Best buttermilk fried chicken (dark meat) south of San Francisco. Planning for a repeat visit
Excellent service and value. Delicious fried chicken!!! Definitely plan to return :)
Food and service was excellent. Their fixed priced dinner worth every penny.
Love Creola - great food and value but it is noisy!
Birthday Dinner! We tried a bit of everything. Shrimp and crab bisque, jambalaya for appetizers then Shrimp CreoLa and my favorite Etouffee for my main dish. Fresh, warm beignets for dessert.
CreoLa does not disappoint!!
Food was very good though some portions—the catfish—was on the small side. Service was very slow.
Friendly, great service, delicious food. Will def be back
Great food at a great price. Can be a little noisy but then again most places are.
Great food! Everything was fresh & served hot! Real southern food...makes me miss my Mama’s cooking 😁
We were disappointed for the first ever time! Service was not good and we asked to split a salad ( which is what we always do) and they brought it in a metal bowl , for us to split with no side plates. Just disappointed as we always have loved it.
Introduced two new friends to CreoLa. As always, CreoLa didn’t disappoint. The food and cocktails - creative and delicious. The service - friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is great- comfortable and relaxed. Always love suggesting CreoLa for a taste of New Orleans
This is first time to visit here.We enjoyed foods!!When we ordered we can have good explanation with warm heart(we are from
Japan they try to speak our language ）
They were having a large party for a customer so the usual dining area was taken over by this party which meant we were seated right next to the bar & front door.
Our party of 5 enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere and felt the "nawlins" vibe. We are regulars and have never had a bad experience. Thank you to Edwin and staff for another exceptional diining experience. The new addition of the Root Beer Float is definitely a keeper!!
I took my husband to Creola for his birthday along with our family. We have always had good service and delicious food...this time was no exception.
the perfect spot for brunch with friends. a triumph! the food was excellent. in fact, everyone cleaned their plates. many in my party have not been to NOLA, and Creloa gave them a taste of what the food is like in NOLA - yum!
i am from New Jersey and whenever i am in the area, i will make sure to stop in for a bite.
Outstanding as usual. The Mardi Gras menu is the best value around. The Tuna tacos are so delicious we order extra.
Excellent food. Service was slow. Not overly crowded.
Custer service was great, unfortunately we had to cut our dinner short due to a toddler tantrum. We ended up taking our food to-go but they forgot to add all our meals and didn't realize until we got home. The food that was packed for us wasn't as spicy as we were told it would be. We definitely added those hot sauce packets to our food and some pepper/salt for flavoring/seasoning
This is a “go to” place for my family and I. We have our favorites like Creole Jambalaya and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Combo Pie for desert. Service is always friendly and a kid friendly environment. We bring friends here to celebrate events and for business.
The food here is amazing!!! Unfortunately maybe we got a night they were understaffed because the service was pretty bad. My boyfriend had to flag someone down to order drinks, food and every time we needed something along with piling our dishes at the end of table and every time someone got a new drink no one would take the old glasses. Even had to wave down someone for the check and get our own silverware for the desert. Maybe it’s because we were a party of 7 so the tip was already included not sure. We don’t complain much so we didn’t mention it and went on with our evening but everyone was bothered by the lack of service. However the food is phenomenal so we’ll be back. Hopefully with better service :)
Good lunch selections. Nice owner. Great service. Of course all the dishes we ordered were yummy too.
Terrific, as usual ! Wonderful food, service, and restaurant vibe. We encourage all our friends to try this local favorite.
We were greeted and seated promptly even though we were early. The food was good, with the right portion size so that we got to try several dishes. They were also reasonably priced. Service was good: non-intrusive yet there when you need anything. Overall, a very nice experience and we will be going back.
I tried the shrimp and crawfish etouffee which was just OK. The seafood was plentiful but the flavors were lacking. My sister ordered the catfish po boy, and while the fish itself was fine, the sandwich itself could have used better bread and richer flavors besides the remoulade. The beignets were good. which were my favorite part of the meal. If you're looking for a solid southern/NOLA inspired restaurant, I would recommend Brenda's French Soul Food instead. For the value and flavors, I would not return to Creola.
First time going for brunch and it was amazing.
Great device, great food, great atmosphere
Did not want to do the large entrée portions so we headed to Creola which has a wonderful array of tasty appetizers. We ordered up Shrimp, Boudin Balls, TunaTacoTT, Fried Okra Splayed (new presentation of this dish, Yum), Jambalaya Appetizer, Red Bean Appetizer. This was paired with Creola’s perfectly blended Sazerac’s up. Just the right amount of food and beverage. And the service was top notch.
Ever since my husband and I discovered Creola over 10 years ago we have absolutely LOVED it. The food, the wait staff, the atmosphere, and the amazing chef and owner of the establishment are nothing short of AMAZING!!
Great place overall, but too many tables and diners for too few servers - service very slow.
Awesome! Authentic Cajun. Tasted like New Orleans!
Great food, wonderful service.
Have not had a bad meal.
One of my favorite go to place on the Peninsula. Great food and service. Can’t beat the pre fixed dinner option!
The food here is amazing! Portions are perfect and I would recommend having a larger group so you have the chance to try a little bit of everything.
Delicious food. Everything was tasty. Mardi Gras menu was a great value.
Been here many times. Everything was great this time as always.
It was great to revisited after many months. We had a great food and service were excellent.
Now they added vegan option to the menu, that makes easy for my other friends to join us next time.
Great food, good service.
I had been wanting to try this place for sometime but just got around to it recently. I'm glad we finally came in because the food was amazing! We went on Sunday morning for brunch and ordered beignets that were hot and fluffy, boudin balls that were crispy fried and tasty and for my actual breakfast order I got a fried boudin cake with a poached egg and crawfish hollandaise on top. That also came with a side of crispy fried potato that looked and tasted like awesome tater tots. Then finally to top it off we partook in their special which was a bowl of whole crawfish that we cracked ourselves.
I usually like to go to Nola's when we are looking for some Creole food but I will be going here from now on. It doesn't have the same lively vibe as Nola's but it kicks their butt in the food department.
