Wonderful in every way

Sitting in the window overlooking 5th Avenue in a snow storm, we had a delicious meal and superlative service. Clement is a favorite...I highly recommend!

This Thanksgiving dinner (or event, as I like to think of it) is my favorite meal of the year! The food is unbelievably delicious and plentiful. If someone likes a variety from which to choose (including turkey), rather than just a plate of turkey and fixings, this is the place for you! It is an expensive meal but, when you take into account that the buffet has to last all day and that the food must be constantly refreshed to keep it from drying out, there must be a lot of waste and, therefore, the price starts to look more and more reasonable. The restaurant is lovely, the staff is amazing, the food delicious and the live music provides a lovely backdrop to conversation at the dinner table. In short, I love this venue for Thanksgiving; it is a tradition in my family after many years of coming here and I intend for that to continue!

Clement and the staff at Clement are the warmest most attentive staff we’ve known. They make us feel at home when we arrive and accommodate any of our or our children’s needs. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Especially during holidays! Easter is grand and Christmas even better. The hotel is always properly done up in the most stunning decor and then the food and ambiance accentuate the rest.

The food was actually very good. The duck was cooked to perfection and drinks were also delicious. Service was top notch. However, the restaurant was practically empty when we got there (9:00 pm on a Saturday). It felt like a really cold hotel-restaurant. There might be other options to try if you're looking for a nice ambiance and a fun night, as well as great food.

All of the staff was fantastic! Had such a good experience definitely will visit again!

Attentive service, delicious food, weren’t rushed, lovely evening

I was very happy about the meal, and Clement made a dish as simple as bagel with lox stand out. The lox was abundant, extremely fresh, and I was able to save the leftovers for another day's lunch. The manager was very accommodating and polite, and they gave us a nice table facing fifth avenue, even after our arriving two hours earlier than the assigned time. Overall, it was a very good experience. I think the kitchen does best with simple dishes, and their ingredients and seasonings are tip top.

The restaurant was fashionably decorated, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. The service was extraordinary and conscientious attending with kindness to a solo diner. The octopus appetizer was delicious as was the lobster- many pieces including claw meat- with pasta entree.
My table had a wonderful view of the city and the noise level was low.

This was my third time at Clement and it never disappoints. Scallops and Caesar Salad to start are delicious. Steak was one of the best I have had in the city. The Souffle dessert was amazing and worth every second of the 20-30 minute preparation time.

My husband and I celebrated our 37th anniversary together here last year. It was so perfect and memorable we returned for our 38th! The food was mouthwatering, the service exceptional and the ambiance was romantic. We will return from Houston for our 39th, 40th, etc. for as long as we can.

Not your usual hotel-based venue. Some truly interesting new tastes. The beautiful wall hangings -- rough stacked paper arranged in elegant frames -- served to keep the dining room quiet and also to help keep the light level just right. We took staff recommendations for both dinner and wine selections and were not disappointed. A wonderful evening overall.

Much more upscale than I'd anticipated. Stuffy feel to the place, half-empty. Very high priced across the board. Ordered the recommended tomahawk steak for 3, realized it was $250 when we got the bill (but is WAS really good). Most of the wine offerings were $100+. Food was quite good but overall value wasn't quite there for me.

My guest was denied entry to hotel because of the UN affaires. The staff were helpful and they rushed to served us a wonderful lunch no matter.

For those who desire quiet dining, this is a perfect choice. The setting is absolutely lovely, the service impeccable, and the $43 weekend prix fixe dinner makes it a great option.

Went for lunch with a good friend. The food was extraordinary. Delicious. I had a vegan mushroom soup that was superb. I also had delicious avocado toast on sourdough bread and my friend had the Caesar salad. Very simple choices that were executed beyond compare. Elegant, simple, delicious - the wait staff were impeccable - the room was quiet - we weren't hurried. It was civilized and delicious and well worth it in our opinion. But it is not cheap. Nor would we have expected it to be. With ice tea, our bill came to $99. Plus tip. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
