Our waitress was exceptional and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the outside dining by the water. One of my favorite restaurants. Very enjoyable, I would highly recommend!

They made our New Year’s Eve a great experience! We felt very safe without feeling like we were in an institution! Our server was busy but very nice!

We had used the service we got there early they had room waited foe the proper time to seat us had heaters on all over they sat use as far away from the heater as they could another couple came in sat down they rolled out a heater for them.tacos were cold only allow you one of each not all of one type really miss the candy at the reception desk
Food was great! Ambiance, you can’t beat being on the water and dining outside on a warm autumn day.
During this time of covid where dining out is designated to outside .. I’d have to say Chevys has thought of its customer and it was a warm place to enjoy an evening meal out
There were some tables without heaters so it was a bit cold but know they are doing there best.
Great place to meet as a small group. Servers and manager are always professional and exercise the precautionary measures needed to remain open due to the pandemic.
All the food was delicious the drinks desserts and everything just would recommend the manager to check on the Spanish rice looked old .! Great service 👊🏻👊🏻

We went for the Sunday brunch. i ordered the shrimp and crab omelet. It was average, nothing special. Their dinner menu is much better.

food was decent and the serving staff was very aware of safe protocols. it has to be tough doing business in the world of COVID. I felt safe and enjoyed my lunch.
It took about 10 or more minutes to have our server come to our table and that was only after we asked the manager. Food was mediocre. We did enjoy the patio heaters and service was good after we found our waiter.

It took a really long time for the server to come over and take our order after we sat down( I’m talking 10-15 mins) longer then usual. Then she asked if we’ve been help, clearly we had not as we had no water drinks etc. then we orders we chips and salsa, she had not checked on us to make sure we needed anything ( I.e more tortilla chips). Overall serve rating from 1-10 I give it a 4.. it was really bad this time and most likely won’t come back.

My favorite dish is the fajita burrito, and my husband always gets the fajitas. The sweet corn, Tomalillo (not sure how to spell it), is my dessert! This Chevy's is on the Sacramento River with a great patio for outdoor dining. The service is wonderful!

Beautiful location but took over :30 min to get order taken (new server ?), so we switch with “to go” option. Enjoyed our drinks overlooking river and ate at home.

The food was very Americanized. I understand I shouldn't have expected too much but it was less satisfying than I thought. I requested to have a view by the water witch OpenTable and chevy's totally disreguarded. I'd rate Chevy's 6/10 and OpenTable 3/10.
Taco Tuesday!
Very happy with our waitress and the food was fantastic to me. We had a party of 8 and hope we were not to loud for the rest of your guests. I would recommend planning your work birthdays, Boss's day and just because parties at Chevy's on the River.
Service was good but the food wasn’t the best. Tasted like leftovers or if it was sitting out and then they reheated it. Not the best this time.
This seems to be about the only remaining Chevy's in Sacramento, but it is the best. What a great view of the river on a warm October afternoon. We ordered one of the lunch specials and it was just the right amount of food.
Absolutely awful. After ordering, food took about 30 minutes to arrive, however we were totally understanding during the odd times, no big deal. When our “sizzling” fajitas arrived at our table, there were no tortillas with them, nor were we provided with plates...napkins...and flatware. We requested the items, politely 3 different times from 2 different people. It took 18 minutes for these items to finally be delivered. Obviously the fajitas were no longer “sizzling” nor warm. THEN when we handed our server with our credit card to pay for our meal she disappeared with it for an extended period of time, we just wanted to leave. She eventually returned with our card, we paid and left (yes, we tipped her). It wasn’t until the next day as I looked at our credit card activity that I discovered she charged us for our bill AND someone else’s bill that was significantly higher than ours. We will NEVER go back to Chevy’s. NEVER.
