like sweets

I enjoy their pizzas and salads. The chicken sandwich also was very flavourful. Sweet waitress too!

Reserved a table for my mother’s birthday for 6 pm. Was seated right away. Food took a very long time, felt like the food was sitting under heat lamps. Haddock Valencia was over cooked and dried out.

Outstanding server, food was tasty but only lukewarm. When we mentioned this to our server she did offer to heat it. We declined and were given a complimentary dessert in lieu of that.

Cafe Amore is our favourite place to take friends who visit from out of town. The service is excellent, the food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Most recently, we had family with us who follow a gluten free diet, and they were amazed at the selection of gluten free items on the menu. The waitress and owner went out of their way to make sure their dietary needs were met. Well done! Love this place!

I booked the reservation on our anniversary, and indicated that in the reservation booking, but it was not acknowledged. We weren’t even asked if it was a special occasion. I felt like I was in a fast-food restaurant. Well, to be fair, other tables were served faster than us, but it was certainly not as I had expected. Good place to eat, but certainly not for a special occasion. You would think they’d make a effort to seat us at a more intimate table or booth, but whatever. Don’t think I’ll be going back there again.

We were pushed into an added table setting that was awkward to get in and out. The pizza was not good ... soggy and flavourless

Love the wood oven pizza and the wide selection of desserts.

We had an 8pm reservation on a Friday night. Place was a little busy. A couple that walked in minutes after us was sat first but that's about the one critical thing I have to say. The food and service were exceptional. I had the mussels and garlic shrimp.

I was disappointed as I anticipated our dinner all day after a long work week. My egg plant lasagna was cold through out as the sauce in my pasta.
The young couple across from us perhaps (17-18) was incredibly loud. I actually left my after Dinner coffee.

We were there for our monthly cousins dinner and enjoyed it as always. Food is always delicious and service always great!

what an unexpected gem!... tucked away in a strip mall - it's an unassuming place with a great European vibe and a fabulous menu...

the wood-baked pizza is as great as I've had in Italy... we didn't have alcohol so I can't speak to their range of wine - but if it's as good as the pizza and dessert - I'm sure you won't be disappointed!...

the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive but not hovering... overall - I *will* be going back!

Excellent meal and good value!! The lamb and garlic mashed are a must. The chicken parmigiana was homemade and delicious !!
