Lovely restaurant, great food. Will definitely return!
Our second time dining here. Very nice. Lovely inside and warm inviting outside. Can’t wait to go back.
Very nice patio surrounded with lovely hedges. Outdoors but under a cover with chandeliers and heat lamps, mostly out of the wind so very comfortable even though it is getting colder in the evenings now. Great food and service as well.
Thank you so much for having chosen Cucina Venti to dine at and for the great review. We hope you come again soon.
We stumbled on this place through open table and loved everything about it
Over all good experience, Food was very tasty and the portion size was just enough. The octopus was delicious. Our service person was not on top of the game and we had to ask for table water twice, also he. we had to ask the manager on duty to ask our service person twice to come to the table. Despite poor service, I would recommend this place because of the great atmosphere and excellent food.
Wine list prices are highly inflated. Paid $60 for a Merlot that sells for $13 at a major Super Market. Corckage fee $50!! Outrageous.
Terrific appetizers, but the mains were eminently forgettable. In fact, I would venture to say that the mains (pasta dishes) had been prepped well ahead and simply reheated before plating. The shine of a just-prepared dish was simply missing. A bit tired looking, as for instance, the spinach in one dish that just looked overly cooked and really droopy.
Service was friendly, but affected by COVID shortages.
Wine list is a joke, with some bottles at a mark-up of 4-8X. Several labels of different wines were lumped in the same listing, which was really bizarre. The first one is Gaja, which retails for about $80 and is listed for $248, same as the Baricci, which is listed on the menu for $600! More strangely, the Pieve Brunello is from the Gaja brand, but is listed with Baricci. A 2015 St Emilion, Chateau La Dominique retails for about $50-60, but is listed for $260.
Probably a better place for lunch where you can make a meal out of starters.
We love this restaurant! I have been here before but to share with friends was great! Appetizers and Entrees are delicious! Typically I will do wine with Appetizers because they are small and a couple fill you up. (Like Tapas) or I do no appetizers , eat the delicious bread and an entree! My friends were impressed with the gorgeous ambiance and service !!! Thank you to Cucina Venti! We will be back :)!!
Love the food and ambiance.. will keep going back for date nights or birthdays
Food taste/quality was average. Service was courteous and polite but painfully slow and inattentive . Had to get up several times to find our water for service even though the restaurant was practically empty
Creative items on menu. Great ambiance and service. Can’t wait to get back!!
Thank you Susan! We can not wait for you to return as well.
Everything was just right. Rare experience these days
We came here to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. Our waiter, Luis, was very nice and attentive. The food was not as good as we have previously had. They used to have the best spinach. It was tough and tasteless. My scallops were delicious, but the asparagus were charred.
I noticed none of the staff in the kitchen were wearing masks or they were situated below their noses. This made me very uneasy. We won’t be back. So sorry.
Everything was perfect with exception to my date.
Yet another great experience at this awesome restaurant. Everything was perfect, the food, the service, the wine. I wish more restaurants would be like Cucina Venti. Well worth the hour+ driving and traffic.
Awesome food; friendly beautiful restaurant both indoors and outdoors!
Information provided via OpenTable was inaccurate, which caused a major frustration on an important date for my wife and I (i.e, our 19th Wedding Anniversary).
- Restaurant has a no children policy (which was not communicated while making the reservation), and after getting there, we were offered a table outdoors, on an uncovered area (during a cold night, with a 4 years old child).
- Food was below average, on both taste and presentation fronts. One dish was extremely spicy (paella), the other simply with no taste (pasta with chicken).
- One of the waiters was friendly, but others looked like they were stressed and not happy to serve customers in general.
- Parking wasn't smooth.
- Overall, very poor experience. Never returning back there, and have already shared negative feedback within my working place (company's email list with over 5,000 people in the Bay Area alone).
Cucina Venti servers excellent food. There is most likely something for everyone on the menu. They have lovely out door seating, but as the weather turns colder I'm not sure how long one's food would stay hot outside. Definitely worth a try. Perhaps a bit hard to find and then finding parking can also be a trick.
