Justin and Anthony were very respectful and gave great service once I stepped in the door. I would recommend Cheesetique to all of my friends and family! Especially to receive great service from Justin or Anthony. Delicious food, great service, and cleanliness all through! Cannot think of a better place than this!
Fun place. Happen to have been there on Trivia night. Unexpected but really fun! Great Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. Food was delicious. All around a great fun time. We will be back!
Excellent food and fast service. Will be a repeat.
Lovely atmosphere with great cheese and wine selections; the Mac arancini was particularly iconic.
It was a delightful meal with a wonderful staff. Highly recommend
My friend had bad stomach cramps afterwards. Something bad in the chicken or cheese.
Went here for Sunday Brunch. The place was relatively quiet other than a large party celebrating the holidays. Considering that, our service was mediocre. The grilled cheese sandwiches were good. Will try this place again for the cheese plates.
Good food, servers are well knowledgeable about wine and cheese.
The food was excellent. Service was also excellentZ Diner type setting- limited number of booths. Tables felt cafeteria-like so not super romantic for two.
Staff was super nice and informative when we had questions about menu.
Disorganized. Had trouble with honoring our reservation. Had to bring a rolling office chair out seat all of my party.
I expected a lot more from the Mac and Cheese. It was was similar to instant mac you’d cook from a box and came out cold (think cheez wiz sauce). The cheese plate was decent but overpriced. The bottle of wine was well priced and waitress was good.
I was very disappointed after someone highly recommended this restaurant (actually the one in Arlington and not Fairfax). Their cheese fondue appetizer did not come over a flame, but in a ceramic pot so it’s really just cheese spread. I added flank steak to my spinach salad, and instead of it being freshly cut steak, it was reheated steak so it was very salty and well done. My husband did not like the tomato soup and the bread he requested never came. It was way over priced for the quality of food and service provided.
Cute restaurant - wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches and salads . Will go back again
Food was very good - loves the cheese curds appetizer! We went on trivia night, which was a little noisy.
The food was wonderful as always—hubby and I have eaten here several times, and try new dishes each time. Our server on this occasion (a birthday brunch) was a little off his game with our party of four adults and one tween.
Fairly empty for a Saturday night in Mosaic. Lighting was/is a little too bright for our liking, but cute restaurant, fun simple menu. Overall food was tasty, husband ordered their special chicken sandwich, he said it was a little greasy, but tasty. My smash burger was also satisfying, not as juicy as I'd like, but as it was a special and not their normal fare was decent, but would opt for one of their menu staples next time. Service was at first great, but then petered out and our order was wrong. They compensated by giving us a little discount at the end of the night, which was kind and we appreciated. We will go back again if only to try the regular fare and not the specials.
Nice out-of-the-way restaurant in a corner of the Mosaic shopping center with a great selection of vegetarian items (for cheese lovers) and other good stuff!
Went for brunch on a Saturday and it was great. I'll definitely come back.
We have been here multiple times, and love it. The décor is charming, the service excellent, and the food is very tasty. Best grilled cheese & soup I've ever had! Can't wait to return!
Everything's better with CHEESE!! What's not to love??
1) Sunday brunch is really fun!
2) You've got to experience the way they perfectly pair a cocktail with the exact appropriate square of cheese.
3) We had 3 different varieties of mac 'n' cheese -- each one equally outstanding (although the truffled mac was a notch above for my palate)!
4) Staff is fun and engaging
5) Atmosphere is great -- old diner w/counter seating and art deco lighting.
Can't wait to go back!
This is always good - nice variety at brunch. My husband had the best entree, the shrimp and grits, but I was a close second with green eggs and ham.
Confusing atmosphere...diner trying to be chic. Very loud "Trivia Night."
Only thing I wish is that they had a burger ...
Service was too slow. We had to continuously call the waiter over.
Great price and tasty. Service not the best but acceptable. Waitress missed one of our orders.
The cheese boards are so nice and well-thought of with the compliments that go along with the cheeses! Love the wine wednesdays and happy hour options!
Smashburger with crispy prosciutto was terrific! Wines are always great.
Water not refilled, server didn’t provide enough plates, cheese platter very small
I love the adult grilled cheese sandwiches. The wines were ok and even those offered during happy hour were a bit pricey for what they were.
Perfect place to get together with friends. I wasn’t a fan of the lobster mac or the main salad. But the charcuterie platters and grilled cheese sandwiches were amazing!
Fabulous cheese-centric menu with some interesting wines and beers. Service was attentive and friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and conducive to conversation. The industrial/mid-century decor was a little incongruous with the menu, but the display of wine bottles at the bar and the TV screens showing the Food Network made the overall concept work. We ordered several appetizers to share and a cheese board, which was plenty of food. The wait staff is knowledgeable and can make recommendations for various cheeses. Overall a fun and relaxed evening and different from the typical restaurants in the area. Looking forward to our next visit !
A great place for cheese and more! We always enjoy it!
There was nothing wrong with it, just nothing that really stood out or would make you crave it again. Maybe if you just want something light to talk to someone outside for an hour it would be fine.
The service was poor. The server did nothing in a timely manner, was inattentive, and forgot parts of our wine and food order. I will probably return because I like the food and ambiance. I do hope for a better trained server next time.
Took a friend for birthday lunch. Food was great and service was outstanding. The manager served us and brought out a special comped dessert. I will certainly be returning. Parking is very convenient.
I've been to Cheestique in Shirlington before so I was happy to see that one opened in Mosaic--closer to home! I really enjoyed the cheese and chartucherie selections and the wine flights. Great Saturday evening activity! Our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable.
The service was amazing but unfortunately the sandwich I ordered had a strange funky flavor I couldn’t eat. It was coming from the steak. Apparently I am not a fan of whatever spices used. Its possible I may have enjoyed something else from the menu. Its a shame i disliked the food because our server was very friendly and attentive.
My mom and I went to Cheesetique for Saturday Brunch and had a great time. The specialty cocktails were delicious (and come with cheese garnishes!) and we enjoyed every cheesy bite of food (ordered burrata platter, mac & cheese, and tater tots)! We were also pleasantly surprised that we got to enjoy 10% off at the cheese shop after dining in.
This is, by far, the best place to get your cheese, wine, and charcuterie fix in the DMV area. The staff is fantastic, attentive, and knowledgeable and it is apparent that they enjoy their jobs and appreciate the customers. I was particularly impressed with Jaylin (hope I spelled that right) for her charisma, helpfulness, and if I'm being honest, because of how adorable she is. I always start with a cheese plate because they have a fantastic selection and provide a nice assortment of accouterments. They have a fantastic selection of wine and I always find myself trying one of the wine flights. If I'm still hungry after that, the BRIE I'm open to future bribery if they want to offer me some incredible fare in trade ;)
