Expected more (read good reviews at tripadvisor). Food was medium.
We had a nice meal which was great value especially for city centre on a Saturday evening.
Service was very friendly, busy but fairly efficient.
Would look forward to going back again.
Good food, nice service, loud music for those who fancy it.
Last night in Dublin.
For a city centre restaurant, Crow Street is good value, has a nice ambiance and portions are a decent size.
The place is cozy and classy. Excellent choice of food with a large variety , good list of wine.
Service was speedy and professional
Food was amazing! The pre-theatre menu was excellent value. Staff were friendly and attentive. And the cocktails were delicious! Couldn't fault it.
Totally professional staff. Excellent food. We were at a quiet table in the back room. The only observation is that the table was under a speaker and we had to request the music be lowered in volume. In fact, with a busy room the music could be gradually taken out altogether.
Gorgeous food, best lamb shoulder.
Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff!
We had such an amazing time, the food was gorgeous and staff where fantastic.
Delicious food....we tried to pick a variety from the menu as everything looked so good and nothing disappointed us. Tasty cocktails and a decent choice of wines ....staff were the right amount of attentive without being overbearing....would definitely come again....found the set menu price very affordable on a previous visit where the a la carte definitely adds up.
The staff in this restaurant were extremely friendly but unfortunately let down by the food and the relative price versus the quality. My friends and I meet monthly to catch up and have sampled many restaurants in Dublin 2 and I think it would be fair to say that this experience was the worst we have experienced in sometime.
Impossible to fault any aspect of our meal here. The staff were friendly and attentive, without being on top of us. Both starter and main course were delicious and different to most offerings. And the cocktails were also top quality.
Excellent food and a great atmosphere!
Lovely atmosphere, seemed a bit too dark for the other guys at the table. Just to note, if you're wearing heals, the floor is a bit slippy. It's a nice spot for a party of people or just a private dinner for 2. Tasty food, would come back again.
Food was wonderful. Pace was un-rushed. One nice surprise was that the bartenders made an Old Fashioned that was better than most of the ones I've had in the USA. Definitely recommend. We would eat there again when visiting Dublin.
Great top end. Great location in Temple Bar. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Amazing, amazing, amazing!Lovely romantic meal and managed to impress the mrs so all good!!
Very good food and service. Only thing is that we were given the pre thetre menu as well as the normal menu but when we tried to order off it was actually finished.
A very good evenight was had at Crowe Street. Star of the show was the Prawn and Crab salad, lamb was nice, steak was too but at €31 I expected a little better. Staff were attentive but not in your face.
My wife and I went to Crow Street ahead of attending the Gaiety theatre, which is just a 5 minute walk away, and opted for the 'pre-theatre' menu. We were the first there for the restaurant opening at 5.00pm, but were soon joined by other diners so as to offer a bit of ambiance. Not a huge variety of options on the 'pre-theatre' menu, but we both managed to find both a started and main course that we fancied, and all 4 dishes were excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity, not too small a portion. The staff were very attentive and all in all it was a lovely meal and excellent value for money. The only minor criticism, would be the price of the wine, with most bottles being priced at upwards of €34, but we opted for one of the two below this price, at €28, and very nice it was.
Great food and service. We are Travellers from Australia and England. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Excellent start to end, fabulous food. Lovely staff
Gorgeous food and drinks in a great location. The vegetarian options are a breath of fresh air, I highly recommend the grilled peaches on ricotta toast!
Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Aim to go back soon.
Great food and great place to enjoy a weekend brunch. Staff were great
The welcome was very warm and friendly. The staff are great especially on. Sunday after what was probably a normal but crazy weekend. Great food, great service but the wine was extortionate! No need to charge so much as it is so easy to spend hours in there chatting, eating and drinking.
We chose this restaurant after reading reviews, and location was spot on also.
From entering, the service I have to say shone. It was some of the best personable, witty yet professional manner I have ever come across in an establishment.
We were welcomed with a glass of fizz as it was anniversary – nice touch. We went for the pre theatre menu, which was tremendous value taking into account this is a high end restaurant.
Great knowledge, attentive service without not being intrusive, good ambience, and food was all freshly prepared and cooked. The Calamari starter in particular was without doubt the best I have ever eaten, lovely balance of flavours alongside and perfectly cooked.
A special mention to Jen, who was waiting on our table. My wife didn’t feel too well on the night, and Jen was more than helpful to not make her feel uncomfortable. She had a great knack of actually seeing like she was interested without being too overly sickly sweet in her approach. A true asset to your venue.
5 stars all round, and wouldn’t batter an eyelid in coming back to this venue again in the future.
Hats off to Crow street!
Second time going in a week. The staff here are sublime - I haven't had such good service in Dublin in a long time. Have seen them go above and beyond with other customers and when we visited the barman went out especially to get tomato juice for my friend's bloody mary. The menu is so interesting, loads of options and so nice to have a change from the usual boring things that are offered for brunch. Can't wait to get back for dinner next time
Nice decor, friendly welcome but inattentive service after. Brunch menu not very inspiring. My breakfast tacos very bland and portion tol small, came without the potatoes described, waitress never came near to tell her until clearing the plates at which stage she offered to bring them out. Of course I don't want them at that stage.
At least could have offered a coffee on the house for the mistake.
Excellent food and service would definitely recommend to anyone
Lovely little restaurant we booked for our anniversary while in Dublin. The food was outstanding and really good value as we had the pre theatre 3 courses. The service was impeccable and we never had to wait for a thing, highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing. Great food and lovely atmosphere!
Was expecting more based on the reviews. Food was just average.
Acoustics dreadful with loud thumping music and lighting horrific. Not relaxing. Food ok, but will never return or recommend this place again.
I was only person there. Music too loud but was turned down. Fab wine Montrals. Food ok. Tostados lovely. Dessert tasteless. Salt caramel something. Staff lovely especially Brazilian waitress.
Service was great! Food delicious! A sure place for a date!
Meal was really tasty. Team were friendly and helpful. Leaving there, we saw a couple of people checking out the menu. Recommended that they go in. I do to you too.
Really enjoyed our first visit to this excellent restaurant. Loved the food and friendly service. Very close to the Olympia Theatre so it was great for pre theatre dinner.
