Service wasn't very good.We waited order drinks like 15 min.Different food arrived what We actually ordered.We have to ask about change from bill.Not very nice experience.

The service was very rapid. The Snails were not very good as there were mixed with Mushrooms.

This was a family outing with my 2 daughters & 4 grandchildren, table booked for 12.30 pm with tickets booked for Windsor Castle time was important to us. We had 2 offers with us 40% off mains or free kids meal with every adult meal, it depended whether my eldest grandson had a childs meal or a main as to which one was used. We decided on the free childs meal with every main as he had a childs meal. All went well until we were waiting to order desserts, I had to get up and ask to order desserts, after two reminders the desserts finally turned up after about 35 mins, although we were missing one Eton Mess and one childs ice cream. My Eton Mess, the first 1 to arrive, was quite 'runny & soft' I could have complained but I was beginning to loose the plot. 2 of my grandsons didn't have the childs drink, 1 had tap water, free and 1 had cola,chargable.The fun really started when I asked for the bill, as well as being charged for 4 childs meals we had 4 extra charges, 2 childs starters @ £2.50 each and 2 childs ice creams @ £1.50 each, an extra £8.00 when I queried it I was told 'but you have 3 x £6.95 deducted, this was the offer!!!!) and the 4 childs meals were included in the bill. After some heated conversation the bill was returned to me but still £4.00 too much, 1 child starter @ £2.50 & 1 child ice cream @ £1.50. Your member of staff Bertrand was quite adamant it was correct, at this stage I asked for a calculator and we added up the bill manually and guess who was right, ME!!!!!! So I paid and we left. With the wait for desserts and the confrontation over bill we finally left at 2.45 pm in my opinion probably an hour wasted which we could have spent in the castle which was the main reason for our trip that day. What I find really annoying is that with many overseas visitors how many others are being 'RIPPED OFF'? We eat regularly in your Reading & Henley restaurants and will continue to do so BUT WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RETURNING TO WINDSOR. Pizza Express next time.

Food was okay. The service was very diappointing we had to request several times for drinks to be told by server I do not do drinks I will send someone over. This then took another 15 mins and only because we had raise our voice for attention not good considering we spent £145.00 compared to Ruislip when we go too at three times a month it is very poor.

We were one of a few tables as we dined early. Great service - friendly waitress who was attentive without over doing it. Quick arrival of food / drinks and kids activities was an added bonus (wordsearch / french food translations etc). Thank you

All the staff at Cafe Rouge Windsor are excellent in every way. They make us so welcome by their attitude to customers their help in choosing the right menu and accompanying wines.The food is delicious and plentiful besides being freshly cooked.all in all an excellent meat

Booked Windsor Café Rouge for 5 people to celebrate my Birthday. Had a voucher for a free bottle of fizzy wine when spending £30. 2 of us really love moules & this restaurant is the only 'chain' which serves them. Cannot express how disappointed we were to be told that moules were not available that night. We went somewhere else. This has happened before at a different Café Rouge, so I guess I should have rung before we arrived.

We had the lunch set menu which had a good choice of dishes and excellent value. We all ate two courses and were full :-)

Great food and really good service. The restaurant was really nice - very well laid out (your not crammed in) and we were not rushed out the door. Definitely return.
