Absolutely the best !!
Wonderfully presented and delicious from start to finish. The service was attentive and friendly.
Truly a remarkable experience. Campton Place is extraordinary in every way. From the friendly & professional staff to the exquisite cuisine, we enjoyed every moment at Campton Place. In addition to a beautiful & delicious meal, there were many delightful surprises along the way. We were celebrating a special occasion, and everything about the experience felt special. I highly recommend Campton Place.
Excellent experience. My wife and I went to Mourad and Spruce during this trip and although the food was excellent at both restaurants they both had flaws that showed why Campton Place has two stars and they have one.
Great execution, perfect service and attention to details by all serve staff working together and completely focused.
The food is inventive, marrying Indian spices and techniques with new world cuisine and takes on traditional Indian dishes. Every dish was ambrosial effort bringing joy to my wife and I.
The food and service were outstanding. I will definitely visit again.
Ford was good
This was one of the best meals I have ever had!! Every dish was interesting and delicious. I felt like a judge on Iron Chef America! They have 2 Michelin stars but this meal was certainly worthy of 3. We had such a grand time!
Great dinner for New Years! The food was excellent and there was live Jazz.
We have been to Campton Place several times in the past. We booked for New Year's Eve and from the moment we arrived a feeling of confusion and frustration seemed to fill the air. We had no issues with the table. We were greeted after sitting there for approximately 10 minutes by the sommelier with champagne, which we chose to order. Approximately 5 minutes later our waiter appeared. He appeared stressed and we immediately felt a feeling of 'rushed'. We were advised on how the menu was designed and what to expect. At that time, we requested a wine list. The wine list did not arrive until the final 'hors d'oeurvres' arrived (several bites later). That was because we flagged our waiter down and asked for it again. It appeared as though the kitchen was trying to serve everyone the same thing at approximately the same time. That did not happen for us. Perhaps it was the placement of our table. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our thousand dollar dinner. We did not feel the quality of the evening deserved the bill.
Outstanding 9p seating for NYE. Live music and all that comes with 5 star experience
The food was amazing - every dish had a great balance of flavors and beautifully presented. Our favorites on the day we went were the truffle naan, spice pot, lobster, lamb and wagyu beef. The service was impeccable and the host and each server took time to explain each dish.
The restaurant has a loud low rumble sound that was quite distracting. The food and service were very good. The wine pairing was not memorable. We recognize having to pay a premium for dining on Christmas Eve. The meal cost more than we could get a better meal elsewhere on another night. In the end it was worth it.
Amazing food and service.
Everything was excellent, from the first dish to the last. We will be back!
Great food. Okay Ambiance
Delicious and varied foods. The duck and lamb we're succulent and we'll seasoned.
Top notch. Best tasting menu experience I have had.
Amazing food in a quiet atmosphere. They added four amuse Busch beyond the regular tasting menu. Only dish that didn’t stand out was the black cod. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing dinner all around. The wine pairing was so unique, and the food was magnificent.
We were stunned! Absolutely amazing!!
Went for thanksgiving with my husband
5 course meal. Food and wine both very good however not worth 600 dollars
For a special festive occasion, this is a wonderful place!
Celebrate wedding anniversary every other year. My wife and I go-to high-end Michelin Star dining establishment.
Very good food and service. But still overpriced. They aggressively promote their $50/$90 glass of wine if they see you with a women.
Fabulous. Mixing South Indian with continental cuisine makes a magical combination. Excellent from top of the menu to bottom.
Overall the experience was an excellent place for any occasion. Restaurant itself was a really nice place. Even though this is my first time at this restaurant and have eaten Indian food somewhere else. This chef has given me the taste of his southern Indian food taste at a whole different palate. I love the presentations and the food was very yummy. I’m sure to go back with my date... maybe valentines or something. It’s a place to go back. :) Great for dates, special occasions, hang out with friends, in general elegant family dinner.
Unbelievable experience from beginning to end. We chose the Spice menu and put ourselves in the capable hands of the chef and sommelier.
Creative and delicious. Not at all traditional Indian dishes - rather Indian inspired using varied ingredients. Nothing too heavy or spicy, but flavors were interesting and fun.
An incredible evening of fine food, superbly paired wines and exceptional service.
Worth the money! The service was impeccable and the food hit the spot!
The food was inventive without being crazy. And the Indian flavors were beautiful and created a great theme. Wine pairings were very good. Can't wait to go back.
Special occasion treat to my in-laws. They had never experienced a tasting menu before and were visiting from India. It was their anniversary. They had a blast being pampered by the top-notch accommodating service and seeing the beautiful presentations with various flavors in the food, while still balancing the "Indian". The Cal-Indian was very much appreciated. Farm-to-table fresh and unique, but Indian flavors, without being an Indian meal.
The in-laws both did the veg spice route tasting menu, with 6 courses, which ended up being like 10 (with all the in-between dishes) and LOVED it. My husband and I took the Spice Route (regular, including non-veg- which happened to be focused on seafood and poultry during this visit, just the way I like it!) We both also loved our meals. I did get the impression the veg tasting menu was marginally "heavier" than the non-veg, especially because ours contained bass and scallops vs. jackfruit kabobs and cashew coconut curries etc.
We were also wowed by the desserts. It continues to amaze me that Campton does not have a separate pastry chef but churns out premiere desserts and chocolates. Having been to other Michelin star restaurants and tried other tasting menus, those hold their place, in this, holds its own. Definitely worth at least one visit despite the pricey side. Treat yourself. Cheers.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was! The food was inspired and delectable! We had the yoghurt croquettes, naan rolls, shishito peppers, string hopper and one other dish that was lovely. We could not get a dinner reservation, so we had lunch, which was divine. I have to add that we had dinner the night before, at a three star Michelin restaurant, and this lunch blew the doors off of that dinner!
A bit overpriced, but the food was excellent. Small portions, so you also need to make sure you get plenty of courses. The service was also very slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. That being said, I would come here again.
Our dinner there was happenstance because we were staying at the Hyatt across the street and we managed to snag a reservation at 9 pm. What luck and what a meal. The Indian inspired flavors were incredible. Such a delicate, interesting, lovely use of spices. Try the spice pot and the lamb. I will remember them forever.
One of the best dining experiences we’ve had. A fantastic variety of tastes with portions small enough not to overstuff, but in a number enough to keep one satisfied and excited with anticipation as to what will come next.
Excellent and creative menu, presenting modern South Indian flavors in eclectic dishes.
Although I didn't know of the pre fixe Cal-Indian cuisine, I was delightfully surprised by its flavors, textures and sensibilities
