The food is always great, the service is always attentive and personal. During the time of Covid the ambience is a bit lacking and we look forward to eating indoors again and until then will stay supportive.

The seating was under a tent in the parking lot behind the restaurant which you could only get to via a cramped back foot of the restaurant. Unfortunately the heat lamps weren’t working. Without any music or ambiance, it left something to be desired. Food was very good.

Great restaurant in downtown St Helena. They have a wonderful outside dining area behind the restaurant. Food great as always. Support hour local restaurants. They need your patronage especially at this time. So get out and dine.

Great food - safe environment-friendly staff

Cook has been one of my favorite restaurants in the Napa area since they opened several years ago. The ambiance is cozy and inviting with a distinct wine country charm, and service is always professional yet warm and friendly. Isabella is a wonderful server and Jude (the chef) is personable and can sling pans with the best chefs anywhere in the Bay Area.
In short, go to this restaurant for honest, well cooked Italian food and a great wine list.

The pastas here are outstanding - we really loved everything we ordered. Service was very kind and friendly, love the open kitchen concept. The panna cotta is INCREDIBLE - make sure you save room for it!

We were seated promptly for outside dining, in a sectioned off area of the parking lot with well separated tables. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The risotto, which changes daily, deserves special mention, and the pasta and sandwiches are also very good. We will definitely go back when we visit Napa Valley again.

The mussels w andouille sausage is a MUST and the daily risotto is always a great choice. Best gnocchi and pasta around!

With the new addition of the outdoor seating, Cook is a no-brainer option in Saint Helena

We sat right by the kitchen, practically in the kitchen which made it difficult to carry on a conversation with all the background noise. Other tables in the front room would not have this same issue. Our waitress was sweet enough, but I don’t like to have to ask for beverages. Those should be arranged prior to a starter arriving at a table. Food was delicious. The carbonara was excellent!

This is the place to go if you’re looking for exceptional food in an unassuming setting. My wife and I ate here two nights in a row during our stay in Yountville because it was so delicious.

Perfect outdoor experience during Covid issues.

Outstanding gnocchi

My friend really enjoyed his lunch. I enjoyed the mussels and minestrone soup. Our server was a dear. We enjoyed the outdoor experience, but thought they should have tried to cover the dumpsters on the way out.

Amazing food. Just the right portions and amazing taste. You can not go wrong here.

Fantastic meal. I went for the specials. One of the best minestrone soups I have ever had followed by the risotto of the day which had heirloom tomatoes, perfectly cooked shrimp and a diver scallop crowning the center. Finished the meal with the house made Panna Cota. The owners, Jude and Meagan, are exceptional hosts. Can't wait to go back.

Cook is a family owned local favorite. Their gnocchi carbonara is exceptional. Other favorites include mussels with sausage, eggplant parmigian and chopped salad. Daily specials include soups and pastas. Everything about Cook is friendly and comforting. And every visit leaves me smiling!

Wonderful food and location. The melon and prosciutto salad was amazing. Went back for lunch the next day for the heirloom tomato BLT. Also was fabulous.

Amazing food! Very fresh, it’s amazing how you can tase the difference of fresh vs non. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the fettuccine. Both winning dishes. We started with the Burrata, almost went with the calamari. It seemed like both options were considering the table next to us wouldn’t stop raving about the calamari!! Will definitely be back again.

We loved it! Chef came and talked with us and recommended fantastic pastas. Scallops were incredible for an app too.

Hostess was so flexible in getting us in for a good experience during the wildfires when outdoors was uncomfortable. The food was exceptional.

Great little place...been there for many years for a good reason. Try the Eggplant Parmesan! Salmon was also great!

The host originally arranged indoor two seats for us. However we were not comfortable to dine in thus we asked if there was any way they could seat us outside in the back patio. The chef was very accommodating and resolved it for us right away. We waited for foods for quite a while after ordering despite there were not many patrons in the restaurant. I ordered the pasta with sausage. It smelled really good as the flavors of sauce were amazing. However, it was way too salty and hard to eat at all. My friend ordered the Parmesan eggplant but it was flavorless. We were excited about this restaurant as this was the first time for us to visit. However, foods were clearly a bust. This could be just our bad luck to order the wrong dishes at the wrong time.

ALWAYS wonderful. Bella is amazing and gives us great service. Food is awesome.

Due to COVID restrictions, dining was outside in the back of the building. With that being said, they did a GREAT job making it feel cozy, comfortable, and an overall enjoyable experience.
And of course the food was amazing!!!!
