    Charming, unsuspected French excellence. Food - divine with great selections; bravo to the chef. Wine - off the chart plentiful state of the art choices, as patrons replicate a paring wine for each course. Ambiance - small, intimate, as candles dance on tabletops and patrons sneak a conversation with each other. Waiters - cream of the crop, as owner-operator shares his love of all aspects of his establishment and his assistant sings happy birthday in Polish. It's more than a meal - it's entertainment!

    Visiting Portland for the first time. We found this wonderful local gem. Food was excellent though prices were high. Service was superb as were wines.

    C'est Si Bon! Bistro + Vins takes a very European approach to dining -- small, intimate setting, quiet enough that you can talk comfortably with your dinner companions, good food, and no rush to get you out the door, so you can take your time and enjoy the meal. We did the Prix Fixe menu with wine pairings, which provided multiple appetizers in addition to the main course and dessert. Portion size on the appetizers was reasonable, so despite the number of courses we were pleasantly satiated by meal's end, rather than stuffed to the bursting point. Every course was excellent, as was the wine. All in all, and great experience; we'll definitely be back!

    Second time eating here(first was pre-covid). Fabulous food, staff in a cozy bistro venue. Owner was wonderful, inviting, and quite knowledgeable. We highly recommend visiting this establishment. We will definitely return when we’re back in town. Loved it just as much as the last time.

    We were staying in Portland and looking for a small, intimate restaurant. We found it in C'est Si Bon. They do everything right by having a few tables and a limited menu so that service is very attentive and the meals are top notch. Quality vs. Quantity wins every time!

    Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the meal. Their “bouillabaisse Classique” was definitely not bouillabaisse more like fish broth (no fish) and very bland. The Duck confit was a small leg that was very dry. Small portions on everything - appetizers and entrees

    Always our go to for celebrating. The food is amazing and the service is personal. Owner John is engaged in the service and a key part of this small team. My advice would be to let John select the wine.

    Everything at C'est Si Bon was, as always, simply outstanding - the food, John and his staff, the intimate and lovely ambience - simply everything. Let John pick a wine for you - you will not be disappointed! Available parking across the street is an added plus. Hands down, my favorite Portland restaurant!!

    It was like entering a different world, cozy, warm and inviting. Great music, service unhurried . It is very classy when an establishment comes by and tops off your wine glass And the food was excellent. Don't skip the crepes.

    Phenomenal evening. Tiny little place (8-10 tables) that somehow turns out incredible dishes from a sliver of a kitchen. The owner John is the waiter and is quite attentive. A prix fixe menu is available, but we chose individual dishes. Started with an endive & prawn salad, followed by a soup of spring peas with mint. One of us had duck confit, and the other had bouillabaisse, both non-traditional but outstanding preparations. We had a very reasonably priced bottle of 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape french wine. The meal was topped off with a perfect crepe. We were even able to buy a bottle of the wine to take home with us ,although we will never be able to recreate the menu!

    We were pleasantly surprised with not only the food but the personal service that John (the owner) and staff provided. This was a very cozy and intimate restaurant with personal service that was amazing. Food was so delightful! I only wish the space had better ventilation because it did get quite smokey inside. Besides that, this is a hidden gem in Portland!

    We enjoyed our evening at C'est Si Bon. John was very helpful and informative about the Menu. We were seated immediately on arrival. I would have picked a different table, we were seated by the door and the evening sun was very strong if the blocking curtain was not in place I had the Bouillabaisse and my wife had the Duck Confit, both were tasty and well prepared. I started with Foie Gras which was very tasteful. We both had a pre-dinner drink, a Kir Royal and a French 68, we both loved them. John was particularly knowledgeable about the wines; I took his advice and selected a French white from Gascone, a great choice. unlike most of Portland, parking was a breeze, we parked almost right in front of the restaurant, a real Plus. I'd say try this restaurant and you'll be glad you did.

    Came here for an anniversary dinner. We had a wonderful and special night! Really good and unique dishes, and great cocktails. The owner was very friendly and handled a full house nearly single-handedly. Will be coming back to try the 5-course dinner.

    This was the best dinning experience we have had in quite some time. The cheese puffs and bone marrow dish really stand out. Outstanding service, well paced out and an incredible value for great cocktails, wine and fare.
