Cha Bella is a unique restaurant in Savannah. Almost all our of our menu is sourced from within driving distance of our restaurant. We are proud to partner with local farmers and fishermen to bring you wild caught local seafood and organic farm-raised beef, poultry, vegetables, fruits, eggs and cheese. We use these amazing ingredients when we create our seasonal dishes, homemade pasta and fresh-baked breads. We also offer world-class wines, craft beers, unique cocktails.

Our menu features the culinary creations of Chef Michael Lacy who focuses on an American menu with ingredients from the best local purveyors brought directly to your table. In addition to our menu, we offer seasonal specials to highlight seasonally available ingredients.

Enjoy local, seasonal fare outdoors on our romantic and heated patio. We provide a more casual atmosphere on our patio — projecting movies on our wall paired with music from our favorite playlists.

    We are locals and Cha Bella is our favorite! We have never had a bad meal here. Last night, I had the grilled romaine salad and the evening special. Both were amazing! Kailyn has been our server several times and she always greets us with a smile. I wanted a drink that isn’t currently on the menu, but she made it happen for me anyway. Thank you for your continued excellent menu, food, talented cook staff and great customer service.

    We went for the Thanksgiving meal and unfortunately it took 3 hours and it was very expensive. Food was okay but not worth the price or the wait. Maybe just going on a normal day would be better but for Thanksgiving, it took all evening.

    This was a total disappointment. We made a reservation weeks in advance for Thanksgiving dinner. We understand its a very complicated night but if you decide to open AND charge then I expect to have a good dinner. We were seated 50 minutes late. It was a fixed price menu. By the time we were seated they were out of the fish, wine and dessert I wanted to order. Soup was more like a compote and cold. Salad was very poor. I had the vegetarian dish (since they were out of the fish) and it was extremely poor (some wild rice, half a slice of acorn squash and a handful of mushrooms… for $65 bucks?), the apple pie was not so bad but the cheesecake was really bad, not to mention once seated we still had to wait about an hour to eat. I was extremely disappointed and regretted coming here. We spent almost $500 usd for 4 adults and 2 kids to have a cold, poorly served dinner.

    Went for thanksgiving dinner. NOT WORTH the fixed price of 65/person. Seemed very overbooked and understaffed and very chaotic. The food came out at different times. We were there for over three hours and not because we took too long to order. Would not return for thanksgiving or any holiday again. Food portions were off - some were very small. Acorn squash was an actual sliver of squash covered in what looked like mash. Drinks took almost an hour and all entrees/appetizers came out randomly. Ran out of grouper pretty early in the night. Staff seemed nice but were very busy and weren’t able to tend to their tables properly. Assuming based on the other reviews it would be worth it to return when it’s not a holiday.

    Food was good but the service was horrible. We expected a slower meal since it was Thanksgiving evening but for most of the 3 1//2 hour meal for the 4 of us wasn't bad enough I sat at the table with no water or drink for most of that time. Not sure I will be visiting here again.

    Thanksgiving dinner at Cha Bella. The service was slow, painfully slow, but given that this is a holiday they get somewhat of a pass. The food was decent, albeit non traditional for Thanksgiving, once it finally arrived. Portions were appropriate. The ambience in nice and upscale. There was nothing “wowing” about this meal. I might try again when it’s not a holiday.

    Great ambiance but the service gets messy when a lot of parties happen at the same time. Our orders got mixup several times and even the bill was not ours. I guess it depends on the day and employee you get.

    We went for Thanksgiving dinner, so the menu was very limited. It seemed like they were just not prepared for the event. Food was ok, but not anything special. Maybe just not what I had expected. I just think for the price it should have been better. I will probably not return.

    We had such a wonderful experience at Cha Bella. We had a large group of 17, and the staff was so on point the whole time that all of our guests were complimenting left and right. The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is gorgeous. It was perfect.

    This restaurant didn’t make my first list for places to have a work dinner on our trip to Savannah mainly because of the limited menu. Then it turned out Cha Bella was one of the few restaurants that could accommodate our party of 13. After we made the reservation and deposit a few in my group were skeptical. After our dining experience however, this was needlessly so. Everything we ordered was quite tasty and well executed. The skeptics were proven wrong including me! We enjoyed the mushroom side, the caprese salad, the enormous hog chops, the grouper, the risotto, and the tagliatelle. Everyone was quite pleased. Special thanks to the server and service in general. The gentleman was attentive but not overly so. All of the entrees were brought in close succession which can be tough for a large group. Thank you Cha Bella for a very nice evening!

    Waitress was very good but food was tasteless-lamb chops were not cooked to specifications (medium was rare) Ambeand tasted wild. The scallops was not cooked hard enough. The grouper cakes were ok. Would not recommend nor dine there again.

    Food came quickly and was very tasty. Entree of scallops was exceptional. Main of Tagliatelli with added Shrimp was great tasting even of the pasta was a touch overdone and the cream sauce a little thicker than I expected. The Grilled Grouper with Bok Choi was outstanding. Service was attentive but not overly so. Overall a wonderful experience for our last night in Savannah

    The bartender was able to craft special cocktails per our request and they were outstanding! The appetizers and entrees were superb and our server, Kaylyn was very attentive. Highly recommend!!

    This was our first time in Savannah, and my husbands birthday, the ambiance was romantic, the food was outstanding, the staff was very attending and helpful, and we will definitely be back next time we visit Savannah!!

    Might be the best dinner we had while in Savannah! 4 of us, we shared the Bourbon and smoked jalapeño & bacon app… it was fabulous! One in our group had the filet, perfectly prepared with flamed blue cheese and melted in your mouth. One had the shrimp risotto with lump crabmeat, superb. The shrimp were large and cooked just right. Highly recommend!

    Hidden gem in downtown Savannah. Farm to table that is way above average. Creative menu items. Loved the scallops, grilled romaine with oysters and vegetable sides. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Nice wine list. Definitely worth a visit when staying in historical district.

    The food was outstanding but the service was very suspect. The gentleman was friendly but was a little short and when we asked for cappuccino,s he came back with expresso. We expected to have some bread while waiting for our food but no such luck. Bottom line is the food was outstanding, not so much the service.
