The food was amazing and the setting was spacious but friendly with an abundance of colour and warmth! The servers were happy and attentive! Lovely restaurant- can’t wait to revisit!
Fabulous food and super friendly staff!
Booked in a bit a rush as we were see Roman baths and went here after. Got Ro restaurant 30mins early but sat down straight away, waitress was brilliant. Good came out quick and very hot just right for us and was gorgeous and was cheaper than thought would have been. Excellent restaurant would go again if in bath area.
Beautiful food and great service
The Lebanese food was excellent! My son, husband and I had mezzes toe start with then mains. All were interesting and tasty. My husband enjoyed the chicken salad with a delicious dressing, my son had the lamb burger and it filled him up and I had the lamb tagine dish with rice which was a real treat.
The service was initially slow but when we explained that we had a concert to go to, I cannot fault it at all.
I love comptoir! This was the first time visiting Bath but wow how disappointed we were conpared to your restaurants in London. Waiters and managers were completely uninterested, disengaged and quite frankly rude. Food was wonderful as usual, thanks to your hard working chefs! Please get your act together and go and spend a day training with your London colleagues on what customer service is.
It's like a fast food restaurant with great food. Ideal when you're in a hurry.
Great food. Ross’s service was exemplary. Thank you Tony for the drinks and Baklava!
Meze is good. Cocktails taste synthetic
Great food. Friendly service.
We’ll be back for sure!
Food was amazing as always, staff were not that friendly though and were not overly attentive.
Portion sizes compared to price paid was a disappointment but overall good food
Very pleasant experience. Food and service much appreciayed
Poor service, drinks and food.
Service was quick to begin and drinks offered straight away. The dips starter was tasty and plenty to share between two.
The mains quickly followed (possibly too quickly) The lamb tagine was tasty and flavourful but you would expect a larger serving for £12. The lamb kofta was more proportional to the price.
The restaurant had filled quickly which meant that trying to pay became an issue, the staff were turning away customers at the door, while we waited to pay...
A tasty but expensive quick dinner
Excellent food truly realistic Lebanese food fresh and huge flavours.reasonable price.
Setting was vibrant and interesting.
THIS WAS OUR FOURTH VISIT AND SO FAR WE HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED.
THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND WE WERE SERVED BY A CHARMING FRENCH LADY WHO ASSISTED US GREATLY IN OUR MENU CHOICES.IT IS GRATIFYING TO FIND A YOUNG PERSON TAKING SO MUCH PRIDE IN HER WORK AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE CUTOMER'S OVERALL ENJOYMENT.WE SHALL DEFINITELY RETURN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Why is service at Comptoir Libanais always hit or miss. Service was patchy and took well over 20 mins to just order drinks after being seated, which then took another 20mins just to make a coffee and drinks. Offsetting this, food is typically always good!
Delicious food, good service, excellent value and lovely atmosphere.
Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is so colourful, it is a feast for the eyes! Enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day with another friend
Average, very loud music
Great food selection with good quality ingredients for the perfect price.
Portions are generous and as starter we were happy to share a mese platter for one person between 2 people
THIS WAS OUR THIRD VISIT TO THE COMPTOIR LIBANAIS IN THE BATH SOUTHGATE COMPLEX.
WHILST THE FOOD WAS AS GOOD AS ON PREVIOUS VISITS, THE SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY SLOW ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT OF 07/12/18.
RIGHT THE WAY THROUGH FROM: THE TAKING OF THE ORDERS,TO THE DELIVERY OF THE PRE-DINNER DRINKS,TO DELIVERY OF THE MAIN COURSE,AFTER-DINNER DRINKS AND FINAL BILL.
WE SPENT TOO LONG WAITING AND HAVE THEREFORE DECIDED TO GIVE COMPTOIR LIBANAIS A BREAK FOR A FEW WEEKS,
Good service despite being busy. Lamb Tagine was very tasty but was only warm.
First time there. Loved the vibe but the food wasn’t great. My partners food wasn’t hot and my tagine was quite bland. Quite disappointed which was sad as I was really looking forward to it. Staff were great however and the beer was tasty!
Can recommend the meze with a bottle of the house red
We enjoyed the freshly made, tasty dishes on offer and the excellent house Lebanese white wine. Friendly staff and great decor - worth a visit and conveniently located by a shopping centre.
Better than expected food. Service slow, rather inattentive given how half empty the place was.
Fresh tasty food and a very friendly chilled atmosphere
Gorgeous food and a free bottle of wine with our locals card, great
Fantastic restaurant great service and lovely food price is good too!
Wonderful meal, we had the feast for two between three of us and was a delight, lots of fantastic flavours. The meze was great and I would highly recommend. Staff were lovely, attentive, great service, but not too full on. Will definitely make a return visit. We sat outside might try inside next time.
Great food and good service. Decor was really nice.
It was OK.
The food was OK but Lebanese food can be great.
Actually, the deserts were really nice.
The food was delicious and the service was prompt and attentive without being overpowering. Considering the time (19.45 onwards on a Saturday evening) I'd have expected the restaurant to have been busier so maybe it needs a bit more effective marketing.
Fabulous evening with fabulous friends at a fabulous restaurant with fabulous food!! Will definitely be coming back.....
We ordered the feast and we weren't disappointed. Loads of delicious food, eyes definately bigger than our bellies!
Had a lovely time. I have coeliacs but there were plenty of options and the staff were amazing with explaining everything! The food was amazing, served fresh. The atmosphere was wonderful as it is decorated very nicely!
Visited on Saturday lunchtime, was a nice lunch. We had hummus to start ( really nice flavour to it ) and I then had the halumi salad and my husband had the grilled chicken salad. We also had iced tea and it was delicious! Recommended and we would go again
Oh what a beautiful restaurant. It was like suddenly stepping into a foreign holiday in the centre of Bath. A lion, witch and wardrobe moment if you like. The first waitress who served us was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, but after she went off duty at nine we had to wait for one of our puddings for ten minutes. The food was ok and well presented but a little overpriced. Very much recommend a visit to soak up the ambiance.
