warm staff and delicious food in a little hidden lane. memorable evening- hope to be back again!!!
I just love this place. Our company recently relocated to this part of the financial district and I’ve been there half a dozen plus times for business meals…lunch and dinner. Initially wasn’t sure based on the location (a little restaurant row) but I understand they’ve been there for over 30 years, so that’s a true testament of quality in San Francisco to survive that long. Food is outstanding and the staff is engaging in a fun way. Highly recommend adding this place to your list. .
Customer service are friendly but the food is okay!
New year Eve
This is a little gem in SF! This Italian restaurant is authentic and lovely. The servers are very kind, attentive, and have a sense of humor! The pasta is fresh and cooked to perfection. The ravioli is wonderful and the gnocchi is fluffy and flavorful. The chicken and pork are also great choices. They have an extensive wine list to chose from as well. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it! It’s a wonderful place for date night or a special occasion!
I love this place!!
Food was good. Overpriced
Service was below expectations
Great food, wonderful staff. The owners are present and it shows in the service and quality of the food. I felt like I was in Italy. The short ribs on a bed of risotto was pure perfection.
Dinner with 9 family members. Authentic Italian experience where the meal takes 3 hours and you have to ask for Il Conto (the check), fantastic food takes time, mussels, pizza, pasta, seafood, lots of dessert options. Waiter was friendly but busy, they were sweet to the kids.
The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food!
Excellent customer service and food!
This place is fabulous and they treat you like family.
Wonderful. A great discovery. Food is outstanding and it is such an enjoyable place. Highly recommend.
In the middle of financial district skyscrapers, you’ll find the romantic alley to incredible food. You will love their namesake dessert. It’s been the same recipe for 32 years. We’re glad we found it and will be coming back.
Booked this place, at least a month in advance for dinner for celebrating hubby's birthday. It turned out to be a rainy, windy, cold SF evening. All we wanted was to be seated outdoor with enough heat and wind cover on top of our heads. In spite of plenty of such options being available, the waiter did not accommodate our request and we were seated out in the cold, almost next to the street with the excuse that the other tables were reserved. We only saw couple of these getting occupied during our time. Apart from this weirdly, unfair service, the food was really good! The warm, fresh bread was the star.
The food was excellent and great wine selection. It was busy and our waiter had a lot of table but still did a great job.
Made a reservation, still got sat outside for some reason, one manager (?) was super rude, the other was super nice. The pasta was just ok, pizza was delicious. Also, not the place for younger kids; save yourself the stress.
Great food. Fabulous Branzino. Excellent pasta. Friendly service.
Awesome service. They are polite and able to accommodate our Vegetarian only requests. Overall we enjoyed the dinner. This is our third time at this place, we dont mind going back again.
The owners of Cafe Tiramisu are very nice and friendly.
Service felt like we were in Italy. Waiting for service and servers to check in was excruciatingly long. Food was great and bartender is friendly.
I have been going to this restaurant for years. I am never disappointed! We sat outside under an awning and the alley seemed festive on a lovely Christmas SF day. I recognized the same waiter that has been there for years. The veal ravioli was delicious! Service great as usual.
Belden alley used to be a really fun, high energy street. Now it is dead except for cafe tiramisu and cafe Bastille.
The food was very bland and that is not good for Italian, the energy is also very low. If you want great Italian and great energy go to Pazzia on 3rd Street.
The closest experience we’ve had to bring back in Italy! The service was outstanding, they made you feel like home. And the quality of the food was exceptional—again, we felt like we were in Italy! Would recommend this 100x to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal! Our families will remember this dinner for a long time.
The arugula salad was delicious and so was the Cesar we had to start. The lobster escargot was a clever creation and tasty. The ribeye was excellent.
Sat outside next to a heater which kept us comfortably warm. Service was outstanding. We had salads, beautifully dressed not drenched like you get in some restaurants, pasta with savory sauces served nice and hot, and shared a secondi of chicken scallopini which was tender and delicious. With a glass of wine and a plate of focaccia bread it was a wonderful meal. We were too full for desert but will be back the next time we are in the city and will try to save room for some creme brulee or tiramisu.
Very friendly staff and great food. The kitchen was a little slow and the seating a little cramped in spots. Otherwise, a wonderful evening.
Some of the best pasta and pizza we’ve had outside of Italy.
Don’t miss the ragu, and the carbonara pizza is a MUST!
The food here does not disappoint. Authentic Tuscan food just like Italy.
An amazing restaurant. Great food and staff. So friendly. Awesome wine list. We all loved it. I seldom write reviews but a don’t miss.
Staff is always so nice and the food is always so good with new things to try on the menu every time
We had a pleasant evening dining outside at Tiramisu. The food is incredible—the octopus appetizer was delicious; and the pappardelle Bolognese was out of this world!
We went to Cafe Tiramisu for lunch last week and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the wonderful service. They were very accommodating. Everything we had was delicious. There were five of us and most of us had the Pappardelle with a meat sauce and of course their delicious Tiramisu. It was also terrific they took reservations which was important to us. We would definitely go back.
Very good food. The reviews are right! The pasta and fish dishes are amazing
Pasta was great!
Excellent Italian meal. Very welcoming - very Italian host and servers. Varied menu
The place was very cute! Staff was nice enough. Food was very mediocre though. We went for restaurant week and it wasn’t worth the money unfortunately.
A great find in great location. Greeted by the owner for a memorable evening