Wonderful place to get fine food and great service! The food is consistently tasty, delicious and cooked just right. Periodically, the chef serves house made petite breads for customers to sample...a very nice surprise treat to accompany your dinner.
Great appetizer and entree selections. Grilled octopus as well excellent. Sea scallops were also prepared very well. The service was friendly and fast which was wonderful since we were on a schedule to get to a show. We didn't have dessert but will make a point to have some on our next visit. Only down side is parking is extremely limited and you need to be mindful of where you park to avoid being towed.
Ambiance was great, good service, nice heated patio for a chilly evening. Was slightly off put that I asked for regular water and they charged us for the bottled spring water when it wasn’t totally obvious. I agree with other reviewers that they use their drinks to price gouge.
Fantastic cuisine and service in a wonderful setting, will return soon
Food was good, and patio seating was real nice, but they gouge on any and every type of drink. They start the meal off offering you sparkling water or their "special" bottle of everyday drinking water. It's pretty bad when you can't even get a free glass of water.
Cheapest glass of wine was $17.00 and cocktails were about $21.00. And, if you bring your own bottle of wine they charge a $50.00 corkage fee. So, even though the food was okay for the price I paid, for a party of three, I would not return to this restaurant.
My angel hair pasta with shrimps tasted really bad. The shrimps were bad and gave the bad taste to the rest of the dish. I didn't want to make drama as we were with friends and thought I would keep it instead of returning it to the kitchen but I was sick throughout the night.
Are before a concert at Shoreline. VERY slow service.
Amazing customer service. Always attentive to us. Food on time and delicious! Definitely recommend coming here.
Service was a little slow.
We came in at 630 on a Saturday night and it was nice and busy without being too crowded. We had to get our waiters attention when we were ready to order but apart from that, the service was warm and efficient! Nice cocktails, the pasta w duck confit was great, the lasagna was very good, but still cool in the center tho the sauce around it was piping hot and warmed the pasta up well. As usual the bread was deliciously warm, and during dinner the kitchen came out with some extra little bites of olive bread that were scrumptious!
Not only we had a wonderful meal, but the experience was outstanding. This is our third time dining at this restaurant and it never disappoints. The food, the ambiance, the service, all outstanding. Kiddos to our server and John the manager who stopped at every table to make sure everyone had a great experience. Well worth the hour drive through traffic from Danville. We’ll be back!!
Attend a concert at the Shoreline
They continue to deliver a wonderful dinner in a beautiful environment. Their service was a little slow because they had two large parties at the same time, but it is such a nice place that one doesn't mind a few delays. The food continues to excel!
No Italian red wine at an Italian restaurant was very disappointing.
Four of us were in the area for the 49er’s game the next day and we liked our dinner, excellent service, and nice atmosphere. Following two shared, rather plain, calamari appetizers, accompanied by an excellent creamy aioli, each of us had a different entree. The Seared Scallops, Mediterranean Sea Bass, and Penne Francesca were well-received. The Pappardelle Bolognese was below expectations because of overcooked pasta and not enough sauce. Service was attentive with a welcomed recommendation from our waitperson for the Chardonnay we ordered. Overall we would dine here again when we return to the area.
Wonderful. Everything was excellent. This extra sentence written to meet the minimum character requirement.
Our lunch was presented nicely and the food was good. We had the scallops and veal chops. The scallops were cooked just right but very small. Only four served. The sauce was not great but the veggies were good. The veal was good and cooked as requested. The house salad was also good. Nothing was exceptional but we will be back again. A little pricey for the food provided but nice atmosphere.
Great ambiance with nice outdoor seating, good food and service.
the food was decent, but nothing extravagant. prices were a bit over the top and the portions were small. the appetizers menu looked like a trip to chilis, so we skipped that. the entrees were nice but not enough. the desert was poor but cheap.
Loved their food, lamb chops are a must, octopus was cooked perfectly and drinks are very refreshing.
Must try their creme brulee
Good atmosphere, maybe for IG photos. The food is OK but not impressing at the price level. Entree portion is more like large sized appetizer. Will not go again
Food was great, nice atmosphere too. Loved the pasta and bread!
