One of the nicest venues we have visited. Lovely. Excellent service and view. Great wines.
Great visit for our 30th anniversary! Enjoyed walking around the vineyard it is very pretty. Wine was good but didn’t buy any.
We spent a lovely afternoon at Cellar Door doing a wine tasting. The winery is beautiful with lots of outdoor space. Wines were delicious and staff was super-friendly. We will definitely be back!
Always a wonderful experience. It was a lovely sunny day to sit out and enjoy not only the delicious wine but also the beautiful scenery. We love Cellar Door!
I would highly recommend Cellardoor Winery! The charcuterie board along with the wine flight that we choose paired perfectly. The staff were very helpful and made our visit enjoyable. It was also my Aunt’s birthday and we were treated to a prime spot on the deck. Definitely make the time to visit, you will not be disappointed.
They preselected 5 wines and we selected a cheese board. All were just fantastic!
The wines were lovely and sitting on the deck overlooking the vineyard with a slight rain was very relaxing.
I was blown away. As many times as I'd heard about Cellardoor, no one ever said how stunning it is! It could have been Napa! It is so serene. COVID protocols are closely observed. Everyone was gracious and helpful. Good selection of gift items.
Hopefully soon Cellardoor will be able to resume their full service wine tastings. The wine we love but truly disappointed with the tasting experience.
Absolutely great place to visit when in Maine. Wine is surprisingly good and the people are so gracious.
Disappointing. Their COVID rules are somewhat unique and definitely dampen the enjoyment. You get an overall impression the place is being run by the Gestapo (they really need to calm down) and the wine samples being placed in one time use plastic containers just takes the bisciut. Will come back once COVID is over and Cellar Door has calmed down.
Despite pandemic restrictions, we had a lovely visit. It was enjoyable to taste wines and snack on an excellent cheese plate on the deck. We also enjoyed a glass in the vineyard and took a case to bring home. Bettina and team were, as always, top notch.
We had fruit and cheese at the winery. The food was deliciously paired with the wine.
Great winery experience, lovely atmosphere, helpful staff and beautiful vineyard
Such a wonderful experience! A hidden gem. Excellent wines. Beautiful setting. Great service. Who needs CA when you can go to Cellar Door in Maine.
Awesome spot all around
10/10. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing wine and snacks. Top notch staff.
We love the Cellar Door Winery. This was our second trip there in 4 weeks. The building and grounds are beautiful and designed to fit into the location. The organizational skills of the owner are obvious everywhere. No one sits close together. There are many different opportunities to sit outside to sip wine and take in the gorgeous view. The inside is both elegant and rustic at the same time. The wine is terrific too! Our visits will be monthly. Cellar Door Winery is good for the soul.
The Cellardoor Vneyard is a beautiful setting.
This was a wonderful spot as part of my birthday celebration. The wine flights were great, our glass of wine wonderful and we came home with two bottles of wine we enjoyed. A lovely bottle of Syrah, 2015 and a bottle of Pinot Noir Blanc, 2018. Loved them both. Bettina is warm and inviting, the staff is great. What a beautiful setting to enjoy an afternoon.
Try the Ned said Red wine - the best!
We come from Boston just to get it!!
AMAZING WINERY! My husband and I traveled with our friends to Maine from Long Island, NY at the end of August 2021, for a short trip, of which Cellardoor Winery was absolutely the highlight! The winery is beautiful inside and out, with wonderful wines and a super team led by Petina....she is outstanding..... extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the winery and it's wines, energetic, and gracious! I cannot say enough!
My wife and I absolutely loved it!!
Food was delicious and the wine, superb! We had a wonderful time.
Nice beautiful winery! Doing a great job with Covid restrictions. We enjoyed the Summer Selection tasting flight and a cheese plate. We bought two bottles of Ned Said Red and we drank both bottles with some Italian food with friends that night. We sat in the Alcove. We will bring back!
This was a wine tasting only. Lovely facility. Self directed tasting left something to be desired
A pleasant wine tasting experience on a rainy day on the Maine Coast. Two or three of the wines were far above my expectations. Gerald (from Alabama)
We had a group of 8 people. It was so seamless getting in and getting the wine samples to taste. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. We never felt rushed and it was so relaxing. The wines were fantastic and we also enjoyed some charcuterie snacks as well. Afterwards we got a few bottles of wine and walked down to the beautiful pavilion where there were tables, chairs and rocking chairs. We sat in the rocking chairs, drank some wine and enjoyed the beautiful view of the vineyards. The whole experience was great. Everyone really enjoyed it. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. We will definitely be back!
Excellent wine tasting w friends from New Hampshire.
Birthday visit with my son. He loved his first experience at Cellardoor.
A spectacular must stop! Wide selections of wine, the most amazing scenery and wine barn! A truly special place.
My husband and I loved the winery. The view is magnificent!! The wine was exceptional, as well as the service.
We really enjoyed our visit to the winery. They have taken great steps to keep everyone safe. The wines were delicious! Highly recommend a visit.
We were quite disappointed having been there on a few dozen of occasions going back over 15 years. The winery has completely lost its intimacy, it’s personal touch, it’s conversational invitational and welcoming experience. This has been replaced by the move to commercialization and retailing. Very sad indeed. Always a family experience with acknowledging individual names now replaced with credit card processing and total lack of individual interaction. The customer experience of learning about the history and knowledge of the wines being tasted has been replaced with paper abstracts. - WOW- Will not return nor will our guests whom we so misled.
Terribly disappointed and a frequent customer, Scott and Sandy Flaig
The overall feel of the staff was very standoffish. We felt as if we were just another number in the crowd. Even though COVID regulations have made things different, that still should not be the reason to not be welcoming and want to make the guests feel welcomed. The staff did not check in to see if anything else was needed after our tastings. We waited around and no one was there to check on us. We were unsure of where to leave our trays/glasses, not a lot of direction was given. We also had to ask for plates and utensils for the food we bought, it was not provided. The tastings were set on top of the paper descriptions for the wine and the condensation had ruined the paper and it was extremely difficult to read. The overall check in at the register upstairs was very disorganized with a long line, despite advertising by reservation only. Which you would seem would make the line shorter. One of the staff workers was eating while suppose to be touching the cups/glasses for our tastings. Which makes me concerned about the cleanliness. Though the wine and location are both good, the wines and tastings were quite expensive.
Beautiful location with nice employees and delicious red, white and sparkling wines served with food perfectly paired. Absolutely will go again as soon as possible, it was busy even with reservations and outside seating. Thanks Cellardoor for your hospitality and great wines.
This place was super cute and fantastic! My wife and I had a really really good time!
Loved our visit, staff was super accommodating and nice. Wines are good, view is lovely. Gorgeous tasting room. Great way to spend an afternoon.
We didn’t eat; we just did the wine tasting. The outside was beautiful and inside was too. The merchandising display and selection was very attractive and enticing to get us to purchase wine, git’s, etc.
So nice! Staff was warm, professional, helpful and friendly. Wine tasting was fun and they have some very good wines! Tastings are self led, you can choose between red, white and mixed. We sat outside on the covered deck, incredibly beautiful view. Overall a really gorgeous place inside and out. Nice selection of cheese plates, crackers and snacks available. Really nice time!!
